I agree with Xion that holding a grudge against Riku is not worth it (that'll be Sora's job, I trust him to be unbiased enough to let karma/chaos to be fair on the white haired boy). But DiZ has it coming. And it's not as if he's particularly durable, or as if karma is available to handle him properly. There HAS to be someone from the returned who's willing to do the job for her and Roxas. To support them. A second chance is about meaning and self-value. Revenge IS too. Like Dipper said, it's underrated, because some people don't manage it well.

I see the relationship between Sora and Riku, the same way I see Christine/Strange, and early Tony/early Pepper. They have feelings for each other, but Riku always has always to hold the knife, especially when Sora or Kairi are involved. Sora respects him for it, but he doesn't feel ready to love him for it. And before anyone says Sora does the same, he's not the one whose lines in the novels idealize his lover to the point he thinks he has the answer to everything, including the origin of existance. Plus, Sora doesn't WANT to hold the knife. He'd rather help others get the knife. He just doesn't want others to suffer for it.

"Master" Aqua was trapped on the Dark Realm for 11 years, and lost her fight to darkness because of self-repression, along with the fact she never defeated other Wielders and warriors on her own, always needing help. "Master" Riku goes with his instinct mostly, and I hardly see any correction towards him. MoM was right. The title is as worthless as it comes. And that's a problem, believe it or not. Because then, who are we trusting to teach the new generation ? P.S: I recently learned of implied proof Terra was supposed to have been the one chosen for masterhood. Implications, I know, but profiling suggests some truth to it.
