Bro what are y’all doing in this duel using fiendish chain And other trap cards Alec literally has Jinzo on the field everybody’s trap cards in this situation are negated
By the way trap card played at 29:50 is the other way around person attacking gains or person activating loses

Alec in your second duel with Calvin. All traps should've been negated. Once Jinzo hits the field all traps are negated. Yes Jinzo beats Skill Drain because Jinzo is being summoned and his effects will activate which then Skill drain will try and activate in return be negated. Just letting you know lol.

To everyone wondering about the jinzo thing in the first match.
If skill drain is face up first then jinzo will lose it effect.
If jinzo is first then skill drain can not activate.

@@oisinlynch8427 you need to have a third card to create the loop, I think it's Royal Decree => negate skill drain => Jinzo negate Royal Decree => Skill Drain is back or something like that. I saw that video with Coder and Farfa but can't remember the detail

I noticed that too. Fortunately, it likely wouldn’t have changed the outcome of both duels it was used in. But we may never know.

Boys, I've going through your videos lately and I gotta say, y'all some of the best duelists I've seen in ages while still being entertaining. In my opinion, Draft play shows a players ability to adjust to new situations. By using cards that likely won't work together, you end up finding crazy combinations that you'd likely not find outside the Draft format

Yo these friend group tournaments are literally my favorite videos. You guys should get as many people you need to in order to do a tournament with every structure deck you've done thus far. You put each deck name on a posted note folded in a hat and everyone picks one and that's their deck. Just a fun idea imo I'd watch the whole thing for sure.
That intro made me feel like I was on the Kaiba blimp! Looking at some of those cards is like a trip down memory lane! Cyber jar was one of my favourites cos it’s so ridiculously powerful.

This is yugioh i grew up with and still understand. Play one monster a turn, maybe activate its effect, maybe special summon one(!) more monster and then just attack in whatever the opponent has. yeah. good ol days.
Eh i find this kind of slow, i like a middle ground between this and modern yugioh
@@RasTex512 I would enjoy that too if i had ANY idea whats going on there. xD i stopped playing yugioh back when synch monsters were introduced. Xyz I can still get my head around but even pendulum is too much for my oldtimer head.
I now bought a display of Dawn of Majesty (or something like that?) packs just for nostalgic reasons and I think I wont understand a single card. Is that a good pack? And i think i have bought some Blazing Vortex(?) in that bundle as well. Any cards I should look out for? xD

@@CaPtNcApS1 blazing vortex kinda sucks, the only good card Is pot of prosperity, wich if you find you Better sell It since its like 80 euros worth or something. In Dawn of majesty there are synchron supports, Stardust synchron, synchro overload, Majestic shooting star dragon (i think). But thy are all secrets so you have to be lucky to pull one

Yeah I wished they'd do more battle packs. I actually like the idea of pendulum, link et cetera- I just don't like these insane combos which end a match in 4 turns and 25 special summons
@@otto2853 I fully agree. Links are a cool concept to me. And honestly. It feels balanced. Both of those broke things when they started. But the current format has fixed them. Tbc nothing was worse than the first link format
But yeah those solitaire combos are so annoying. I prefer a mix between too old school and present day. I want the new stuff and some speed. I don’t want like. Do one thing and that’s your turn. Small combos. Like synchron kinda speed I think. But there’s no going back
I know it's probably a whole ordeal in it of itself but I'd love to see the full deck list the team is running , but nonetheless a fantastic vid had a great time watching these matches. Makes me wish there was more sealed play options in yugioh

Really digging the special effects and presentation! One thing, though. Could the card images remain on the screen for just a little longer? By time I realize I don't know the card and try to pause to read it, it's already gone.
I have nostalgic vibes seeing these guys duel off like the good old times. I played the OTC the first weeks it came out in US/CAN.
I was pretty young at the time but I managed to build an extremely nasty Dragon beat down deck with the expensive ultra rares in it (now mostly banned). Locally at the time I had the most lethal BEWD deck in the entire city. It was unbeatable _UNLESS_ it bricked itself, which was always a 30% chance it does, but still worked extremely well.

Can yall do some 5D's character duels? Not structure/starter decks necessarily, just decks themed around the flagship monsters, letting some of the APS guys put their own twists on 5D's classics like rose dragon and power tool dragon.

My son recently got into YGO and I played as a kid and we have been playing and learning together. We have really been enjoying this channel you guys are awesome

This video is just so nostalgic for me. When I started playing YGO it’s when it first came out, there were no OTK at that time. The game has become more expensive and quite frustrating, buying boxes does not help, buying singles is the way to go but still to be competitive you need 350-400+ $ minimum to start hoping to buy a good competitive deck.. but seeing this videos that you guys do, just feels so refreshing. You are really great guys!!!

All these new Link and Pendulum cards just kill the vibe of the game. Anyhow opinion. Keep up these classic type of vids.

Draft format is my favorite format in any tag because everyone has access to similar cards and play based on skill rather than what cards everyone bought. Seriously, I wish draft had appeared in the anime, it would have been EPIC.
