Star Wars fans actually love it when they meet people who haven't seen Star Wars. It gives us an excuse to marathon the movies and watch new people experience the magic for the first time.

LOL this was one of the funniest shorts in a while. Harry Potter group had me laughing like crazy.
5 months! You both had 5 months to secretly get the whole series and watch it! Sure, Star Wars has the extended universe to read and Harry Potter deviates from the books slightly, but set aside a day/weekend and just go through the entire movies! That's the least you can do for the person you like, right?

I do not see the problem here. They are great except they don't know each others favorite fanchise. A true fan would share their fanchise with the uninducted. They should have each had a marathon of the movies with each other. Then at least each would know what they other was talking about even if they didn't like it themselves.
