We dive back into the Family Car Graveyard. This time we tackle the "Ole Man's" 1978 Ford Courier again, this time we want to see if we can dig it out of the hillside and drive it on the road. It has been sitting and overcome by the earth for 29 years? Will is hit the road for the first time in years? Is it worth our time trying to overtake what mother-nature has already claimed? Can the whole RevStoration crew make this mini truck start again? All these questions answered on this episode of RevStoration.

I will not ever ask you to telegram me for anything... it is spam! Do not reply.. simply report em.
I knew it was a scam they just sent me a message
@@JVaughn344 They are lonely basement dwellers that want to scam people out of money..
I report them. Also they have a scam of a bunch of bot’s having a conversation about investments paying off and they all coincidentally use the same broker and made millions. Don’t fall for it people it’s a scam.
Old man he's a worker
Now let's have a first wash in years. To me that will be so satisfying.
I agree! 👍
Yep, a good power wash will make it look much better. Maybe even as spotless as that windshield lol.
Enjoy spending time with the old man! Mine passed away back in 2020 and things just aren't the same since.
Papi Does it
God bless you Man
Mine passed January 22 2001 and I still feel exactly the same way. Things are different, I miss him everyday.
Sorry for your loss. Mine passed in 2019 and not a day goes by that I don't think about him and miss him terribly
Mine passed away in 1991 and I still miss him but I have the memories of me and him working on cars together
My old man passed when I was 15 to this day I'm always remembering different little things that we had done together, now day's kid's aren't interested in learning anything other than games, all the best to yous and your loved ones
This is my favorite show to watch. No matter what others are doing, there’s nothing like watching you and the Old Man. Niki T needs to go for a ride with the Old Man and the Currier.
She would want to drive.. I love watching his smile while driving his old rigs.. I thank yall as viewers because we wouldn't be getting these running without yall! Thanks!
@@RevStoration he's a big kid at Christmas with these vehicles
I kinda like to think of the Ole Man as a surrogate Ole Man to me. My dad has been gone since 1998 and my step-father died last year. I think you dad is a genuinely happy person that gives off an addicting vibe. Thanks again, Rev.
Clay, we enjoy our time together and I will promise you that I will not take it for granted.
A great video! Your Dad is awesome. Suggestion for the next one: Cleaning the Courier!!
Great suggestion!
Even has the old snapper mowers standing up!
Just holding parts until we need them in the spring.
I think that’s the craziest vehicle you guys ever worked on to bring it back from the dead. Thanks.
Alive from the grave for sure... Thanks for watching as always.
I cant belive that was so far into the dirt. It was buried. You got it out onto the road again. That was interesting to watch. I didnt think it was possible but you proved me wrong.
Let's talk in👆👆👆Private ✍️✍️
Text via telegram🎁🎉!!
I didn't think it was possible for a while myself.. but hey just gotta keep going.
Good Seeing You & Your Father Back At It Again On The Old Ford Courier David, Love Watching You Guys Bond And At It, Makes Me Think Back On The Bond My Father & I Have, He Passed Away Back In 2018, His Queen My Mom Went To Join Him Back In July 2022, You’re A Good Man Rev. Enjoy Your Parents & Family, God Bless You All..
Rev, my husband has restored many vehicles. He had a major heart attack and can no longer do what he loved so much. We enjoy you guys and my husband likes that you’al are God fearing good people. Please pray for us as we do you guys as well!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So sorry nnikie🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👍🤣👌👌
🙏
Most certainly will be praying.. thanks for watching!
Prayers for y'all are on the way. I am a cancer survivor that so many people had prayed for, but I was fortunate and blessed enough to live through it. I am 39 years old now, I am a God fearing Christian, I am a Methodist, but we all pray to the same higher power, so it's all one in the same. I am truly happy to hear about your husband's survival through that heart attack because not too many people can say that they survived. About six months ago my buddies and I noticed another truck driver in our complex who had wrecked his truck across three sets of railroad tracks and his truck was wedged against a stack of steel i-beams still spinning the tires. We ran out, I secured his truck, my one buddy called county dispatch, my buddy and I carried him out of the truck (a 6' tall 300 lb guy and I held his head on my shoulder while my other buddy got his waist and we got him out of the truck unconscious and to the ground). We administered CPR until the ambulance arrived and we got him to take a few breaths. The paramedics told us that if we hadn't gotten him out of the truck and worked on him that he never would've survived. He had a quadruple bypass and he's alive today. I'm no hero, I don't expect or even want any thanks, I just did what I'd hope someone would do for me someday when I experience the same thing. Wayne survived because it wasn't his time and God made sure he was taken care of by us, and especially the first responders. I am 5'10" 220 lbs.
good job guys never giving up . most people would say thats too far gone but i understand memories i would love to get my old 89 ramcharger back that was my dads then i drove it for long time best vehicle ever but also had memories with it
Well Rev it's about time u got the truck running and driving,
Took is long enough for sure..
Yes! This was worth the wait
I've been waiting for this video. Nice to see that little Courier getting some love. You should clean that Bonneville up. My parents had one almost identical to it and drove it for 20 years until it literally rotted away
Good luck getting that old courier out.
you should a least do a clean up video on the poor old courier just to see how it looks Rev it might surprise you and the old man, just something to think about sir.
There's a Pott County Legend smiling for you and the Old Man tonight. Thank y'all for sharing! Truly enjoyed it.
Starting that truck was a science project.
Rev if you get around to it next time you work on your Pinto could you please show that life saving piece of plastic at the gas tank that's was their solution to the explosive tanks. Never seen one but always been curious what it looked like
I have been in this exact situation before!
At a time like this, you wand two 2×6 boards. Jack up the front and place the 2×6 like it is a tire path and set the truck on top of it.
Do the same in the rear.
This allows the wheels to slide on the wood and not be trench in a rut.
I’m so glad you didn’t give up one her!❤
Great work getting it going. It looks like its been sitting in the ocean for a while.
Rev , remember that when you spend time with your Oldman treasure every moment I lost mine 9 years ago I enjoy your video thank you both of you . Thank for great clean fun and it helps me take my mind off my problems for a while .
Treasure these times with your dad.
My mom and dad went home in 2019..... and I miss 'em powerful.
Been waiting on this one!
Rev y’all are something else But I love it 👍
We agree that this have never been done and should not be done... but boy we did it.... I have said that a few times. Thanks Lee...
The Ole Man sure does have a heavy right foot... 👍
2WD trucks with open rear differentials are surely limited on what they can do off of the pavement.
You have an intake valve not sealing on that engine, probably just stuck. I would start it up and spray seafoam deep creep down the carb while revving it until it stalls from too much deep creep, then pull off the valve cover and try prying the intake valves carefully to get them to shut all the way. Maybe try working the exhaust valves too while your in there. Congrats on getting it going and extracted from the earth!
Seafood plus alot of other stuff... thanks for watching..
The entertainment alone is worth the price of admission 😂
Love you guys and love this channel.
Thank God it is free... we are grateful that you watch and enjoy. God Bless Jeff!
That is a really nice mini truck, it just needs a pressure wash, and a new windshield, clean out the bed, add radiator fluid, and you need to drain , flush and fill the manual transmission with fresh gear oil, drain ,flush and fill rear and differential, with fresh gear oil.
You know you never give up you and your dad will make it run at GOD,S SPEED
Amen
That was awesome!! Persistence always pays! Thank you, Rev. Stay safe, guys.
Please stop while you're ahead on this one.Sure enjoyed seeing the old courier slinging mud and gravel.
Bout as fair as it can be taken.. total spent to get it running $85 and three days of fun
@@RevStoration Fun and frustration, it's not even a true ford.
Hey Rev, man I have to give it to you and the Ole Man, that was some hard work you all put into that old girl! But she runs and drive. You all show the true mean of the shade tree mechanic!!👍
We did not give up.. even when we wanted too!
Hey buddy good to see yall again good luck hope every body is doing fine see y'all soon
You and the Ole Man don't give up easy! Thank you for sharing your adventure!
Wow, Rev, your voice changed from frustration to joy ... too cool... Mama is cool, too😂😂
When it started to run better.. My happiness returned quickly.
Always look forward to your video's Hello to everyone God Bless that is one COOL old truck just couldn't believe how it ran on the last video your Dad was why did l park it 🤣🤣Hi Nikki T
My first new truck was a 1980 Ford courier 2.3L 4 speeds short box , white & tan interior , did lot’s of modification to it , & put over 250 thousands ks , sold it and regret every minute of it , now decades later me at 60 years old , trying to find another one , not easy 😢 but fun little truck and can be good on gas if left like factory specs . I guess they just got old like me , but i’m still looking , nice to see that you & the old man got that one raised from the grave !❤ God bless
The Pott county legend 👍🏻Puddin 👍🏻👍🏻
You had no SPARK! Amazing what points and condenser will do!
We had spark the whole time according to our inline tester... the condenser was not storing adequate enough fire.
We knew you could do it. We also knew the old man wanted to make them back tires spin. Thank you all for all you do to make videos. Must be delivered rain sleep or ❄️ snow. 🤣🤣👍👍
I was thinking ... no way...... what a great video. Thank you
I was thinking that too!
Thank you for another great video. Enjoy the time that you and the ole man spend together. Merry xmas from NW Arkansas.
This made my day thank you for not giving up. I would like to see this one restored. Get well soon Rev and thank the Ol Man too. Cheers
Puddings fab shop would like that little truck yall could do a duo video together and show him your Pudding truck too. No relation 👍
I named my truck before I knew of Puddin.. we started communicating through the truck.
Very much fun thanks 👍 Lee
Rev , you you Puddin and Morski are my three favorite channels on Utube .
I will take that company... Thanks for watching, brother.
Hey pastor this is one of the longest videos you have done. This truck driving is amazing. This fought you tooth and nail. Loved it.especially rescuing the little truck. Don’t have clue what’s next. But, should be interesting! Thank you for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it.. I had a dashcap come in for the Pinto... If that was from you.. Thank you very much!
@@RevStoration yes sir Merry Christmas! 🎁
@@terryeustice5399 Thank you sir. We are gathering parts and we will get it together soon
The ole man drives well! I’ll bet he was a moonshiner in a past life lol.
good stuff! been waiting for this one. Question though, when ya'll were changing out the slave cylinder and needed a replacement why didn't you all check in the slave cylinder quarters over there by the garage?
That courier was following God's word "Be still and know that I am God"
It had still for a long time.
The smiles on both of your faces when you took that old truck for a ride together for the first time in many years was just priceless. You really should take a still shot of that moment and frame it. I bet it would be cherished by your family for generations!
Finally it's the video is here am enjoying watching...
2 thumbs up Rev, I knew you guys would git er done🏁
More fun than anyone deserves. Enjoy each video and seeing you and the old man.
Awesome! Cherish these moments and have fun with your crazy cool old man.

Hello from England ! May you keep a fellow American in your prayers please Joan Hanlon as she is in intensive care suffering kidney failure many thanks and Gods blessings
I'm so happy that you got the truck free from the hillside, got it rolling, running and driving down the dirt road! Hallelujah! Proud of you guys, you didn't give up on it! God bless you both 🙏 ❤️
lol never let the good memories go .
Enjoying our time together...
Another awesome video Amen
The road test was funny as heck!! Wow, that's amazing you two got that Courier running and driving again.
Enjoy working with you dad my dad passed away in March of 2022 and nothing is the same.
I need that 80’s Thunderbird in the background.
No engine.. just a roller.. email us if interested. Email in description
@@RevStoration I’ll definitely shoot you a email. A body is all I want.
Awesome job on getting that ford going again
Great video, glad you posted.
Glad you enjoyed it
You guys really work hard on that old truck no matter what you guys do. You guys are the best big super fan of the channel no matter what you guys do. Thanks God bless.
Thanks 👍 We are grateful for you!
That’s awesome, the sheer joy on you and your dads face riding around in that rig is priceless!
Also Rev, love that you showed us a glimpse of heaven and it’s a rusted out ford with no windshield pulled out of a hillside!
Right on! Just a glimpse of the joy here is a shadow of the joy to come there.
This thing is good, you should make it into a dedicated fishin' rig, drive it right up to the pond, got your shade tent, chairs, fishing poles and tackle, coolers for soft drinks and bait, a cleaning station and turkey fryer... a mobile fishin' tackle box. p.s. that clutch probably isn't working because the pressure plate is rusted and seized.
I'm glad that your doing something with this beautiful little truck. I love these older Ford Courrier trucks and small trucks out there, matter of fact, I feel we all should return back to building small cars and regular cab trucks with 4 cylinder engines in them. That's all ya need out there.
Greetings from Scotland Rev & Ole Man.
Well that was a marathon & not a sprint. It’s a miracle you guys got it going again, it looks to be well past it’s “sell by” date.
I think you are correct that it would take too many $ to put that back into a driveable safe condition.
It looked like you both enjoyed the challenge, so congratulations for that, and time to move onto the next one.
Cheers
Love watching you guy spend time together.
My dad passed away in 2019 hasn't been same .
That's one of best ones Rev and old man !!!
Thanks Sam!
Personally, I would have pushed the rest of that hill down on it, and Said a prayer for it, but y’all got er going… Good job..
I really enjoy watching you and your dad
Rev asking for prayers something is going on in my life please pray for me and my family

I have MS brittle bones but I thank the Lord Iam still here at 52 even if I am in a power wheelchair..

@@RevStoration He gets credit and more every morning when my caregiver gets me up and dresses me
Excellent video Rev :) , Ole Man :) also got Ford Courier truck out and carb to match take to store sells Auto Parts store match it and help to ! Check all boxes got Carb that rebuilt or new match with gasket plus all hook ups to and find right one say pay for right one and install when get to home at ! Also that Ford Courier sounds like V6 or V8 power Lol and think transmission why not shift all gears fluid need change plus Clutch plus bearings to needs replaced and be running better!
David that was a very interesting video, that truck gave you all a fight, but you guys whipped his hind end
I believe that the Pott County Legend has a wrench that he ground down and bent like a hockey stick to get at that back carb stud.
I purchased a set of stubby/short wrenches and they worked much better.
Good job getting it running. Make sure to grab your new parts before you forget where you left them…
Amen... they will be rusted the next time we crank it,, Im sure.
👍and that’s the way it’s done, son!
"I'NT ROD'NIN THAT PIECE A CRAYAP!"
