I had the pleasure of watching it super early in the morning, in an empty theater, and definitely cried during the ending....I actually paid for another ticket and sat through the movie in the empty theater for a second time, and pretty sure I cried a little again. I love that they do a happy ending after the sad part tho ❤️

I'm so glad that after John Powell's legendary soundtrack for How to Train Your Dragon, Dreamworks allowed him to compose the other scores. Though his astounding scores, John Powell was able to perfectly captivate a trilogy that constantly shuffled our emotions. The distinguished scores that John Powell provided for this trilogy remain as some of the best scores in the history of animated films.
You didn’t have to make me cry today. HTTYD is one of the most beautiful series to exist and I’ll always love it.

HTTYD is straight-up my favorite franchise of all time, and the music is a massive part of that. And Forbidden Friendship is my second favorite track in all the OSTs (just barely behind Test Drive), and this cover does an amazing job of not only capturing its magic but also improving upon it. I cannot praise you highly enough for this one. Fantastic work, and I look forward to seeing what you produce in the future.

This is amazing, HTTYD holds a special place in my heart as being one of the first films I saw in cinema and forbidden friendship was always my favourite piece of music.
I saw all three in IMAX 3D, and it was well worth it.

HTTYD is easily the best trilogy I've ever seen about growing up, fitting in, being yourself, taking responsibility, and accepting that not all people can or will change, and sometimes your dream can't come true (and that that's okay). Its score is phenomenal and memorable and it's the only series I've ever felt compelled to share and praise. Honestly, the fact it lost to Toy Story 3 was a god damn crime. This series was so much more impactful than just another good movie in an already established trilogy.

It's going to make me extremely upset when this absolute gem of a trilogy is forgotten over time. I hope it persists as far into the future as possible, so that those in decades or maybe even centuries' time will know of Hiccup and Toothless' story.

Everyone's talking about the movie trilogy which is, I 100% agree, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, but I also feel like Riders/Defenders of Berk and Race To The Edge deserve some love, too!
The other riders aside from Hiccstrid are like, _actual_ characters that aren't just comic relief.

I’m in my teens and I would generally not enjoy pg animated movies like HTTYD (Clone Wars being an obvious exception.) but something in HTTYD struck me as different. When I wached the final installment of the trilogy I felt a unidentifiable combination of joy and sadness that makes a pressure on my chest that I can feel whenever I think about it. If a franchise can illicit that much of an emotional response from someone who would deny their emotions (such as a teenager) it definitely deserves recognition. Don’t even get me started on Sam though. He takes this to a new fucking level. In essence, well done.

httyd is a beautiful story. and it’s so underrated. hiccup met toothless when he was just 15, letting him go when he was 21. the adventures they went through together, the friendship they formed, this amazing world they survived through together. amazing. without toothless, hiccup would’ve never found who he truly was. without hiccup, toothless never would’ve became a king of dragons and never found his mate.
I just wanted to say that I love HTTYD. I grew up watching the first movie over and over again. I watched the trailer of the second movie like 100 times (no joke I watched it nonstop) before it came out. And then, years later (i was 12 at the time) I watched the third and last movie (And tried my best to not cry in the theatre but failed). I‘m often scared to tell people I like these movies because people are like „these are kids movies. You‘re too old for this stuff“ (I’m almost 14 ) but I can’t stop loving them. Hiccup and toothless friendship is just so wholesome and it was just beautiful watching them grow up together, live trough adventures and often confront problems. This Franchise has a lot to do with who I am now and will always have a place in my heart.
(PS: I‘m sorry of I spelled something wrong, English is not my first language but it’s the one most people understand so I tried my best!^^ )

I swear I'm gonna show the movies to my kids one day, I won't force it on them, but I grew up with HTTYD and I just can't let them miss this powerful and life-changing opportunity.

This is my favorite Powell score and third favorite piece in the film. Test Drive and Romantic Flight being 1 and 2 respectively. This is a great rendition of it.
Thank you Samuel for recreating this. How to Train your Dragon was a huge part of my childhood and hearing this brings back so much memories. It sounds so beautiful mixing other tracks from httyd like romantic flight. Thanks for this masterpiece I needed it.
I have chills. This is amazing. I just pictured the whole trilogy in 3 minutes and 8 seconds. My whole Childhood in one song. Everything I’ve ever loved, showed to me in memories I shall cherish forever.
I don't usually like covers of this track, because I don't feel that they live up to the original, but this piece gave me the same goosebumps that the original does! Well done!!

10 years ago, my dad and I went and saw the first movie in cinemas and now 10 years later, we have seen all three movies in cinemas. My dad and I still bond over these movies till this day.

What I really loved about this move, is how it really progresses with us during our life time. From the time Hiccup was 10 we were the same age as him.
Then he turned 15 / 16 we were also his age.
Then came for him when he was 18 / 19 the same to us.
But man, how to train your dragon was the best thing I have ever seen in my life.
He was 15 in the first movie, 20 in the second movie, and 21 in the third movie (and 30 in the epilogue). Your point definitely still stands though, as Hiccup grew and matured we got to do it with him and it was wonderful.
I really liked the 1st one as a kid and I saw the 2nd one in theatres when I was at camp. It made me really sad so I never watched the 3rd one. This is really good music!!

I think everyone here can agree that this is quite possibly one of the best movie scores that exists in modern times.
The way all of these musics culminate into one amazing song just makes me hum along no matter where in the song we are!

And no words were needed.
This movie will forever mean the world to me, It helped me through so many rough times with mental health. It was my one escape from the world and I sobbed like a new born when I finally got to see the final movie. They did absolutely amazing with all three movies, especially with how they interlaced this piece of music in all three.
I was so sad to know that's how the lovely story of these two amazing friends would end but, all amazing things must come to an end. However... The screen writer and head of animations did say that there would possibly be spin-offs in the future. It's truly amazing to have grown up with this trilogy and series that came with it. This film will always hold a special place in my heart, forever.

HTTYD is so special to me. We had a day out in the city with my Aunty and little brother. She took us to see it in theatres. I think it was the first time I cried watching a movie. I remember us walking out of the cinema raving about how cute Toothless was, how we wanted a pet dragon and how we wanted to fly over the clouds too. That childlike love, that same feeling I had 11 years ago watching Toothless and Hiccup fly together blossoms in my heart every time I sit back and rewatch this movie.

I had very recently gotten into HTTYD, at only 12 years old. The first time I ever saw HTTYD was one of the RTTE episodes when I was 9. I decided I didn't like the movie. 3 years later, I tried the first movie, and I instantly became obsessed. 2 months later, I watched the second. I loved it. And lastly the third movie. I still loved it. HTTYD is my most favorite trilogy I've ever seen.

I have grown up with the tree movies. Saw the first when i was 3 years old, saw the second when it came out, saw the third and cried that a trilogy i grep up with was done. And this was perfect, it brougth forth emotions and made a soon 16 year old cry.
