I had my first kiss at 21 - my 3rd year of college. It was the end of our second date, he dropped me off at my apartment. We hugged, and while our faces were still near each other, he asked "Do you wanna kiss?"
And I just kind of blubbered, "Um, well, I've never done it before..."
"Do you want to try?"
"Ok."
So as his face came closer to mine, I scrunched up my face like this >____>
It wasn't a great first kiss, but I'm proud that I got a funny story out of it.

I had my first kiss around the same time as Phil's. 17 going on 18.
We were assisting our high school play together. I was the assistant stage manager and he was part of the crew. After many rehearsals and shows, we got to know each other a little bit better. I remember being super shy, awkward and nervous. Sometimes, I would be so nervous that would run away or strategically try avoid him. lol It took a lot to calm my nerves when he walked me to my car once and let me borrow his sweater another time.
We would hang out back stage and wait for scenes to pass, specifically because we had to be ready to move props. While we were waiting, we had to be completely silent. Once during the show, we passed notes on my phone back and forth. After much internal deliberation, I wrote in the notes that I liked him, and he wrote that he like me back. Later on, we peered out of the curtain to watch the wedding scene for the hundredth or so time. He looked back at me, as our eyes met, we kissed.
People grow and mature at different rates! Don't feel discouraged or pressured about your first kiss.

My first kiss was actually earlier this year on Valentine's Day.
My ex and I had a date at the Vietnamese New Year Festival.
We spent the day together, and then we walked over to the park next to the fairgrounds.
For my Valentine's present to him, I gave him a card I drew and I learned "Valentine" by Kina Grannis on the ukulele to sing to him.
After he hugged me and thanked me for the song, I looked at him and said, "Wait, I have one more thing for you" and I kissed him. It was his first kiss, too.

My first kiss was when I was 19 and I was the latest among all of the people that I know... I don't know anyone who has kissed at a later age than me. Key point is: don't feel the pressure to rush it if you don't feel ready. I'm happy it happened at 19 with the right person and I still remember my first kiss like it happened yesterday :)
a couple things:
1- Benson.... tell your editor that he needs more mushy song choices. geez. But his work on 6:12 was awesome! lol
2- More Joanna please! She's been a favorite of mine for a long time now. LOVE her personality.
3- My first kiss was when I was a junior in high school and I took my girlfriend on a date and walked her to her door and kissed her. I can still remember the feeling of her lipstick and how quickly my heart was beating. Oh, and I'm 26 now haha

My first kiss was in a movie theatre. I was 15 and the guy was 17. He was actually a good friend of mine at the time. We were watching the first Transformers movie with a bunch of our other friends and for some reason, my flip phone (I'm old) decided to go crazy midway through the movie. Full volume music just started playing out of nowhere. Gold digger by Kanye lol. Anyway I panicked, couldn't turn the music off for a solid twenty seconds, and got yelled at by some random man in the row behind us. I was very shy back then, so I just apologized and shrunk in my seat like a coward lmao.
The guy - the one I ended up kissing - was seated a couple of seats to the left of me. About ten or fifteen minutes after I was yelled at, I got a text message from him saying, "Are you okay?". Worry not! My phone was set to vibrate at this point and the volume of the movie was so loud, no one caught on. I stealthily replied, told him I was fine, and we did a horrible, horrible thing texting back and forth until the movie was over. I don't even remember what happened in the second half of that movie. I just remember glancing over at him after to see that he was in no rush to leave. We made eye contact, waited a minute or two for the place to clear out, and then met halfway. For a second we just laughed about that old man and how angry he got, and the next thing I know we're kissing lmao. It wasn't as sudden as I'm making it sound, but it was very unexpected considering how long we had known each other. We left after and pretended like nothing happened in front of our other friends haha. A week or two later everyone found out we were secretly dating and that was that.

My advice for all single people, especially boys: When you share your first kiss with someone, DON'T USE TONGUE. Many girls are really grossed out by that. You need to build up to that level, it's not a thing to do at the beginning.
Being 3rd generation Japanese, we don't do Public Displays of Affection. I was 16, working in a gas station when a friend of my co-workers came by to visit. It was a female. They were all adults as I was the only one still in High School. After I waited on a car, I walked into the office to put the money in the cash register but got a funny feeling. Everyone was looking at me, so I tossed the money on the desk and quickly walked out. I was working on my VW bug when the girl approached. I stood up and backed away. She asked what was I doing? I told her I was working on my car and kept backing away. She asked me to get closer. I said no, so she walked back into the office. The guys were cracking up. After she left, they told me that they told her I had never been kissed so she was going to kiss me. I believed the girl I kissed was the one I would marry. In College, at 18, I met my future wife. There was a friend who was a girl. She would always call me to go out to a movie or dinner. At the end of the night, she hold her arms out for a kiss. She had a fiancee who was in the Navy. I told her, "If your fiancee never kissed anyone but you, how would that make you feel?" She said, "Special", so I told her, "Don't you want to make him feel special"? So I kissed her goodnight on the head.

I had to fly from Hawaii to another state for my first kiss because it was long distance XD. I think I was 16.
He's super affectionate, but knew I was really shy so he would start slow, but it accelerated quickly throughout the day. It started off with hand holding, hugging, and kisses on cheeks. Then forehead and hand kisses. In the elevator he wrapped his arms around me and started kissing me on the neck. When we were going back down the elevator, he did the same thing then asked me to turn my head and he kissed my gently. It was nice I suppose, but I was super tense since I was super shy. Then he taught me how to French kiss and was quite patient and encouraging. I don't know if anyone else felt like this, but French kissing felt SUPER WEIRD the first few times, also I hated closing my eyes completely.
For the rest of the day he would always kiss me first when I look up to speak to him and we would make out quite a bit.

It was my first year in college and I just started dating my then-boyfriend... I think it was around Christmas time and we were hanging around a mall.
So we were travelling down the escalators to the subway, and he was one step behind (above) me, and I was turning around to talk to him
And he just sort of leaned in and kissed me. I was super nervous the whole time, but it wasn't his first kiss so he kind of knew what he was doing, I guess? It wasn't that awkward, but we've broken up since.

For my first kiss I was in 2nd grade in the tunnels on the playground. First real kiss that meant anything and I can fully remember I was 17 and it was in a sketchy park in pitch black darkness thousands of miles from where I live. (It's not as bad as it sounds) I was surprised when he kissed me and didn't know how to move my lips to kiss him back because it literally paralyzed me. But it was awkwardly beautiful and I laughed because a squirrel was above us in a tree running around. We were surrounded only by darkness, lampposts, the squirrel, and each other.

I had just agreed to go out with this guy and the next day, not even 24 hours later, my best friend kept bugging me asking if I kissed him yet during the time I was with him (which was only 1st period and passing period). So I guess my friend told him to kiss me after school and literally brought him over to me. I didn't even know what was going on cuz he just kissed me the moment I noticed him.

so it was the last day of school and we were all going our separate ways, and i was hugging this guy that i had been together with a few years back, and we hadn't really talked in forever.
anyways both of us were crying bc i told him that i might be going to another school, so we hugged for like a solid 5 minutes. i was ugly crying, and i said "god i must look horrible right now!" and he said "naw, you look beautiful"
and then I THINK he kissed me on the forehead. i honestly have no idea, it happened so fast.
