He was better than Duane Allman. Steve Howe and David Gilmour played console steel guitar for slide guitar and both could play the high notes. Otherwise Steve is the master of the Gibson Jazz guitar and David with the Fender Stratocaster.
Rod Price was a very underrated guitar player. Dave never lost his voice. Sounds as good in this recording as he ever did. Really miss this band. I literally wore out the first Foghat album
Lonesome Dave. Shred god. They were so good. You can teach just about anyone, how to read music. You can't teach soul. You can't teach feel. Can't teach attitude. It comes from within. If it didn't, every band would sound the same. Its what makes them so special. 👍

@@groovedohg You're welcome! I checked on Google also.
@@bluebird925 Deleted American. I also just found out this week that Foghat have a new Pre-order DVD (Released April I think) called Slow Ride LIve in Texas 1999. Looks like itis virtually the same track listing as Millineum Tour DVD which was also live from Texas (Houston). I dont understand why they have to wait this long to release the DVD and also why there is no more added information to put die hard fans at ease that this is not just another re-pressing of Millineum Tour etc.
@@groovedohg Awesome 👌
Amazing , gracias desde Perú
Thank you for posting
thank you Lord Jesus
Saw Foghat back up Blue Oyster Cult several times, always good live band
Nice how Louisiana Blues and It Hurts Me Too remained in the set from Savoy Brown days - they were both on the 1969 LP Blue Matter.
Blues rock rocks 🎉
They all are playing hot in these videos 🤘
They sound awesome ! Great band , it's ashame to see them playing in a f*ckin trailer . RIP DAVE AND ROD
I was always spinning Rock n Roll Outlaws Night Shift Fool for the City LIVE n the debut on the turntable n Savoy Browns One Step Further which Foghat essentially was😅
Pure. Rock. And. Roll.
Hey, i remember seeing the concert in october 2022, and it was different because in the video is shown how the band is preparing to start the concert and in Drivin Wheel is a little bit more of the intro recorded in the front row and that video doesn't had Louisiana Blues. But thanks for uploading the concert with Louisiana Blues, greetings and good luck
FOGHAT Kicking Butt
Rod Price was a great slide player way under rated
He smoked it on slide
All I can say is F YES!!
Return of the boogeyman tour? Thanks for posting. When I started listening to hard Rock in the early seventies it was Ted Nugent, Foghat and Aerosmith that was on my turntable most of the time. It seems like it was just yesterday!
Seen foghat alot in the mid 70s. You coukd get a ticket for $6.00 and a tee shirt for a few dollars.
Two band I never got to see: J Geils and the mighty FOGHAT! The ONLY Foghat (with DAVE)! 🎸🤘🏻❤️
Any musicians out there ? ? Do you hear anything missing or not as loud as other instruments?? Definitely a SOUNDBOARD PROBLEM , HERE . . . . FOGHAT/SAVOY BROWN IS THE SAME BAND . . . REMEMBER : 'STREET CORNER TALKING' ?? SAW FOGHAT IN 70'S AND MID 90'S . GREAT BAND . (S) .
None of the Foghat guys were on the Street Corner Talking album.
@@sharreetaylor861 Kim Simmons and the rest were on Street Corner Talking . I had FOGHAT autograph my Street Corner Talking c.d. in 1995 at the Mountain/Foghat Concert at COWBOYS BAR AND CONCERT VENUE . THEN THERE WERE ONLY TWO ORIGIONALS THAT SIGNED IT .

The bass can't be heard at all.
Dave's vocals should have been up higher as well.
Slide is great,but heavy.
Wore out the Rock& Roll outlaw record one summer
btw that's his original, heavily modded 50's LP Jr./Special doublecut [w/ PAFs] - used from day one on all the hits. the slow ride guitar. tuned to open e.
rod. fucking. price.
Yep, there are a bunch of old 70s photos out there. Same guitar. He also sometimes used his white SG for slide back in the day.
Rod Price blow your fkin mind 😁
No lonsome Dave no foghat !
