I watch your videos over and over. I am new at this helping my sons business sell these. You are so amazing how fast you can dip and scrape. If the candy starts to harden, can you heat it up a little to soften it again ? Thank you for all the videos. I just want to be in your kitchen with you learning this haha. So much talent you have
Thank you so much…😀 This candy apple recipe will allow you to get so many apples dipped as a beginner. This is why this is the best candy apple recipe. You can get 24 dipped from one pot before your candy hardens. To answer your question yes you can, but try this candy apple recipe so you won’t have to deal with that reheating.❤️
😁😁😁 Thank you so much . My daughter said thank you canny apple tv lol she’s one but thanks for making this video . I can’t wait to make this in January for her birthday
Yes, add the white to avoid your candy apples from being translucent. I only don't add white to black and metallic colors. But hey! They are your candy apples. If you don't want to add white that will be your choice and preference. You'll just be apple to see through the apples.
@@DIYQUEENDIVA thank you so much I just have not been able to find it but will have to order it online. Thanks so much for responding. I’m loving your channel!
You're so welcome. For some reason it's hard to find now. Yes ordering online is a great option. I also have an Amazon bake shop located in the description box. I have some there as well.
After you take them out the candy apple solution, let them sit 24-48 hours. During that time continue to clean them to remove the wax and sap off the apples.
It depends on if the room is cool or not. If you're going to have your candy apples sitting out make sure the area is cool. If you can't control the heat or humidity at an event try to use dry corn syrup like in this video here: ua-cam.com/video/ujJMM5RUF1A/v-deo.html
Thank you so much. Just scroll down to the link in the description box for my Amazon Bake shop and click on Gracie's Corner Candy apples. Supplies are located there.
Are they translucent? Be careful with doing that because they can make your candy apples thick depending on what kind of candy apple recipe you use. I would only dip them again if they came out translucent.💕
Ok. You should be fine. In the future only dip over if they are translucent. Have your colors together before you dip your candy apples. If you are using two colors test those colors like this before starting. ua-cam.com/users/shortsRL-jiskFvuY?si=5WRbNy892ia2t4Yg
Yes I do the 24-48 hour cleaning process. The best way to avoid sticky candy apples is to keep them very cool. If your area is humid, hot, or even if your kitchen is humid or hot it's best to use dry corn syrup like Hi-Sweet here in the the following videos and keep them cool as possible. I hope this helps you. - ua-cam.com/video/ujJMM5RUF1A/v-deo.html -ua-cam.com/video/QqNr5ZILwug/v-deo.html
Good Day candy apple red, I've been watching your videos for some times going through them to see how you use your recipe for candy apples. I was very surprised to find out that you live where my husband used to live years ago. I tried the other recipe, the 411, so now I'm going to try yours and see how successful it will be for me. I want to start the candy apple business, however, there are some laws here in North Carolina that I'm not clear about, and was wondering if you could lead me in the right direction on what I'm going to need to get started. I hear so many things, but I need more clarity. Thank you for any help you can give me. I'm 2 hours from you actually. Have a blessed day!
Hello. I hope this link helps you. Don't be too hard on yourself because the state of NC is an entrepreneurial state and we don't have those difficult cottage laws like other states. Take a look at this and let me know if this puts you in the right direction and yes don't forget to try that 6-4-1 candy apple recipe that was birthed here in NC....lol. Here's the link: www.pickyourown.org/CottageFoodLaws-NorthCarolina.php
This one is great for any size. This is the best candy apple you’re going to get. You will get a minimum of 12 large apples or 24 small to medium apples in one pot without reheating your candy mixture.
They will stick on without adding anything. That’s why I say once you stick it on you’re stuck with that edible image because you will mess everything up trying to straighten it out or anything.
I absolutely don’t recommend same day unless you have no other choice because it’s a high possibility of bubbles on the apples. The same day is not allowing the sugars to release from the apples.

Your videos are such a great help to me. I am currently trying to figure out where to purchase edible images that will work with my candy apples. I am not ready to purchase my own printer yet. Any suggestions?
Thank you, and you're so welcome. If your candy apples are coming out too chewy and not crisp, you are taking your candy apple mixture off the stove too early. Make sure you have a working candy thermometer. Some candy thermometers have to be replaced. If you don't have one, make sure you go out and purchase one. Cook your candy until it reaches 300 degrees. I hope this helps you.
You can make them and place them in the refrigerator. Leave the bag opened until you are getting ready to deliver then put the twist ties on. Don't put them in the refrigerator before dipping in the candy mixture. ONLY put them in the refrigerator after you actually make them. I hope this helps you Bridget.💕
Hey! Always leave them out on the counter during the 24-48 cleaning period. Now after you have dipped the candy apples and your house is hot or humid you will then need to refrigerate the candy apples. Just leave the candy apple bags opened while they are in the refrigerator until you are getting ready to deliver and then you can go ahead and close them up. If your house is very cool you can leave them in a cool spot inside your home. I hope this information helps you.💕
i have a few more questions , what degree do i let it boil it to before taking it off the stove ? & when do i add the lorann flavor i would like to use ?
Let your candy apple mixture reach 300 degrees then take it off the stove. I always add everything at the beginning because Honey Chile, I will forget if I don't add it at the beginning. If you don't want to add it at the beginning wait until your candy apple mixture reaches about 280 degrees and drop it in but don't stir. Wait until your candy reaches 300 degrees when you take it off the stove before you stir it.
Up to 24 small Granny Smith apples. If you're looking to dip 12 large apples this is definitely the candy apple recipe to use. Here's my 3 favorite candy apple recipes for NO THICK Candy Apples you can make in ONE pot: 🍏CANDY APPLES SMALL BATCHES: Candy Apple Recipe 3-2-1 for up to 5 apples. 3 cups sugar 2 cups water 1 cup light corn syrup 🍏CANDY APPLES MEDIUM BATCHES: Candy Apple Recipe 4-3-1 for up to 6-8 apples. 4 cups sugar 3 cups water 1 cup light corn syrup 🍏CANDY APPLES LARGE BATCHES: Candy Apple Recipe 6-4-1 for up to 8- 24 small apples. 6 cups sugar 4 cups water 1 cup light corn syrup
If you want your candy to be thick 3-1-1 would be okay. If you want your candy to be perfect, meaning not too thick or not too thin but perfect then try 3-2-1. 3 cups sugar, 2 cups water, and one cup of corn syrup. I hope this helps you.
Do ur candy apples ever be too sticky to bag? When I do any mixture other than 411 mines be too sticky to bag do u know why? I do have it coo after dipping
Nope, not at all. The only time I had sticky candy apples was dipping them at my mother's house to show you all why sticky candy apples happen, and that's because she'll have the heat on in the summer....lol Your house is too humid or hot. Try dry corn syrup like I did in this video: ua-cam.com/video/QqNr5ZILwug/v-deo.html I hope this helps you.

Hello, again thanks for detailed videos. For 12- 24 apples, what size apples are you using? Lunch box, medium?
These are medium. I don't never use lunchbox sizes. Lunchbox sixes are the tiny apples. Customers would probably be mad if used those....lol.
Love them! Do you have to add the white color when you are doing colored ones?
Would be ok if just added the color I want?
Yes, add the white to avoid your candy apples from being translucent. I only don't add white to black and metallic colors. But hey! They are your candy apples. If you don't want to add white that will be your choice and preference. You'll just be apple to see through the apples.

After you take them out the candy apple solution, let them sit 24-48 hours. During that time continue to clean them to remove the wax and sap off the apples.
How long will the candy stay on the apple while they sit out
