"When [Utopia] was released in Duel links, there was one other Rank 4 XYZ monster in that set." Not true, you forgot Stellarknight Delteros and 2 Bujintei monsters
I think (discussion in the previous replies aside) he was going for "Generic Rank 4" - i.e. Rank 4 requiring only 2 non-specific Level 4 monsters. Ah, Utopic Draco Future, as now its called the new Ghostrick boss monster (or any rank 1-3 spam deck). Thanks to its new coming support, it can be summoned with just 1 card (that you can just search with Ghostrick Angel) as long as you have 1 Ghostrick XYZ out on the field.
I had just watched a video on the Utopic archetype and I was thinking "now I really wish that there was a top ten of Utopic cards". And then I saw this...
Dragonar/Dragner is worth mentioning since it allows you to summon almost any number like Numeron Dragon, Leo Utopia Ray is also very useful for facing competitive opponents and I know Utopia The Lightning is not as high on the list as back then but it's still my favourite because if you can make it to the point of declaring attack, you are allowed to activate as many quick effects that can create an otk like Action Magic - Full Turn and Honest
I really like ZW-Pegasus twin saber. Being able to negate an opponents monster effect on the field during either turn is pretty good, and it gets the added benefit of not being an activated effect, so it can even negate something like the effect of accesscode taker.
Really good list, the monsters on it were definitely at the right places, but you did miss quite a few cards. Probably because they we're only announced recently, and that could conflict with writing the script for the episode.. The first card that should have been on the list is Leo Utopia Ray, which can be summoned from utopia double, then equip from the deck a copy of Pegasus Twin Saber. Pegasus twin saber is an on field monster negate that doesn't activate, and Leo can negate a monster effects by targeting a monster on the field. Not the best kind of negate, but it is a permanent one. Another card is Utopia Dragner When using Ascended Sage, you can search Hyper Rank-Up-Magic Hope Force, which can make a utopia/Utopia prime into Dragner, and if you go into prime, it has 4 materials. Which means that it can summon 2 Xyz monsters from the extra deck. Which can include Number 38, and Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon. Since Dragner is a quick effect, you can do this when they set 4 pass and go +3 in card advantage. The last card is probably the main combo extender, ZS - Utopic Sage. Generic materials, and it can detach 2 to search Ascended sage, and is a non-number monster, so it can also be used to go into Utopic Future. Another is Utopic Astral Hope, which is basically a monster version of Construction, and searches the other half of the deck. The last card is Xyz Change Tactics. You Xyz Summon a Utopia, pay 500, draw 1 card. And no OPT.
I'm completely surprised why TheDuelLogs didn't mentioned Utopia Dragner. It can special summon ANY Number monster from your Extra Deck. If you also have Zexal Field Spell, you can (Quick Effect) SS King Overfiend & add Djinn Buster to it as a XYZ material, thus preventing your opponent to activate monster effects. It's basically recreating the infamous Azathoth combo.
There are also Leo Utopia Ray, Astral Utopia, Astral Kuriboh, Utopic Sage, and Hope Force to name a few more not mentioned but I am guess the reason for that is because they aren't released in the tcg yet
@@mohammadmurie The DuelLogs mentioned other cards that weren't added to TCG back then (Red-Eyes Dari Dragoon for instance)... Utopia Dragner is much better than all cards TheDuelLogs said except Utopia Zexal.
@@abuhassan8849 yeah true and those cards are still good and better than most of the cards mentioned like utopic sage allows you to follow on ss ascend sage straight from the deck And look at the others So I don't know then
@Supreme King very very consistent as you just need 3 level 4s or a level 4 and ZS Ascend Sage And there are cards that searches out your onomats or a cards that searches the spell that searches 2 onomat monsters Or you can just go 2 level 4s go into Double then Leo use Leo's effect to equip Pegasus to get 2 monster negates at the very least
The -1 of Zexal costruction is actually beneficial in some cases. If you draw double or nothing (and is mandatory to search it with utopia double to activate the effect) you can just shuffle into the deck, same thing with zw Pegasus twin saber, that you don't want to have in the hand because ultimate leo utopia ray equip it only from the deck and not the hand.
8 - In case you were wondering, yes, this is a derpy anime reference. Actually not, since this is a reference to the Zexal _manga._ That one got *weird* with its numbers.
Not to mention it was 2501 ATK and had you pay LP until you only had 1 left instead of 10. I actually think Raidraptor - Readiness was the first card in the anime to reduce their LP to 10 instead of 1. As for why they changed it to 10 irl, my best guess is that Konami really doesn’t want attack values that aren’t multiples of 10 in order to keep the LP calculations simple.
@@michaelnelson1127 2 things: 1.) No; _actually,_ the first time we got to 10 was _way_ back in Waking the Dragons. Yami Yugi took 2900 damage and lost...except he didn't, because he played "Reduction Barrier" which reduced the damage to 10%. 300 - 290 = 10. 2.) The really wacky thing was the duel Yuma was going to start with 2000 fewer LP, to donate to Kaito and Shark who were going to die in their own duel if their LP hit 0. He gives each of them 1000, they got a couple turns. Upon seeing his commitment to save them, Astral insists on actually giving up two thousand and TWO LP, so they'll each have 1 extra LP, for one extra turn. Yuma starts off that duel with 1998 LP.
First, I actually forgot about that duel (I think it was the Rafael rematch?), but I was saying that Readiness was the first card that listed reducing your life points to exactly 10 instead of reducing them to 1. It may not have been the first actual instance, but it was the first deliberate instance. Second, I already knew about the giving 2002 life points thing, and the fact that the one-life-point connection is what caused Utopia Prime to manifest, and yes, it was completely wacky. On a side note, I’ve actually thought of chaos forms for the Embodiment numbers where they’re summoned to opposing fields when their base forms are destroyed, they use other monsters as their puppets for battle (i.e. reviving other monsters, equipping themselves to them and forcing them to battle), and the winner takes massive damage. They’re meant to fit with level/rank 1 decks since they’re usually not too powerful, so when they’re destroyed, it backfires on the opponent. Granted, the text would be a bit word-saladish due to explaining the specific scenario as well as explaining all the protection they’d both have themselves and grant the equipped monster (since it wouldn’t be fun if the opponent could just Kaiju or Zeus them away), but they’d certainly be a unique pair of monsters. Sorry if the comment was too long.
7:33 it actually got me into gold rank in omega due to being able to out dragoon and other boss monsters after I baited out as many negates as possible and given forbidden droplets it wasn't too hard to get it live and hand me some solid wins. i feel it's more an example of people giving up older strategies rather then standing by them.
@@lambsaucefinder7407 I'm forgiving of older cards that are Fiend type being called Beast - the OCG name for Beast of Talwar for example is Talwar Daemon. Since Beast can be synonymous with demons (e.g. "Mark of the Beast"). Same goes for The Masked Beast being Masked Demon Beast, and The Wicked Worm Beast... wait, no, that one is actually Beast type and is titled Beast in the OCG, despite looking like actual hellspawn and the next step to Parasite Paracide's OCG art.
Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray is the best for pure utopia decks. He can hit 30K ATK with Double or Nothing and Shining Draw which is pretty funny, but you have a ton of different effects with easy to search ZW equips, you can get protection and targeting immunity and a card that protects all your ZW cards.. If you get a search off Armed Sage and get a material on him you get at least 2 equips and if your drawing with XYZ Change Tactics the LP requirements on some of them isn't an issue. Dragonar is amazing but is more generic.
I love the fact that every Utopia monster has some use, heck even C39 Ray has pulled me out of tough situation. S39 Prime is usually my "oh God they can Pendulum card".
I enjoy seeing this because Number 39-Utopia was my (as well as many others') gateway into XYZ summoning. I'd love to see a couple of Top 10 lists for "Cards that steals LP from the opponent". By that I mean "Effects that raise your LP by the same amount your opponent JUST lost upon resolution, regardless of how."
Yeah same here as well as Utopic Sage, Astral Utopia, Astral Kuriboh, or Hope Force but I guess it is for the same reason or because they aren't released yet in the TCG but I wonder if DuelLogs did include them what place would they have taken and how many of them would have to be cut But honestly, the Utopia archetype has lots of amazing cards so this list could have been easily top 30
I know Dragner is currently OCG exclusive only, bu i think that card, ZEXAL Field, and maybe Rank-Up Magic ZEXAL Force deserve a mention among best utopia cards
As well as Leo Utopia Ray is 2 monster negates, Utopic Sage special summoning Ascend Sage straight from the deck, Astral Kuriboh for being a free body, and Astral Utopia for searching the rest of the card not searched out but zexal construction while also being able to special summon itself while an xyz monster on field
I had no idea how to summon utopia the lightening, but now I know you can just use a utopia monster with materials for it. Here I thought I had to use a rank up card or something to summon him. Thanks
Have you done top 10 “x type of monster” with non-generic materials yet? Could have one list for each of synchro, fusion, xyz, link. Reason being because I notice that having generic materials is such an advantage that they tend to fill up most slots unless the subject of the vid is really specific. Another thing is that I think it’s good having an internal ban list but for people not in the know like myself we aren’t able to tell whether the cards on the list truly are the 10 best/worst or if there are cards that would be there but aren’t because they appear too often. Would be nice to have like an honorable mentions but for cards that are on your channel forbidden list where you just quickly list the cards that would be there at the end. Hope that makes sense. Top 5/10 monsters that can’t be tributed. Top 10 continuous spell/trap cards
Utopic monsters can be on one of the best deck monsters . You can have onomatpea and Gaga or dodo or gogo etc. And you have utopia on the field easily . Then have zs sage cards that can add other zs or zw or the card mentioned in the video to add rank up card .also most zs monsters can be special summoned from hand with little requirements. Then add zw Pegasus and zw dragon to hand . Rank up your utopia monsters and then equip the the above cards and then add a equip card that destroys spell/trap and cannot be negated in the battle phase start (forgot the card name) . Then equip any spell card that prevents destruction of your utopia monsters . And you can also use noble knights in the deck for the equip cards . And you can setup your side in less than three turns and you are done. You can also use stellarknights and maybe otherwarrior cards to balance your deck . There are so many support cards for utopia and they are all easy to summon and use and you can use Gaga or dodo cards to get level5 6 78 or more so you literally can summon any other xz monsters easily.

Video ideas: 1- top 10 cards that combat the dragon type/ a specific type. 2- talk about the problem of the unfair advantage that players gain when they go first and how that can be fixed, maybe top 10 going second cards/anti meta cards. 3- top 5 decks to not make tier 0 (I know you don't like this type of videos, but the one you made was very successful)
Utopia Dragonar, and Hyper Rank Up Magic Utopic Force definitely earns a place in this list since it’s a great target for HRUMUF, can XYZ summon any Number monster with ease, and with Zexal Force it can give that summoned target XYZ material.
Utopia Kaiser gets a funny spot, For being able to cause some hilarious RankUp Shenanigans, Pulling out something like Diablos, Just to rank up into D/D/D Kali Yuga, with the Phantomknights rankup, or pulling out Draglubion, to rank up into TKCalamities
Utopia being the intro to XYZ summons is definitely what contributed to people not wanting to use XYZ monsters. Many of the first waves in the beginning were terrible cards when compared to synchros. There’s very few decks that I even use XYZ cards still. Cause it was so traumatic of an intro. 😂
When I came back to the game, I couldn’t believe that people were confused by Pendulum summoning when the rank up mechanic was always way more confusing
You should to a top ten revisions list where you got back on some previous lists and add monsters that would fit the criteria that have come out since the video was uploaded.
Xyz Change Tactics is, like, *the* main consistency booster of Rank 4 Burn FTK (using Galaxy Wave for damage). Utopia into C or S39: Utopia, then another Utopia into C or S39, then into Utopia Kaiser draws 5 cards for 2500 LP... or +4 card advantage (treating the initial draw as going hand neutral, and also ignoring the inherent minuses in Xyz summoning making it more like a +2 or +1). Which can go even further into a Utopic Future Slash, alongside a third Utopia into C or S39 into a second Future Slash, into a second Utopia Kaiser to draw another 3 cards. (Drawing 8 cards total, or +7; again, ignoring inherent minuses) From there you can always start looping cards with Daigusto Emeral (for example) to just turn it into endless drawing as long as you have the LP to pay for it. And now with Utopic Astral Hope it even has a Level 4 Warrior monster that can special summon itself from the hand to search it.
(To further explain how this results in the Galaxy Wave FTK: If you get Galaxy Wave early in the combo that is 500 damage per Xyz summon, or more if you get more than one, which can easily be capped off with Zoodiac Barrage - or 2 Level 4 monsters into Zoodiac Chakanine - to go into the four currently unbanned Zoodiac Xyz monsters for 2000 damage per Galaxy Wave... which then can be used as material for Future Slash to set up another Utopia Kaiser to draw yet another card, or go into Utopic Future to end on a Utopic Draco Future. Though at this point Extra Deck space becomes non-existent.)
Top 10 card that "aged like wine". The card that were decent or even maybe bad when they released but then become stronger over the ages because of meta rather than they got supports. Like "Maxx c" maybe?
So, I have a friend that uses an utopia deck, before one of my main decks came out (Despia), I never won against that team just cuz of how easily some of the boss monsters can be summoned, (also cuz of his insane luck of getting all the rank ups when he needs them), but now, with my Despia deck I almost won, we had a tie, hoping that next time I'll win
I really wish they'd print more XYZ monsters like ZEXAL because I really enjoyed using the Numeron engine in Time Thieves and Subterrors. Its a pity that the only other Rank 0 monster don't let you use Number monsters because Numerons have very little they can do turn 1. You can get a free link 4, but that's not the most impactful thing these days even with Appolusa
Imo if drident didn't get banned draco future would've made huge waves when it first came out considering the fact it didn't do much when it was fiannly given to us in the TCG

Top 10 Worst Cards to Instant Fusion, that actually have effects? Don’t think that one’s been covered before
I really like ZW-Pegasus twin saber.
And no OPT.
Did you know that Utopia was by far the most protagonist Ace monster to be summoned in the anime at a Tito’s of 43 times.
Number F0 Utopic Draco Future (mentioned S0 in the list) is one of the best card.
After this video the word "utopia" doesn't even has a meaning anymore
I refuse to call him utopia his name is aspiring emperor hope
Him name is Number San-Jū Kyu Kibou O Hope
XD
But Hope is a GIRL's name! Ugh!
I always shout that when I summon him LOL
@@mateusrp1994 Is that why they changed its name? Lmao
I'm still calling him "Hope" lmao.
Can't change my mind about that.
@@abuhassan8849 yeah true and those cards are still good and better than most of the cards mentioned like utopic sage allows you to follow on ss ascend sage straight from the deck
And look at the others
So I don't know then
@Supreme King very very consistent as you just need 3 level 4s or a level 4 and ZS Ascend Sage
And there are cards that searches out your onomats or a cards that searches the spell that searches 2 onomat monsters
Or you can just go 2 level 4s go into Double then Leo use Leo's effect to equip Pegasus to get 2 monster negates at the very least
@Supreme King yeah that can be potentially one of the ways to use Utopia
@@michaelnelson1127 2 things:
1.) No; _actually,_ the first time we got to 10 was _way_ back in Waking the Dragons.
Really surprised dragonar, or Leo utopia ray didn’t make the list, just due to their abilities
Utopias are my absolute favorite thank you for doing this
Same here I love this archetype
@@mohammadmurie I know everybody harps on zexal bur i loved it and utopia
@@iv5480 Yeah same here they are very underrated IMO
The Neos and Neospacian friends are one my favorite in terms of design and concept but they are crap to use in competetive battle🤣
Suggestion: Top 10 best/worst monsters named "Beast" that are not beast, winged-beast or beast-warrior type
Off the top of my head: Some of the Gladiator Beasts, (Spi)Ritual Beasts and Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon come to mind.
Beast of talwar
I'm really loving these archetype specific top 10 videos. I would love to see a top 10 video for the Red Dragon Archfiend archetype.
If anyone was wondering, the "S" in S39 means Shining.
edit: ZS also means "Zexal Sage".
What "ZS" means?
@@emiliomattplatinum3435 zexal sage
I've just gotta say I've been lurking around this channel for a while now and your videos have always been super interesting and relaxing.
I love the fact that every Utopia monster has some use, heck even C39 Ray has pulled me out of tough situation. S39 Prime is usually my "oh God they can Pendulum card".
Love Utopia, it's probably my favorite protagonist signature monster.
Lightning has helped me so much due to your opponent not being able to activate anything until AFTER the damage step
Top 10 Xyz monsters of all time? (Including banned ones)
Great video as always!
Finally a video on my favorite card
My favorite archetypes are heros and utopias, both have some similarities, hopefully we will get some new supports for them to be viable in meta again
Surprised no Leo Utopia Ray or Utopia Dragner but I guess they're still too recent and OCG only.
Yeah same here as well as Utopic Sage, Astral Utopia, Astral Kuriboh, or Hope Force but I guess it is for the same reason or because they aren't released yet in the TCG but I wonder if DuelLogs did include them what place would they have taken and how many of them would have to be cut
But honestly, the Utopia archetype has lots of amazing cards so this list could have been easily top 30
Well this is top ten of utopia not the archetype video. Although it would be interesting for duel logs to make videos about archetypes.
@@mohammadmurie This also considers the competetive scene so very recent released cards really wont be easily on the list.
@@bismarckimperia8781 yeah fair point maybe we can get a part 2 to this video now that several months has gone by?
Thanks
some guy summoned like 5 utopias with negates against me first turn but I had evenly matched and triple tactics talent in hand, gg lol
Speaking of Utopia, I would like to see who's the best "Number" XYZ monster in Yugioh, could a top 10 "Number" XYZ monsters be a good idea?
*insert all banned listed number monsters
Shock master, utopic zexal and rhongomyniad when it comes to the tcg
When it comes to their anime version utopia beyond, heraldry crest and well shock master again
Top 1 would be utopic zexal again lol
Damn awesome list. I’m sure the writer was great 👀👀
As a recent fan of Utopia decks, no love for Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray?
I burst out laughing every time someone tries to negate the effect to equip a ZW from deck or extra deck when it's an effect that cannot be negated
Concept for a vid: top ten protagonist ace forms!( Starting: utopia) i mean since you did mention some utopia upgrades i wouldn't be surprised if uou ranked them too
Video ideas:
1- top 10 cards that combat the dragon type/ a specific type.
Utopia Leo ray or whatever it’s called it hands down my favorite.
Glad you did this one, I asked it a while back 😁👌🏼
Utopia Kaiser gets a funny spot, For being able to cause some hilarious RankUp Shenanigans,
Pulling out something like Diablos, Just to rank up into D/D/D Kali Yuga, with the Phantomknights rankup,
or pulling out Draglubion, to rank up into TKCalamities
Utopia being the intro to XYZ summons is definitely what contributed to people not wanting to use XYZ monsters. Many of the first waves in the beginning were terrible cards when compared to synchros. There’s very few decks that I even use XYZ cards still. Cause it was so traumatic of an intro. 😂
I think this is the first time I've ever heard/seen you mention Lunalights
They're my favorite
When I came back to the game, I couldn’t believe that people were confused by Pendulum summoning when the rank up mechanic was always way more confusing
What’s confusing about it? You just take a monster of a certain rank and place it over a monster one rank higher.
💗💗💗💗 gran vídeo del number de la linda derpy hooves 😍😍😍 previo a que utopía saldrá en ultimate en el.siguiente otc >w
Number 39 utopia summed up: And this.. is to go even further beyond!!
Top ten cards consistently brought out in different ways
There is nothing better than to see u in vtuber comments and then watching yugioh vids from u 🙏
I'm surprised nobody made a reaction to one of your list videos to agree or disagree
You gain 1250 off of Utopia beyond because in the anime you can get half of Utopia’s attack as life point gain
Neat list video! Thanks for uploading!
Been waiting for this
I think utopia dragonar and utopia double do deserve the top 10 spot in my opinion
You should to a top ten revisions list where you got back on some previous lists and add monsters that would fit the criteria that have come out since the video was uploaded.
Rank 6 Utopia Beyond: no. 6
Rank 5 Utopia The Lightning: no. 5
Level 4 ZS Ascended Sage: no. 4
Rank 1 Utopic ZEXAL: no. 1

Next: Top 10 Shark cards
Been waiting for this ngl
Top 10 Rank-Up Magic Cards would be cool :)
Don’t know if it saw competitive play, but I thought Xyz Change Tactics was pretty nuts
(Drawing 8 cards total, or +7; again, ignoring inherent minuses)
From there you can always start looping cards with Daigusto Emeral (for example) to just turn it into endless drawing as long as you have the LP to pay for it.
Kinda bummed utopia Ray victory wasn’t on the list but still great vid dude.
7:53 no you must have no cards in your field
Im sure that some one mention that i just wanted to leave a comment
I hope you do Top 10 most expensive yugioh cards used competitively
This just reminded me of the time when people hated Utopia the Lighting for being too generic and be able to kill any beatstick
The Chaos MAX slayer
Still would love the see a top 10 lightsworn cards
Top 10 card that "aged like wine". The card that were decent or even maybe bad when they released but then become stronger over the ages because of meta rather than they got supports.
Like "Maxx c" maybe?
So no.1 is grinder Golem again?
So, I have a friend that uses an utopia deck, before one of my main decks came out (Despia), I never won against that team just cuz of how easily some of the boss monsters can be summoned, (also cuz of his insane luck of getting all the rank ups when he needs them), but now, with my Despia deck I almost won, we had a tie, hoping that next time I'll win
That's not the Six Samurais video we deserve! :(
I really wish they'd print more XYZ monsters like ZEXAL because I really enjoyed using the Numeron engine in Time Thieves and Subterrors.
Top 10 onomat cards
(Gagaga,dododo,gogogo,zubaba cards)
