This story is not in the same timeline as when Terra and Aqua are engaged. This is a different story.

Oh, I really like this! I don't think I've seen anyone really address the insecurities Elrena might currently have concerning the whole lifeboat thing, how she really wasn't "supposed" to have been saved and then proceeded to become an absolute menace in the future. Come to think of it, it's kind of surprising no one else has touched on how it probably made her feel, considering how she outright stated that she didn't think she had a right to a lifeboat...which is super messed up when you think about it--a literal child is having the world fall apart around her through no fault of her own, and though there's an escape five feet from her, honestly believes she doesn't deserve to LIVE! Clearly some deep-seeded self-loathing issues already, which the following years didn't help. So, yeah, long rant to say, I really like how you're diving into different aspects of Elrena's character that we don't get to see often, how the lives she's lived before influence who she is now. I also like how you related it to Aqua's situation, and how they were both able to help each other. Super excited to see where you take this in the next part!
