Amazon Fresh Grocery is still the best. But much lower pay and fewer hours after covid. Management want to double the volume. Still better I guess. Most ppl seem happy over there. Alot of older or slightly disabled people there. Lately there has been alot of heavy work load in the summer. Not worth the lower pay.
I used to pickup Amazon Groceries from the warehouse & Whole Foods when I worked with Amazon Flex delivery. Amazon is always trying to get more volume out of their workers as possible. lol Thanks for sharing your experience.💯
I started working at Amazon a month ago. It seems too good to be true. It feels like a trap. I'm still trying to figure out what's the catch. I worked for many warehouses including Pepsi, Raleys, Costco, and Macy's logistics to name a few. Real warehouse men know Amazon is cheesy compared to real warehouse work, but there has to be a catch........🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Once you been there a year. They’ll start trying to make you work more, than say you gotta make rate. Ans try to find ways to make you quit or fire you.

Quick question I have training this Monday do I need to bring anything and do you think I can bring my phone in because I don’t have my license yet and my brother has to pick me up after
I worked at FedEx Ground for about 2 years (3 months full time), Amazon for 3 months (full time). Pay: Amazon ($17.90 vs $17 full time... though at Amazon I was weekend overnights, FedEx was 1pm-10pm) Benefits: FedEx (As a college student, otherwise Amazon) Scheduling: FedEx (More flexible. I quit at Amazon because they wouldn't let me change my schedule) Time Off: Amazon (The app is great. Personal time is huge. Never called off at Amazon so I'm not entirely sure, but FedEx is chill with it) Work Conditions: FedEx (Neither have controlled climates. Amazon's crazy strict with numbers, FedEx is more chill) Culture: FedEx (Depends on the building... one FedEx was a terrible vibe while one FedEx was pretty chill. Amazon was a hellhole) Overall: FedEx
I like how you broke that down in the different categories. I will give the edge to Amazon but I was not a college student when I work at both locations. Thanks for taking your time out & commenting bro! 👍💯
I worked at Amazon for a year at the warehouse not the fulfillment center it was a great experience worked 10 hour shifts for 4 nights starting pay was 15$ but my pay became 18.50$ due to working on weekends became a blue badge in a month and an asc in 6months if your new and out of high school I recommend Amazon cause of the 5000$ pay for classes each semester on them met some nice people at Dmi5 hope my journey with fed ex goes well.
Ok what about for the ladies? I don't want to break my back. I don't mind working but I am not a man and not trying to be one. So what's easier for us?
There was probably more ladies at the warehouses I've worked than men. They have a lot of positions that you don't have to lift heavy packages. The main thing to consider is that these jobs require you to do repetitive work. That could tire you out over time. Make sure not to accept loading or uploading (dock) positions.
Which do you prefer, FedEx or Amazon? Let me know your opinion* Forgot to Add: FedEx do NOT drug test but Amazon does (oral swab test)..... Hope this help someone 🙂
@@jrap2452 I actually currently work in the Fedex warehouse and I’ve never been drug tested but when applying for Amazon you definitely have an oral drug test.. But No Fedex DOES NOT Drug test.. you just have to pass the background check! Hope this clears up any confusion
@@jrap2452 Is she a driver? Or another sort of worker? Driver is one thing. Of course they need to be tested. A urine test for warehouse workers sounds excessive. But maybe they do that too.
Oh man now I’m second guessing myself haha! I just filled out my background check for part time at FedEx, should I try to get a better offer from Amazon while working at FedEx? Or is it not worth it?
To me it just depends which one pays the most, available shifts, & how far I have to travel. If you think Amazon is better then it wouldn't hurt to apply. You can always resign from FedEx so you can be rehired in the future.
Short answer... yes B/c they are two different companies even though you are delivering Amazon products. Just to be sure, I would make sure the dsp company does not have anything in the contract about that though.
I've watched a few of your videos mainly cause I was recently let go from Amazon. I was wronged but wasn't really able to appeal so I steered my focus on FedEx and came across you. When I saw you I was like "oh shii, that Reggie Couz..but with locs" lmfaoo but yeah I start my orientation this Thursday at 6am. Start my actual day of work Saturday makin $19 full time as a package handler.
Man I appreciate you taking time out your day to check out my videos! 💯 Hate to hear it didn't work out for you at Amazon. Good thing is you can still reapply to Amazon in about 3-12 months (depends on location). I've gotten emails from them stating I'm eligible for rehire. How's it going for you at FedEx? Oh & No Reggie Couz look-a-like over here my guy! lol 😂
Are you saying not to work 17 hours a Day? lol , I already have a Full-Time job 8 hours, so you might be wondering why I am watching this? I am looking for a secondary job, so that I can save some money $$$ also are you related to me? I also like to move around and get bored if I am doing the same things for too long. for that my Full-Time job consist in working with kids younger than 5 years old. A few years ago I worked in Amazon, but then a package fell on me and it hurt my shoulder got scared to go back.
lol YES is you can keep from it..... I did for the same reason you are thinking about getting a 2nd job (to earn extra money). I would recommend having to labor intensive jobs though. We could be related lol.... I'm sure with working with kids you have developed a short attention span alone with them. 😃
I worked Amazon after graduating high school my first warehouse job at 2016 pay was like $13.25-13.50 Amazon is a easier job I was a temp associate easier job then FedEx , at FedEx you pick up heavy boxes up to 75lb at day sort as far as I know where o work and pto after 3 months and they have boxes heavier then that 75lb but at my first no call no show FedEx write up the manager was nice and counted my 2 no call no show and 2 unexcused absence as 1 so that’s a pro
At both companies they have metal detectors and security guards the time 2016 I worked Amazon they allowed phones not sure now, but FedEx no phones allowed you have to put it in your locker car or leave it at home
Depends on the work load. It's a lot of repetitious labor which can get real busy or slow down throughout the shift. Its not hard but physically demanding.
I quit after two weeks shit was horrible . I couldn’t even bend down my body was messed up I have an interview tomorrow at FedEx pay is better so hopefully that will motivate me .
@@HumanEncoded they rescheduled my orientation for some reason but I got in at Amazon seasonal part time I start the 14th . Hope it’s not as bad as ups

That's not uncommon. When I started some ppl didn't come to work on the first day after training b/c they didn't know. I would suggest calling your location & asking b/c I would hate for them to count a day against you b/c they really wasn't clear about your schedule 📲☎️
During peak season some work stations would have music playing from a speaker but other than that a individual could not have headphones on listening to music.
ok so where I live both company's are not far from each other. I've been at amazon for almost 6 months I work at a sortation center. The only reason why I need a second income is because their full time shifts don't fit my needs right now so I was thinking about switching to fed ex and leaving amazon. Except you mentioned that you worked at both so can I really do that ? I thought company's look at who you are currently working for lol. Please inform me because if I can work part time at both for some time until I find the right opportunity to go full time with one of them with a schedule that works for me I would prefer that. I love the amazon site I work at but at this time I need a second job right away I don't want to leave so sudden, they will pay for me to go back to school in January. Fed ex is close to home and its later in that day like I need it to be.
You don't have to quit Amazon. I've worked at both at the same time. Once I got hired I even told them I had another job so I could leave at a certain time. Not sure if I told them what company it was tho. These jobs don't care as long as you can work your schedule. Around this time of the year they will have mandatory hrs to work so you'll have to figure out how to work around that. Hope this helps 🤞🏽
Lol naw I've been working out throughout my adult years (off & on). I'm trying to gain some weight to convert it into muscle mass at the moment. 🤞🏽 Working at these warehouse may help ppl get in shape or stay in shape if the job is physically labor intensive though. I didn't work there for the workout, I worked there for the money! 💰 lol
Work for FedEx Ground for three years as a package handler outbound and inbound part time located in Wallingford CT And let me tell its the absolute worse and most ghetto place I've ever work for did everything at this place never got promoted...From favoritism, Managers unorganized/rude and never happy to fights breaking out no leadership whatsoever..I start Amazon Delivery Station this week better pay and more hours can't wait
That may be true but Amazon has soo many different types of sectors outside of shipping/logistics that increase job opportunities for people that may not want to just work for a shipping company.
Got some good info from this video. Going to my orientation for FedEx today. In my area, FedEx and UPS or finally paying more since we got Amazon in our area out of the airport. It’s not a warehouse though. I would not be able to work at an Amazon warehouse, no way! The competition is good because they are paying people more. I am just now starting at FedEx and my pay is $17 and I am hired in unlike UPS. UPS pays more but you’re very unlikely to get a job there permanently. I’ll get my insurance within 30 days of working at aFedEx and it’s affordable. UPS gives insurance after a year for free. But you pay Union Fees and the Union doesn’t back its employees in my area. But when I speak to my family that lives in Kansas it’s different there for the pay. Also Unions are different depending on what city you live in. I did like Amazon because I worked out on the ramp loading and unloading aircraft. But in the winter time because I’ve had broken bones in the past the arthritis killed me. I couldn’t handle it. Amazon overall is the best imo and go out of their way to retain employees.
Yea I think Amazon has a slight edge on FedEx & now that you mentioned it, UPS b/c of their hiring, pay, & infrastructure. I really hope everything works well for you @ FedEx. I've known ppl who worked there for yrs & like it. Appreciate you watching the video! 🙂
One of the reasons I quit. Oh, you’re done? You’ve been assigned to a new work station. Oh, you’re done again? You’ve been assigned to a new work station again. Oh, so you on the top 10 fastest employees? You’ve been assigned to another new work station. Oh, again? This fool don’t know how to chill. Alright. You’ve been assigned to another work station again again. You get it now? The harder you work, being the best of the best. You never get to take a breather. No 1 or 3 minute breaks. Make rate, make rate! Managers don’t give a damn about you.
This is true.... the managers job is to get the most production out of the workers to complete the task for that shift. It's up to the workers to pace themselves & not let them over work you. That's just my 2 cents 🙂
I tell people this is every warehouse. Hard work does nothing half of the time but give you MORE hard work while the slackers continue to slack and you're going home with body aches etc. They expect you to be a superstar and perform on the same level everyday and that's not possible. That's why I have so many ppl risking heart attacks and high BP bc they are overworked and stressed drinking a bunch of Monsters rockstars etc trying to keep up and stay awake smh
Pay has increased nationwide since I started plus it depends where you live in the country that determines starting pay. Thanks for informing pay in Ohio bro. 👍🏽
I think it's pretty even right now b/c these companies are really needing workers. When I applied for both, Amazon was prob easier. You can apply for both & see which one hires you 1st.

Alot of older or slightly disabled people there. Lately there has been alot of heavy work load in the summer. Not worth the lower pay.
I used to pickup Amazon Groceries from the warehouse & Whole Foods when I worked with Amazon Flex delivery.
Amazon is always trying to get more volume out of their workers as possible. lol
Thanks for sharing your experience.💯
I started working at Amazon a month ago. It seems too good to be true. It feels like a trap. I'm still trying to figure out what's the catch. I worked for many warehouses including Pepsi, Raleys, Costco, and Macy's logistics to name a few. Real warehouse men know Amazon is cheesy compared to real warehouse work, but there has to be a catch........🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Are you saying that the work isn't hard enough? If you have worked there for a month then what you see is what you get.. No catch lol
Once you been there a year. They’ll start trying to make you work more, than say you gotta make rate. Ans try to find ways to make you quit or fire you.
@@ColossalSwordFormAndTechnique my coworker been at Amazon for 10 years so Idk what your talking about I been there for 2 years and they haven’t told me nothing I’m at 19$ the hr right now getting my cdl classes payed for to
The catch is you have to work 10 hours full time + another 10 mandatory overtime shifts.
Other than that, I agree Amazon is easier than FedEx and ups
here fedex pays 19.50 , amazon pays 20.50
That sounds much better than the amount they were paying when I was working there.
Hopefully that's enough to at least live off of in your area.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Quick question I have training this Monday do I need to bring anything and do you think I can bring my phone in because I don’t have my license yet and my brother has to pick me up after
Yes, you can bring your phone. At the most, you will just have to walk through the security scanner.
At fed express they changed the transfer requirements to other positions from 1/2 year to 1 year to 1 1/2 year while I was working there for 14 month.
Wonder why they extend the transfer requirements like that 🤔
I worked at FedEx Ground for about 2 years (3 months full time), Amazon for 3 months (full time).
Pay: Amazon ($17.90 vs $17 full time... though at Amazon I was weekend overnights, FedEx was 1pm-10pm)
Benefits: FedEx (As a college student, otherwise Amazon)
Scheduling: FedEx (More flexible. I quit at Amazon because they wouldn't let me change my schedule)
Time Off: Amazon (The app is great. Personal time is huge. Never called off at Amazon so I'm not entirely sure, but FedEx is chill with it)
Work Conditions: FedEx (Neither have controlled climates. Amazon's crazy strict with numbers, FedEx is more chill)
Culture: FedEx (Depends on the building... one FedEx was a terrible vibe while one FedEx was pretty chill. Amazon was a hellhole)
Overall: FedEx
Good advice.... Thanks for sharing your Amazon experience.
Hopefully things will go well for you at FedEx. 💯
I looking for my first job just graduated high school I'm either between FedEx or Amazon both warehouse jobs, someone help me decide please!!!
Find out which one pays the most. If both pay the same I would give the edge to Amazon. Just my opinion
Which do you prefer, FedEx or Amazon? Let me know your opinion*
Forgot to Add: FedEx do NOT drug test but Amazon does (oral swab test)..... Hope this help someone 🙂
My mom works for fedex express and they do urine tests
@@jrap2452 oh wow... thanks for sharing this bro 👍🏽
@@oliviapinkard9650 if you did a felony 15 years ago will you fail background check?
Oh man now I’m second guessing myself haha! I just filled out my background check for part time at FedEx, should I try to get a better offer from Amazon while working at FedEx? Or is it not worth it?
To me it just depends which one pays the most, available shifts, & how far I have to travel.
If you think Amazon is better then it wouldn't hurt to apply.
You can always resign from FedEx so you can be rehired in the future.
I work at Fedex package handler 16.50 can be hard on the body
Yes it can. When I started it took my body a minute to adjust to that type of workload & standing for that long.
Can you work Amazon warehouse and a third party dsp driver
Short answer... yes
B/c they are two different companies even though you are delivering Amazon products.
Just to be sure, I would make sure the dsp company does not have anything in the contract about that though.
Amazon gave me free health insurance the first day I started my job. That’s a bonus for anybody that needs insurance.
That's great to hear.... Thanks for sharing this information Rosemary! 👍
Update: FEDEX Arcadia pays 18.25 an hour for part time.
Appreciate the update bruh

My pleasure... thanks for watching Deana! 🙂👍🏽
I work at amazon and we can take our phones in, I see your video is from last year things have changed..... 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
That's great to head & yea when I was working there no phones were allowed on the warehouse floor. 📲👍🏽
I've watched a few of your videos mainly cause I was recently let go from Amazon. I was wronged but wasn't really able to appeal so I steered my focus on FedEx and came across you. Start my actual day of work Saturday makin $19 full time as a package handler.
Man I appreciate you taking time out your day to check out my videos! 💯
Hate to hear it didn't work out for you at Amazon. Good thing is you can still reapply to Amazon in about 3-12 months (depends on location). I've gotten emails from them stating I'm eligible for rehire.
How's it going for you at FedEx?
Oh & No Reggie Couz look-a-like over here my guy! lol 😂
Hows fed ex so far ? Im thinking about working there.
I’m currently in your situation due to Attendance points thinking about quitting and goin back I’m working as a flex associate

not sure about UPS 🤔
Fedex express drug test is non-federal. If you quit on good grounds with them, they will not hire you back if you reapply within 6 month.
Thanks for clearing this up 👍🏽
Fedex needs to step up in terms of technology they give you headaches when trying to set up direct deposit and the mobile app is complete trash.
Good point 👍
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Hopefully this helps other people when choosing between the two.
UPS 💪🏻 UNION STRONG
UPS in the building! 💪🏾
They all seem to be a little similar in operation in my opinion.
How would you describe fedex outbound package handler? Hard? Very hard?
Depends on the work load. It's a lot of repetitious labor which can get real busy or slow down throughout the shift.
Its not hard but physically demanding.
Very hard
How about UPS? How are they.
Not sure about UPS the closes I got to working for them was orientation.

but my manager did not tell me anything about my schedule and im not sure whats going on!
do i need to go back on wed, thurs?
are wed and thurs my set scedule?

Can you listen to music while you work?
Fed ex is close to home and its later in that day like I need it to be.
non you can't you have to quit amazon
You don't have to quit Amazon. I've worked at both at the same time.
Once I got hired I even told them I had another job so I could leave at a certain time. Not sure if I told them what company it was tho.
These jobs don't care as long as you can work your schedule.
Around this time of the year they will have mandatory hrs to work so you'll have to figure out how to work around that.
Hope this helps 🤞🏽
Did you get in shape from just working at warehouses?
Lol naw I've been working out throughout my adult years (off & on). I'm trying to gain some weight to convert it into muscle mass at the moment. 🤞🏽
Working at these warehouse may help ppl get in shape or stay in shape if the job is physically labor intensive though.

Yea it does sound like your previous job was on the worst end of working with FedEx. lol
Hope Amazon is 10x better for you when you start Rock Suge. 🤞
FedEx is the second largest shipping company in the country behind UPS by revenue. Amazon is not even close.
Amazon hands down

No cap but they hours OD
Amazon or Fed?
I tell people this is every warehouse. Hard work does nothing half of the time but give you MORE hard work while the slackers continue to slack and you're going home with body aches etc. They expect you to be a superstar and perform on the same level everyday and that's not possible. That's why I have so many ppl risking heart attacks and high BP bc they are overworked and stressed drinking a bunch of Monsters rockstars etc trying to keep up and stay awake smh
