I just tried this recipe this weekend for my nepheu's birthday and WOW.. best recipe eEVERRRRR made the guest say they went back to childhood!!!! thank you
If you’re really fast you can zip through it. If not you’re probably going to get 2 colors and have to probably reheat the 3rd color. You must be very fast with this one. You can also use chocolate or fondant to get this look as well. I hope I answered your question.💕
I love your videos you is nice with these apples I watching as many videos as possible I plan on making some red candy apples for thanksgiving I have one question the liquid whitening is it supposed to be gel coloring or not?
Thank you so much. Yes it is gel food coloring. It's just called white-white icing. Make sure you only put a drop or two in and use something like Hobby Lobby's super red. If you put too much white your candy apples will turn pink. I think you will do great with this.
Do you have a video that talks about storing the apples before an event? Do you leave them out of the bag out of a box? I would love to learn more about that. Last question 💜 Granny Smith is fine for candy apples vs red ones ? Thank you so much
Always box or bag your apples right after you have dipped all of your candy apples. Here's and example in this video: ua-cam.com/video/8BOvmCo6Wus/v-deo.html Most treat makers use Granny Smith apples. It's comes to your preference, however the red apples are harder to clean due to more sugars in those. I hope this helps you.
@Michelle Allen I wanted to double check something. What do you mean no rinsing? You don't have to rinse and then clean your apples. You can just clean your apples in the candy apple cleaning method.
Thank you. I've watched several other videos but you are the best. Thank you again. I'm in the process of making these. Maybe not the three colors but definitely this recipe. I'm just waiting for my 24 hours are up 🤣🤣🤣 One question? Do you need them to be cold before dipping?
You can do it! No don't put those apples in no refrigerator.😂😂😂 Let them sit out on your kitchen counter...lol. You're talking about caramel apples if you want to skip the cleaning process. Then the apples would need to be extra cold. For candy apples don't put those in no refrigerator. Let them sit out on your kitchen counter for 24-48 hours and during that wait period, keep wiping them down to get the wax and sap off.
As a beginner you should be able to get 2 colors with no problem. You must be really fast to get 3 colors. In this case there is a chance that you might have to reheat your candy for the 3rd color. I only dipped 6 and this wore me out and I'm a fast dipper...lol.😂
Yes my picture don't stay loose enough for me to dip all of my apples which are never more than 12 it starts to thicken up without me I'll let I need a lettuce book tomorrow And since I found your channel and subscribe I've been using your method which is beautiful
Can you add like flavor to the serve as you go along like the white can you add a drop of vanilla you add the yellow can you add like a little pineapple you added the orange can you add a little orange flavor I have some flavor candy I don't know if it's there but this is flavored can I like added as I go along when I switch the colors
That might be stretching it although I’ve heard some getting that many. What size are your apples? Just add 1 more cup of sugar and water to make sure you get that many.
@@DIYQUEENDIVA they’re going to be medium sized 🍏. Ok I’ll add the additional cup of each to make sure it stretches, but hopefully not too thick. Thank you for responding.

@@DIYQUEENDIVA thanks I will be using this recipe next time I have an order
Sounds great!
I love this ideas I’m going to try this tomorrow. Quick question once you dipped it the three colors, how thick is the candy on the apple?
I understand your concern because it's dipping in candy 3 times...lol. It's not too bad because I bit right into it...lol. Do two dips instead of 3.
Beautiful 😍 And Thank you
Thank you and you're so welcome!💕

Phenomenal 🎉❤
Thank you so much!💕
These are amazing. Thanks for the reminder that perfection takes time. 💜 do you have to wait long between the colors to dip the next color ?
Thank you so much. No do not wait. Move very fast. These can also be down with chocolate or fondant if you can't move fast.
Thank you. I've watched several other videos but you are the best. Thank you again. I'm in the process of making these. Maybe not the three colors but definitely this recipe. I'm just waiting for my 24 hours are up 🤣🤣🤣

Does it stay hot that long so you can double dip and change your color or do you put it back on the eye so it can warm up

What flavor did you use?
LorAnn butter vanilla.

Yes, please add the flavor that you like. Try to always go with a clear flavor so it doesn't change the color of the candy apples.
You say use corn syrup is that Karo syrup or what kind of syrup are you talking about
Yes, please use light corn syrup. It can be any brand.
Thank you so much 💓
You're so welcome.
Thank you for sharing this tutorial.😊 These are the cutest😍 I love me some candy corn.(Says no one ever but me😂) What size pot are you using?
You’re so welcome and thank you so much. 3.5 Quart. It’s in my Amazon bake shop. The link is in the description box below.

Will 6-4-1 work for 30 apples? I think it will.

What do you mean 641?
6 cups sugar, 4 cups water, and 1 cup light corn syrup.
