Too faced really hasn't been doing it for me at all lately. It makes me sad because they really used to kill it.
I know what you mean! I feel like they need to take a step back from the Chocolate and Peach collections. I get wanting to take advantage of a popular line, but they can be so innovative so I would love to see something new!

I heard that L'Oréal bought Too Faced. That makes me nervous ...😯😕
If too faced wanted to do all of the wild bright colors, they could have done one whole palette with them and called it "chocolate and sprinkles" or something to tie it into the whole chocolate/food theme...

I honestly think that white chocolate palette is hideous. Too Faced has really been putting out disappointing products recently. I have the Jaclyn Hill palette and I must admit it is my favorite makeup product I bought so far this year. It is simply gorgeous.
I hear you! I feel like Too Faced has so much potential, but lately they are just missing the mark. Oh really?! It's such a beautiful palette and I was really impressed by all of the looks I saw with the palette.

Can we just take a second to appreciate Anastasia Beverly Hills for stocking enough of their Subculture palettes? 👏 (I’m looking at you ColourPop. 👀) I ordered hours later and I was still able to get my hands on it! 🙌 Will you be ordering it? (P.S. I’m still going to try to get my hands on the ColourPop Yes Please palette when it restocks on Thursday. 😂🤞)

I didn't get the palette but ABH gets so much respect from me for being so thoughtful. I did get the MorphexJaclyn palette by luck honestly. I went on the site and said if it was meant to be, it will happen and the transaction went smoothly. Honestly, I'm over stressing while shopping for makeup.
The KKW brand is way overhyped. No one wants to get on the Kardashians' bad side. Nothing unique and definitely not worth the price.
YES! I totally agree with you. I feel like there are enough things to stress out about in life and makeup shouldn't have to be one of them! That's awesome that you were able to get the Jaclyn Hill palette and it went smoothly. How do you like it so far? Also, totally agree with you on the KKW brand.

The Too Faced White Chocolate palette looks really ugly to me. Don't know why. But really really ugly :/

I'm very blunt so pardon be if you're offended but those too-faced palettes look so gross lol you can barely make any looks with them! I'm never spending money on a beauty blender in my life, with all these dupes at the drug store this poor college girl isn't spending $20 on a sponge. I don't like the colors in the morphe palette so I will not purchase it. I have the 35O S and M and that's all a girl needs lol also on the Kim cream color sticks are such a rip-off!! Sorry for the rant guys but I feel like if I was going to voice my opinion on any channel it might as well be on Andrea's where everyone will actually respect my opinion!
😂😂 Haha totally agree with you about the Too Faced palettes! They are seriously such weird color combinations. There are so many good drugstore options for sponges, so I don't blame you! I bought the JH palette as soon as I could on release day. It is the ONLY palette I've used in July. Totally worth the price. I really think you would love it. 😍

I'm not gonna buy anything that Benefit will be releasing in the future. I have nothing from their make up line.
You inspired me to go cruelty free; that's why now I always check if a brand is cruelty free before I make a decision to purchase anything☝🏻

There's no way I'm buying the subculture palette. I hate the colors in it! 😫 however, the Jaclyn Hill palette is FANTASTIC!

The colors are definitely different than I thought they were going to be! I was going to skip over it too but the swatches won me over. I'm so glad to hear that you are loving your Jaclyn Hill palette!

Passing on the Beauty Blender swirl, I like my real techniques sponge. Passing on the KVD glimmer palette. I love her shadows but the shimmery eyeshadow aren't something I really need.
Anything KKW or Kylie related... Strong pass ! Nope. Not gonna get my money! I dislike that family. I dislike what they represent.
Tracy Frederick I bought the KVD glimmer palette after reading all of these rave reviews on Sephora, and it is pretty, but I am honestly not wowed. I have been trying to decide if I want to keep it or return it. I have the original matte palette, so I wanted to complete the set, but meh. You aren't missing anything there!
The Real Techniques sponge is so good, so you're not missing out! Totally agree with you on anything Kardashian related. I can respect their work ethic, but I'm not into their brand. Thanks for sharing!

I know what you mean! I feel like they can be so innovative when they take their time but it feels like they are just pushing out releases left and right lately! I wish brands would just take a step back and really focus on something new and innovative!

I so agree! Brands are so focused on getting a new product out there to get hyped and get sales, and so we're getting a bunch of trendy crap products that won't stick around. I wish more companies would focus on good, staple products.
I will definitely be skipping all of these products as well. None of them really appeal to me as something I need and will get enough use out of. Love your videos! ❤

I love Jaclyn but the price in Canadian funds plus the shipping is so expensive that I cannot justify it! The KKW products are such a gimmick to me. On another note you look so gorgeous in that top! Xoxo

Juvia's place is sooo much more affordable and their pigmentation is out of this worlddd! You should definitely try them out cuz they are beautiful! My holy grail! And is also cruelty free!

Haha I can relate! I have been struggling with redness due to allergies lately and on those days I really have to avoid any red toned shadows!
The clover pallets seems cute but I don't think you can make looks with it it's more of a mixture of fun shades to make a look special. The white chocolate bar palette looks so dull to me they make me think of mud it's so lame!

Tbh too faced knows that people are essentially collecting the chocolate bar palettes at this point because they have cute packaging, they are probs trying to see if they can get away with creating a palette with random cheaper shades because they know people like collecting them and will buy them anyway

I love the Jaclyn Hill palette. It's sooo amazing and it blends super easily. That's coming from someone who can't blend much for too long (I have super sensitive eyes and it honestly hurts to blend too much, even with a light hand) and the colors are soooo vibrant. You can do an everyday look and a nightclub look, and both are stunning

I am skipping over everything high end because I don't have that kinda money but I'm a drugstore make up hoarder♡ one thing I won't buy though is the Milani foundation because I'm a pale girl and they don't make a light enough shade. I love milani products though.

There are SO many good drugstore products out right now too. I'm curious about that Milani foundation but I don't know what shade to get either. Does the lightest shade in foundation usually match you or do you find it to be a little dark?
They released 3 or 4 new shades recently. I know two of them are for pale skin girls.
Andréa Matillano most lightest shades in foundation works for me but some are still too dark. They did release some new lighter shades in the milani foundation but even the new lightest one is too dark for me. I like the chocolate bar pallete I know it does not really make sense but I have been experimenting with new pops of color and those colors seem great for that

I got the Jaclyn hill palette and might I say its one of the prettiest palettes I've ever seen/used, very beautiful shimmer shadows, and I usually don't like shimmers.

I will not be picking up any more warm toned eye shadow pallettes. The warm smokey eye looks look great but my sensitive eyes are irritated by those colors. I want a new pallette that is more cool toned (blues, greens, and purples). I'd really love to find a cool tone pallette for my green eyes

It clearly might just be me but I am quite intrigued by the new too faced palette. I mean I would agree that the placement of the eye shadows seems a bit off to me, but the shades seem really unique! Probably just me though😂😂
I've tried to purchase JH pallete twice on the site early both times! Site crashed when you refreshed at restock time, they charged people for more palletes then they ordered, they oversold product and cancelled peoples orders after and alot of people still haven't gotten their palletes from first launch! All this makes me weary of purchasing anytime soon.
That is seriously so frustrating! I wish brands could get it together when they have new product launches or restocks.
I bought mine from the second launch and received it Saturday! (July 29th) I agree the site crashed a little but it was still easy to get and they gave me 25% off my next purchase because of the wait. She announced that they would be making it a continuous thing and not necessarily a limited edition thing
I absolutely love your honesty! I feel like we have the same opinions on a lot of things. I can't stand when brands hype things up but don't have enough in stock or hold back. It totally turns me off to their products! So I totally agree!

Too faced needs to make a dark chocolate palette! Like honestly why did they make the bon bons before even thinking of a dark chocolate one?
I felt the same way about the Shade and Light powder contour palette. Why am I going pay all that money for powders I won't use. But if you go on Sephora or KVD you can buy the redills. I went to Sephora, swatched the contour shades, went home and ordered the contour refill and put it in a palette. Only $16. Felt like a drugstore purchase lol without all the waste of the products I won't use.

i want too faced to come out with a dark chocolate bar or a cherry chocolate bar palette, and have the shades be more jewel and red dark tones
One thing that I don't like about a lot of Too Faced palettes is that they lay the shades out in a very strange way. Sometimes I think that if they put the shades in a better order that they be more aesthetically pleasing and would make a lot more sense!

I like the look of the white chocolate bar palette because it's not just neutrals and browns like the last 3 chocolate bar palettes. I don't have any colours like these ones yet and I can see many looks you could do with it (I'm creative). I do think they should have done the original, the semi sweet, and then the white chocolate instead of the bon bons.
The Jaclyn Hill Palette is definitely 100% worth it!! They are all so buttery! And the shimmers are so pigmented as well as the mattes!!! I have it and it's the only palettes I've been using!!

I really love the black beauty blender more than the others. I totally agree with the reference of the product being much denser!
I purchase lots of eyeshadow palettes and the Jaclyn hill one is my absolute favorite! The color selection is so wide and there is a color for everyone. Pigmentation is so good and the shadows are v creamy.
For the white chocolate palette I was thinking that they would do more Taupes and pinky shades. A more cool toned palette. This was very disappointing and I really hope too faced understands what a let down this is and will postpone this launch for now and then come out with a different palette
I just bought the Subculture palette and I am so excited! I love cool-tone shadows, and it has some fun pops of color, so I think I'll get a lot of use out of it. I am also going to TRY to get the Colourpop palette Thursday, but I highly doubt they prepared again and they will be sold out in a minute.
I am NOT buying the Jaclyn Hill palette. I don't really understand the colors in it... It has all these bright colors but then warm neutrals. Eh... Too expensive for me to not get a lot of use out of it. I also agree with the Tarte foundation. I have seen so many horrible reviews on it for the price. I love Tarte though! I won't be getting the Smashbox foundation and contour stick or their radiance primer. I really just don't love foundation sticks. I have never found one that holds up well on my skin.

I don't know what it is about the formula but I have trouble with them lasting on me too. I LOVE the finish as soon as I apply them, but they don't stay in place all day long!
Andréa Matillano I hope you were able to get the Colourpop palette! It looks like they aren't selling out so quickly this time. I was able to get my hands on one! (And a new concealer and bronzer).
My boyfriend knew I had been eyeing the white chocolate bar pallette but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money on it so he got it for me for Christmas. And honestly I love it so much, the colors blend so well for me and it a lot of the colors go well together. I love the green on my lower lash line for a bit of color. I have medium/darker skin and I love how the colors brighten up my eyes.
The Natasa Denona palette is amazing! About the price, it has 15 shades for 129 if you do the math is about 8.5 per shade which is not bad especially for the quality and the colours range!
The black BeautyBlender is the pro version so it has a different texture than the pink one. I totally agree with you about Morphe. They don't have anything about being cruelty free on their website. If they were serious, it would be up there. There just being PC about that.
Makeup Fabulousness I actually just purchased the swirl Beauty Blender and I like it. I have had a original pink one for a couple years that needed to be replaced and I honestly think the two sponges feel and apply makeup the same.

Why haven’t Too Faced come out with a coffee palette yet..?
I get that its summer, so bright, warm colours are in, but I will continue skipping the Naked Heat, all the Too Faced, the Natasha Denona and the Kylie Cosmetics. On the Morphe palette, there's a whopping total of 4 shades that look nice.
Sometimes I end up so grateful when things sell out because I find I really didn't need it after all, like the J. Hill palette the Naked Heat,and the Nicol Concilio Violet Voss palette. Absolutely no to $129 eyeshadow palettes,I can't believe for a second I even considered it,but then Yes Please came around and I jumped on it! 💋💋💋

I love Jaclyn Hill but I am actually skipping her Morphe Palette. I am also skipping the Colourpop Yes Please Palette (I LOVE Colourpop) but instead I am going to buy the Violet Voss X Nicol Concillo palette and the Natasha Denona Sunset Palette. I am not getting any Too Faced Palettes but I just purchased their Ethereal Setting Powder and so far I love it. I skipped over the Kylie Vacation Collection along with the KKW Contour Sticks.
Both of those palettes look beautiful! I don't think I know about that setting powder! It sounds beautiful, so I might have to check it out now. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these products!
Anything by Too Faced, I'm gonna skip. They're rapidly coming out with new products. It's hard to keep up. I'm curious how much quality is going into the products. Seems more about quantity, than quality with them.

I got the Jaclyn Hill palette and I love it. It's so versatile. You can make such different looks.
I'm definitely getting that Smashbox set once it goes on sale! I can confirm from experience, their larger holiday palettes are as good as their normal quality makeup! The eyeshadow palette is so pretty to me. Their contour powders are my favorite! So I'd love that face palette for travel. I might give the transforming palette to my friend since i already own the Kat Von D Alchemist palette. And i would pass along the lip palette because i don't like lip palettes. But if they put it on sale for $39 like they usually end up doing, it would be totally worth it to me!! Also, you're not missing out on the Kat Von D powder contour kit. I know you like Smashbox for contouring and that's definitely the better quality route!
I used to love Too Faced. Their Rx Hangover primer is still a holy grail for me. However, they have been severely lacking lately. Ever since the issues they have had with the pigmentation of the Power of Makeup Palette and with stocking enough of Sweet Peach collection, they have been releasing very subpar products. They are just pumping out palette after palette. I think most people would like a build up to a product rather than one month you release a palette... two months later, another palette... then, your seasonal/special scent collection. It is too much! I hope they can get back into their groove soon because they used to be such a good brand.
I have the clover palette and love it . The colors are amazing AF . You can create multiple looks with the palette
I admit, I DO want the Clover palette and a newer peach palette and matte face products. That said, I do agree that Too Faced should just put out an all colorful palette. Urban Decay discontinued their Electric Palette and I'd love for someone to put out a replacement. I do plan on skipping out on the Anastasia Subculture Palette. I know it's something weird with me, but something about the combination of the colors chosen together makes me kind of nauseated. No idea why! I think it's that mustard yellow color. Also, the Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour palette is now available in individual shades. I never wanted to buy the full palette, but I might one day buy the individual shades that will work for me when I go through a few more contour shades.
you've actually convinced me to get the too faced clover palette and now i'm so excited for it!!!! i've been on a hunt for the perfect travelling palette for years now and I still haven't found even one that I think is worth purchasing, I ended up buying a shitty cheaper one which I can't wait to get rid of..but this is great quality, big mirror, nice strong packaging (and cute) and it has the shades range i'm looking for when buying a travel friendly eyeshadow palette: variety as in: neutrals, roses, brown/bronzers AND colorful selection, like more then one or two different colors, also of course a good setting, a good crease and a good browbone and tearduct highlighting shades...and I feel like this palette has it all, i just am scared to know the price...
I have in fact really appreciated and felt what you said about not feeling like buying incredibly expensive products and products that are pretty but you don't feel like you need it in your collection. I think splurging has a limit. I have enjoyed this kinda video, but I would have preferred you to skip the products that you are not buying for very personal preference as in you don't like to use cream products or certain colors versus just talk about thecnical reasons everybody can relate to when deciding to skip buying something. btw i'm not sure i have ever commented but i'm subbed to your channel and watch your videos since quite a while now and I really like your bubbly personality and your informative style as well as the fact that you show how beauty can amazingly apply to a fuller face like mine. I feel like palettes like the smashbox palette could be nice for like beginner makeup artists or something because it's super compact and has some nice colours to add to a kit but I would never buy something like that for myself
Too faced really does need to make a palette with tons of bright colors! They could do a row of neutrals but the rest can be bright colors!!
I for sure agree with the white chocolate pallet, I have the mini size white chocolate pallet, it is not the best! All the colors blend into each other and some do not even show up
Imo the white chocolate bar looks bland and randomly hideous ☹ The clover palette actually looks amazing though! especially when you section off every 2 columns together, you can tell how the colors make sense and compliment one another
I also prefer the black beauty blender more than the pink one and definitely over the red one.. I still haven't made up my mind on the Too Faced palettes.. they do look ridiculous.. I am still waiting for my Jaclyn Hill palette... I shipping is as much as the palette for Singapore.. I m crazy to have paid so much for shipping!! It better be good!
I actually really like the look of the too faced white chocolate bar. With eyeshadow I find myself gravitating to greens oranges pinks and purples so it just makes sense to me because it's what I like and what works. I'm just sad that too faced keeps pushing the chocolate line further and further because I fall in love but I'm allergic to chocolate
I love your honesty on not justifying a buy. So many influencers just throw recommendations for us. I love your honesty that you will have many uses for ND sunset but still would not buy it. I have it and I don't reach for it at all.
I feel like white chocolate bar was heading towards both colors and neutrals colors in just one palette .🤗which in my opinion is helpful for beginners!
What you said about the JH palette is exactly how I feel. I even didn't even try to get it when they restocked.
I'm so with you on the whole Morphe thing. I was going to get the JH palette because it looks really pretty but I can't stand all the nonsense with everything being hyped up and them intentionally not having enough stock or claiming it's sold out. I won't ever buy anything from Morphe again.

YES! Oh my gosh it's so frustrating when a company constantly does not have enough product to meet the demands. I wish they would just take a step back, manufacture enough, then restock them on the website! You will have to let me know if you end up grabbing the ABH palette. It looks beautiful, so I am looking forward to getting mine!
Andréa Matillano I honestly think Morphe does it intentionally. I'm not totally convinced that it does sell out. I think they say it is to keep people wanting it. There have been times that they "restocked" in 2 weeks. It definitely takes longer than 2 weeks to manufacture palettes. IMO Morphe is overrated in the beauty community. Great video and I agreed with your statements. I did learn last year that I am no longer buying combo pallets and i have finally finished decluterring the three I had this year. I had finished off or hit pan on the items I liked and then tossed. Its frustrating too try to get bluish out of a mixed pallet and the brush also picks up eye-shadow!
I completely agree when you said the white chocolate bar palette looks random. I'm a palette junkie and love toofaced for their cute packaging and the chocolate bar concept. But this time I can't even convince myself that the white chocolate bar is going to be worth it🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️I bought the natural love palette a while ago and was also very disappointed by the quality😥😥
I have oily skin and I love the Tarte foundation stick. I have no problems with it coming off but I do use Tarte's new smoothing primer and Urban Decay's deslick setting spray. Last for 12 plus hours.
I think the Tarte foundation was a smart pass. I have it, and I love it on my skin because most foundation makes me too matte - I like a little bit of sheen, and this foundation delivers that for me. For even slightly oilier skin, I don't imagine it would work very well at all.
Instead of the Natasha Denona, I've heard reviews that the Sephora Pro palette, the warm one, is similar.

The Yes, Please is $16. It is not full size pans. They dropped it las Thursday but I did not even get an email! I already have 2...1 is a gift. So if you want Yes, Please it is a decent dupe for the Natasha Denona pallette.
Would totally buy white chocolate bar palette. So glad to see something other than brown, 50 shades of brown!! How many neutral palettes does one person need?
