on my first day of doing actual work i screwed up by showing them i was a good worker because now they assign me to do so much crap that i literally have little time to even take a sip of water in a 6 hour shift......i've only been at the warehouse for 2 months now and i'm already outworking the vets. hope to get full time status soon for busting my ass but i feel like this is just another workplace that doesn't care about good employees.
I thought I wanted the hours until I realized I’m nonstop picking up heavy ass packages and having to watch and maintain 3 trailers to make sure they don’t get backed up. I only have time to take a sip of water just because if I don’t I’d faint lol I hate it. My feet are bruised it’s really bad.
Just a couple questions.. Did they give you had FedEx sweatshirt or did you buy it somewhere? Either way it’s looks great on you. And did you say the shift is only 5 hours? Cus I’m thinking about getting a second job.. And I don’t blame u about the badge,I would press them to cus having a badge makes it ligit 😂

Females don't have to fill the entire trailer... I used to do 2 trailers by myself and have to jump in a female trailer to completely finish it while she go home.
You usually have to handle mattresses and furniture but the idea is not to lift, but rather stand them up and drag or walk them on the corners as if you were slow dancing with them. They will come down a belt or rollers so you just tip them over the edge to stand them up.
Been working for like a week I can say nobody really gives a damn as long as you come in and work for a paycheck slaving in a hot ass warehouse lol
That’s a good thing you get along with your coworkers because warehouse folks can be the worst!

I work at Amazon in the mornings as FedEx in the evenings!! 😊
If y’all can work for the post office if y’all looking for a career and great benefits I hated it there but I loved the job
I work as a package handler for Fedex In GA. People quit all the time and we work 6-7 hours average the longest we’ve worked was 10 hours on IC day.
Lucky, here in wa we only get 4 hours and if we’re lucky 4 1/2 hours😐

I think fedex is coming around but they still have some issues that needs to be addressed and corrected.

Hi! So I am unsure about part time hours. I can say I work full time and I get anywhere from 3-7 hours depending on the load :)
How many breaks do you get working an 8 hours shift?
No breaks what so ever. But you’ll rarely work that long if at all.

They don’t give proper interviews. If you are invited to orientation you got the job and will more than likely be on the dock that next day or so
