    Since I applied you 4 Hour Workday in my life, it changed completely. I coudn't focus before and felt a fraud because I coudn't stop to study 8 hours nonstop, so I was paralized and didn't study at all. But since I put 4 hour divided in pomodoro, I've been very productive. Thanks, Dan!

      Explore a napachino, Small coffee ( like 2-3 shot ml) and then no longer than 22 min nap mid afternoon. It breaks up the day with a jolt of caffeine kicking in 30 min later to get your focus back. As an ex professional athlete, we learned to recharge with smaller naps between 2 or 3 x training daily.

    My UA-cam channel wouldn’t be where it’s at (23k subs) without the 6months-1year I spent going to the public library with my laptop every morning from 10am-1pm. Just 3 hours per day and I forced myself to not work on anything the rest of the day. Believe it or not I actually got more done than I did when working on and off all day, fighting distractions in my room / house. The library forced a quiet study-focused location where all I could do is work. Those 3 hours per day for just a few months put me so far ahead of where I ever imagined I could have been. You’d be surprised how far you can get in 3 hours of constant work! Plus, having the rest of the day actually helped my creative ideas, and almost cured my burnout within the first few days. I swear, the change in environment alone was enough to be a positive influence! Highly recommend.

    As soon as I began the process of ego disintegration, it became clear to me how my “hard work” was just an an delusional idea in my mind which was holding me back. I failed to become a professional soccer player, but played division one soccer and it’s exactly what you are talking about as to why I didn’t fulfill that dream. I put myself under immense anxiety by overtraining, and never had that flow state which is paramount to sports. Wish I watched this content 4 years ago. However I am starting my own business now. I have patented the process, created an application, and am in the stage of raising capital. Thanks for this insightful content. You are truly benefiting society!

    As a music producer, I work from home. I told people/friends that in the past year I prefer working 3-4 hours, then simply go out in nature or hit the gym, then come home and make food and decide whether I wanna continue on work/music or do whatever I wish. But those first 4 hours are what matters! The rest of the day is my for my physical and mental health. I tried working full-time with youth as a leader for 6 weeks at the start of 2023, it meant 10 hours away every day. The job went well but I felt so miserable with no time or energy for music, my own business or the gym. I know I can work smarter and earn more in the creative world.

    • @montanaweatherby2631

      How did you become a music producer? Is your income from streams? Or do you do private music for companies?

    • @krisumusic
      @krisumusic Рік тому +2

      @@montanaweatherby2631 I never "tried" to make it my job, it was my main hobby to make my own songs, I just released my first albums and solo music back in 2012 through a distributor when I was 20 years old and after 3 years it had took off and I got to around 100.000 listeners on Spotify in recent years. So it's mainly income from streaming but since I'm nowhere near "big" I'm starting to write and produce for others to make ends meet. But I think in 5 years if I'm able to grow further on Spotify then things are looking alright. I did produce for Epidemic Sound during 2020 for example but now I freelance :)
      In short, I started early, before "everyone" produced music like it seems now and I made songs in a genre that was popping off around 2013. I made a few albums in the genre known as Chillstep before anyone else had made albums. That helped! But now, I don't want to chase what's popular now but rather just make what I personally wants to hear and enjoy making.

    The whole point of me working relentlessly on my side hustle is to quit my 9-5 and achieve the 4-hour work week.
    I wake up at 4:30 AM to work on my side hustle (copywriting). Early morning is the only time when I can do deep work. The rest of the day is filled with 9-5 and the gym.
    I think you have to work more than 12 hours a day to even achieve the 4-hour work week when you are in this position. I mean, a 4-hour week is the prize man.

    I agree with you on the length of work. It does depend on the kind of work you do. Lately, I am investing money(shares, passive income options etc) and I realise that I don't need to spend a lot of time making money daily.
    The supplement I sell does not need much work either - I prepare it, freeze it and thaw it when ready to bottle it for customers. It's still a small business, so it does not require a lot of time.

    • @horizoniki
      @horizoniki Рік тому +2

      you can also decrease the length of ANY work to an hour per day if you automate or delegate tasks. for that you would need outsourcing, and for that you might need more income to afford paying people to do your work. 3 sources of somewhat income is better than a single job of any kind.
      time is more valuable than money and theres a ton of people ready to pay a ton of money if you can save them a lof of time and for that you need the skill and experience to pass over to your employees, and for that you put in hours into work. you can also decrease the length of any work to an h..
      life is a funny thing

      use those remaining hours to learn a new skill or hone those that you already know. when he says a 4hr work day he doesn't literally mean do nothing the remaining hours throughout your day. it's like someone who day trades right... they don't have to be on the charts THE entire day, but a maximum of 4hours they can make $100s and $1,000s of dollar. that is THEIR workday, as example. the rest of the day could be spent with family, doing hobbies they enjoy or whatever the case may be. I don't think you should be taking his advice so "strictly" but understand that its a process from working 8hr shifts at a job paying you minimum wage or perhaps a job you enjoy, to having a business that doesn't take half as much time to do so that you may continue to do the things you like without utilizing your entire day... hope that helps...
