Carson, Man, just wanted to say Thank you for putting out these lessons. So Awesome to learn these songs and appreciate you teaching them! Santi Seattle/ WA
My neigbors suck. You’re as close to the mr guitar rogers as one could ask. Wish I had better people around me, but you’re the “best of what’s around” Thanks bud 🤓👍
Mason Herlihy great list. Those are probably my top favorite dmb songs in general. Difficulty wise I’d throw satellite and gaucho in as well. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for these videos! I started learning all these tunes about 20 years ago so I could sing them, knowing the arrangements were not correct, but it was what I could do at the time. Thanks to you and quarantining, I'm able to finally learn them correctly! For this one, I add a slight variation: on the verse, after the F power chord, I hold down the G and B strings in addition to the D on the 7th fret for a little more sound, and at the end of the "really matters" I walk down octaves on the E and D from the 5th and 7th, like in Jimi Thing, to fill it out a bit more. Keep up the awesome work! If you ever start tackling Cat Stevens' or Peter Gabriel's catalogue, I'd be interested! :)
Hey Carson. Your teaching style is phenomenal. After learning most Dmb songs from you, I challenged myself to learn this one in an hour today and i did it thanks to you. I seem to remember you posted a Venmo name at some point people could contribute to your channel. Feel like I owe you. Thanks again for all these lessons. Let me know how I can contribute.
Interested in your input. I've been playing it exactly like you have for years. I'm going to see Dave and Tim next week so I've been looking at tons of videos and BOWA is my favorite song. I don't think Dave plays the note in the chorus? (9:16) in this video the same way. He seems to play a chord with a small stretch. Would you check out a few videos and confirm? Never realized that. Like I said, been playing the same way for years
In the chorus Dave doesn't play the C#m as a barre chord twice. You can watch the Blockbuster video solo 1993 version or a 2019 version. Damn near 30 years he has played it the same and 99% of covers and publications have the chord wrong. Pumped to get this song under my fingers... I'm wondering though at 5:46 it sounds like Dave plays an A minor after "share" instead of the C major triad you are playing (2-0-1 on the DBG strings). But I don't know for sure
Yup Celeste, he does...did I not say that in the video? I like that little walk down for some reason and just decided to play it that way...and honestly thought I said that but that tutorial was a few years ago 😂
One of the greatest songs, at least lyrically in my opinion, in history. 🤗
Absolutely. This is one of my top 3 favorite songs of all time, lyrically and instrumentally.
@@carsonmac And the first song on his first album...how cool is that.
Carson your content is an absolute trove! Love how well you play, your teaching style, and just how chill this is.
Tanner, that’s so much brother! Really appreciate it man 🙏🏻

Thanks bud 🤓👍
Holy hell, dude I’m in heaven!
Top 5 best/most technically difficult song- BOWA, 2 step, Warehouse, tripping billies, and Minarets as my dark horse
Mason Herlihy great list. Those are probably my top favorite dmb songs in general. Difficulty wise I’d throw satellite and gaucho in as well. Glad you enjoyed it!

Mac this has changed the way i write my own music

FOREfinger is what he keeps saying, in reference to the index or "1" finger. I keep thinking he means my pinky "4" finger.
Haha, yeah I’ve tried to correct this in more recent videos. When I say FORE I mean FIRST 😂 sorry for the confusion
wow! nothing like this! Thanks! Have you ever some idea to make something to sell?
Do a tutorial for “Everyday” pleaseeeee
Have you done tutorial in acoustic version of "Come Tomorrow"?
Fantastic tutorial! Quality is great do you use a special microphone or camera to record?
Sure don’t! This was on my iPhone 8 actually...my newer videos are on an iPhone 11
@@carsonmac Wow crazy! Ty stay safe

You’re very welcome 🤘 this is my all-time fave to play btw
I always go raw
Carson, let's hear some singing, I know you sing it off camera
