Will Sedlak I remember having an old ass Dream Gear thing from like the 90s that had Color Dreams games on it. This looks okay compared to it lol
Will Sedlak I also have a malfunctional (AV port is broken) boxing thing from dreamgear that I got over 10 years ago, where the boxing game is on a cartridge that fails to read data from it within seconds, along with 20 "extra" games (such as the original Hitting Mices with Donkey Kong) that were played via a ripoff N64 controller of all things. And it's a wireless controller too!

Okay so I just found out that the music in the Bleb game is actually a complete rip-off of the music in the first level of Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers on the NES. The tempo's different and there are a couple different notes, but for the most part it's the same exact melody. It's even in the same key!
Wow! Thanks for pointing that out. I knew I had heard it somewhere, but the Wario Land song didn’t seem quite like it. I’m not sure why they would make a NES cover of a song that was already on the NES (it’s not like they made one that sounded better).

Dreamgear looks like a Frankenstein of other consoles.
The Controller is similar to the non Dualshock PS1 controllers but with the same button colour scheme as the PAL/NTSC-J SNES, the console itself looks like a Dreamcast, and its name is the unholy lovechild of the PlayStation, Dreamcast, Gamegear AND GameCube. What a mess!

the game 'tower' about an hour in: the assets are reeeeeeally wonky rips of an area called eos tower in maplestory. the more you know.
I still have yet to send Vinny my terrible plug and play system. I just have to get the controllers working, as the springs have gotten super rusty.

Vinny did you point the paddle at the controller? One of the controllers has an infrared port sticking out of the back (the thing that has an X on it). It looks like that's the way the paddle communicates with the console.

Here I am on the opposite side of the spectrum and bought a comfort grip for my Vita which arrived today, which serves its purpose but is ill-fitting since it was meant for the first-gen Vita. They are no Mad Catz by any standard, but I was surprised they made schlock like this "console."
I actually have a $250 headset from them. I sit here scratching my head at this because my headset is probably one of the best I've used besides the interference from my crappy motherboard.

these consoles are specifically made for dreamGEAR by some Chinese company (presumably Trump Grand Manufacturing Co.). I guess its a cheap and easy way to earn cash. You pay some company to make shit for you and then you sell it for twice / three times the manufacturing price
