Koh The meaning is an island
the names of islands The last syllable is the name of the island.
such as Koh Samui, Koh Kood, Koh Chang
Koh Chang is beautiful. It’s nowhere near as busy as the likes of Phuket and Samui, yet it still offers just as much as they both do. Now take an hour boat ride to Koh Kook and that is what I call paradise. Chang, Mak and Kood all benefit from not having a big influx of tourists.

I agree that Koh Kham has one of the whitest sand in Thailand. I visited there once many years ago when it’s still very virgin. The beach was very narrow back then because it was covered by a jungle that only a few camping tents are allowed. Thanks for taking me back there, I wish to revisit soon😃.

I am total agreement on all of the well deserved comments here Paddy. You have reached a new level in style, class andvideo making ability. A week ago I underwent a "Whipple procedure" to remove an Ampullary cancer tumor on a bile duct. Today I sit watching your beautiful video with hope of fulfilling my dreams of retuning to Thailand to stay and be with family and friends. Thank you for the invitation and warmth your videos have brought me. Oh and the results of my surgery are back clearing me of cancer. No chemo.

Hey Paddy. I spent a month in Thailand in February. I spent the first six days on Koh Chang to avoid covid before my second PCR. Left for BKK, and was planning on heading south. Then thought why?? Koh Chang has everything and is close to Bangkok. So I went back and stayed for the rest of the month. It’s was a good decision as I got to know the island well. I stayed in Kaibay as I got a luxury beach front room for 1000 baht a night and it was beautiful. I’m so glad you visited and loved it as much as me.

I'm trying to move to Thailand in August. Can't wait. Doing a tour with Big Bike Tours in October from Pattaya into Cambodia and finishing it off with the Motogp race in Thailand. So excited

This is is why i love Thailand when seen like this in all its glory ,and it's my fav video youv'e done Paddy .Looking at the clear blue sea reminds me of feeding the fish out of the palm of my hand barely waist deep in the water on Koh Tao ,truly magical ❤️I wish i could remember some of the names of the little islands ,and some you could walk around within 30 mins on the day trips i took over the years 🤦♂️And then out of the blue i remembered Koh Kham as you pulled up 🙏😊Thanks mate, bloody enjoyed this more than you could ever know 🙏❤️

Epic video Paddy. Well done putting this together. These islands are truly amazing and are a great shout for the most idyllic beach destinations throughout Thailand. Just Koh Kood to come now... You have created truly memorable moments in most provinces, something you can look back on and be proud of for the rest of your life. Especially given you have done it solo, such a challenge yet I think it is the only way to have achieved what you originally set out to do. Simply inspirational.

You have, single handedly, done more to promote Thailand as a destination than the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) ever has done. For your unpaid and unsponsored efforts you should receive Thai Citizenship as reward. Chok dee!
Exactly! The UA-camrs and Influencers TAT hired during COVID did absolutely nothing to showcase the beauty of Thailand. The entire website needs an overhaul by a person like Paddy. The people working for TAT don’t even know how to highlight their own country. It’s a real shame 😩 The other UK Influencer has never traveled this far in all of his 20+ years in Thailand. He just shows the same thing and fancy press trips sponsored by the government, resorts, and TAT.
Amen. I wonder if a single soul within the tourism board appreciates his effort. They should find ways to thank them.

i've been in Koh Maak 2 times, it's so quiet and real paradise, and been once in Koh Wai for 7 days .... just swimming, snorkeling and sleeping. such a wonderful islands

The scene with the tree in the rock where you fly the drone @ 5.55 minutes make me crack up for the "wanna be there rigth now" Thank you again Paddy for your work and is from France. I have fewer years to go then I'll be retired and planning to move out from France. I am French Polynesian, grow up in Africa, I've lived 26 yrs in Florida and of course time to time to France but Winters in here are killing me!! I will go visit Thailand and who knows may be a retired expat...

I just loved the story of the unfinished hotel. It's good it was C&Ded so the natures there isn't so much more spoilt than it should. To make it better, that ruin of the hotel just makes a perfect relic of the place, amazing.

When you find IT there are really no words. Amazing to see how relaxed you are. Take note of this. We have a tendency to find what we’re looking for and keep going anyway. Note to self: Koh Mak 6 months of the year; Paphos for another 3 months; and southern Crete for the last 3 months of a year. I had been to kho Chang few years ago, it was my first time to visited Kho Chang island , I didn’t know the area well so I stayed only at the hotel , the beach is very beautiful and layback, not as busy as a lot of others famous beach , I stayed at Emerald Cove hotel Koh Chang , the hotel is on a beautiful long beach , good for a long walk, but after I watch your VDO I finally got to educated more about Kho Chang , I didn’t know its had many areas to explore and the trip you took to see the island around Kho Chang is really amazing. thank you for sharing , I hope to go back to Kho Chang again and hope to explore more island.
Koh Chang and the archipelago around it is special. Thats why I made it one of my places to call home. Awesome stuff!
