A lot of money in ARB gear. Approx prices in AUD (Australian dollars), Bull Bar, brush bars and steps ~$4.5k, rear bar with swing away ~$4k, rear drawers ~$2k, roof rack ~$1k, air locker diff locks ~$1.5k each. Plus fitting of everything....

You may be short of what the aftermarket fitout is worth lights $2500 for a pair let alone more and there will be more, radio and antenae$1300 (x2) exhaust for deisel or petrol $3k fitted, chipset $1500 fitted and tuned, lift shocks and airbags $4500 (??). Even in 1999 I was looking at $25k for a ex-aftermarket demo outfitted to touring spec and nothing has gone down. I have a 2001 1HD-FTE so all of the above + motor swap, paint top up, refurb interior, upgrade to 2013 dash and computer to suit new motor and chipset I'll be looking at $40k chassis up Galv etc and it will be better that 7/8ths of the aftermarket new 300's and be worth 460k at most and save me at least $60k just upgrading at that huge cost instead of buying new and aftermarket upgrades.

Whether or not he takes it offroad is really none of our business. It's his LC to do with as he pleases. It certainly gets driven a lot and that's cool in and of itself. But with the camping gear, I'd assume that he camps in the wild. Man, I'd love to have an ARB compressor and rear locker on my Tundra.
Heck, in '19, I was lucky enough to find an '05 Wrangler. 6 cylinders, 6 speeds just won't quit. Oh, and it has 75k miles on it.
I had paintless dent removal guy hit the hood. I then took my buffer to it and did a total paint correction job on what little paint there is on it. Kept the 3"lift and 1" body lift. Sold the rims and tires and put some fresh 15" black steelies with BFG 33 K02s.
I take it offroad and it gets plenty dirty, but then I clean the heck out of it. Mostly it's heavy Texas dirt, but very little mud. Personally, I think mudding is really stupid. Trails, rocks, hills, is where mine lives. Get it home and power wash even the tire treads. Frame, suspension, engine bay, you name it, gets detailed. I'm sure people think it's a mall crawler, but they'd be wrong! 🇺🇸

Yes, these trucks are very reliable, but it's not like you don't have to spend quite a bit to keep them going, especially as they age.
Mine has the Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro suspension lift, SPC uca, Metal Tech rear upper/lower links, extended sway bar links and on an on....I love it. It also has the Emu Wing rear gull wing windows. I might be selling it finally after 5 years.

@@Bosque2010 BS. They have a terrible reputation on Land Cruiser forums. Go hop on ih8mud, probably the largest run Land Cruiser and GX460/470 enthusiast run in the US. They have piss poor reputation on there and are a running joke. There have been quite a few forum enthusiasts burned by Kings Chariot after buying vehicles from them. I'll give KC one thing, they are very aggressive in buying Land Cruisers or GX's throughout the US from auctions and then dress them up with ARB and Dobinsons parts. I'm sure they have a strong team that scours facebook marketplace, CL, and auto auctions buying vehicles at bottom dollar and charging an arm and a leg for them. Also if you have been paying attention, every Land Cruiser in good condition has gone up in value over the past 2-3 years. KC's Land Cruiser is not the rule to this. I guess it only takes one person who either has enough money or is desperate enough to pay their prices.

They’re reputation is overwhelmingly positive all over the internet" - yeah, coming from you this means nothing. Your opinion is biased and the fact that you tried to speak about King's Chariot from a 3rd person just shows how scummy and dirty King's Chariot is. THANK YOU for proving my point.

@@Gazziza29 That’s usually all you find on a forum. Bunch of wanna be dealers and envious people with nothing they’ve built in the way of a vehicle or a business giving opinions behind a keyboard. I’ve been in the industry for years. I know all the top shelf dealers and I know the reps and mangers for ARB Dobinsons and ICON. Kings is as good as it gets and it wasn’t an easy road. Instead of getting your info from a forum where the qualifications for an opinion is enough money to buy a cheap computer and pick up the phone. Speak to industry reps who invest 100s of millions of dollars annually in the industry. Why would they post Kingschariot pics on their site and their Instagram if they didn’t have a high regard for their work and reputation. If our reputation was anything but stellar they’d stop selling to us. Almost every pic of a 80 100 and 120, 200 series on Dobinsons site is a kings chariot build. People who build and people who are berated in the industry are the only ones who know what it takes to be successful in the industry. Again you can quote me on this Kings has the best reviews on the internet and builds some of the best quality rigs with the best accessories AS seen in the video. This rig is an excellent example. Take care.

I love how none of this stuff looks like its ever been used , most of it has the stickers and tags still on it .
I really hope this guy plans on and actually uses this rig

No way the truck weighs 9000 pounds, stock it weighs about 5500 pounds, there is just no way he added about 4000 pounds in that.

They have a 1500 pound payload so he would be way overweight.

I'd say he'd be close to that sort of weight. All that gear adds up quickly. This guy certainly has all the gear and no idea. He'll learn the hard way if he actually wheels it hard. Here in Australia it's not uncommon to see heavy 100series at near 4t fully loaded, they are usually the ones that have problems outback. Better to keep them lighter at around 3.2t max.

@@SteveBurns80 indeed good luck getting getting a fully equipped rig within its gvm/gcm let alone a sane weight.

9000 lbs is not even close. Curb weight stock is 5100lbs and armor everything RTT, awning, drawers filled to the brim you're looking at maybe an extra 1500lbs. So 6600 sure but 9000?? No way in hell.

Scrub bars run from the bullbar down to the back wheels. They are almost as strong as rock sliders but are more for small rocks and branches etc Nice and tidy touring rig.

I own a 2003 land cruiser it has 380 klm V8 4.7 it has a two inch inch lift bullbar Tyers are coopers 285 x16 my mechanic has told me that I can drive around Australia without any problems my gas tank holds 140 liters never had any problems turn the key and go I am running high octane petrol I find that I get more klm per liter and more power as well if I run unleaded petrol I get less klm per liter and loose power

Good Looking LC: Ever since I saw the Range Rover went through Panama Darien Gap in 1972-1973 with stock tires and minimal to no lift I gave up the idea of big fat tires. Ander SPW also recommends to stay with close to factory size tires. Leigh on GrizzlynBear showed the consequences of having wider tires and spacers (with extra weight) to his Defender 130.

Everything brand new not a speck of dirt not a single scratch anywhere not a single thing customized or personally modified. I would be surprised if that truck ever even hit a dirt road. Looks like it's all for show. How American.

Overloading any vehicle with ARB products doesn't make them automatically the best 4x4 ever, not saying that's not cool but the equipment depends on everyone's specific use

They aren’t discontinuing the Landcruiser. A snorkel on a this version of a Landcruiser is pretty much a waste of money. I’ve been in three feet of water without one and it was fine, any more and it would be lacking power with the weight. Finally, he doesn’t have a quarter million miles, nice try! 225k isn’t there yet! For those of us that have far exceeded it, we are proud! Don’t brag about it until you’ve achieved it! Nice set up though. Would be curious to know more about your suspension. 33’s are pretty large, did you have to do a lot of cutting?
