2 good, ole boys turning an Edsel into an AMC. It was great seeing these guys working together. I miss my father. He passed on 5 years ago now. My best times wrenching were always with him.
Just the very best father son relationship I have ever seen doing projects about what they love to do and the respect for one another is simply beautiful to see god bless you both ❤
I love it when you drive. The “old man” is so cautious. “Slow down, be careful, watch out!” But when he’s driving, foot to the floor and caution goes out the window. But that’s how daddy’s are. They got more confidence in themselves than the knot headed sons. 😂
Amen... He was holding on to the door like it may fly open... well it was flying open... I get it, I have a son that is driving now... Thanks for watching as always Jeff!
As someone who owns and works on an Edsel project, this fills my heart with joy to see. Thank you so much for sharing with us all, Rev! Bless you and yours!
Which one are you doing I have a 59 ranger with the 223 in the UK fantastic cars I have driven it from Nottingham to the south France with no problems you got to love a Edsel
Good Seeing You & Your Father Back At It Again On The Old Ford Edsel, I Admire Your Bond You’ve Got With Your Father Rev. Reminds Me Of The Bond I Had With My Father, Rest His Soul In Heaven, You Guys Are Good Gentleman, Enjoy The Content, Can’t Wait To See What’s Next, Be Blessed!!
When I was a teenager I knew a man who owns a 59 Ford Edsel station wagon and converted it into a pickup truck with a 1960 Ford unibody truck. It looks very original
Chill brother. My daughter calls me 'Ol Man. Music to my ears everytime I hear it. We do everything on the ranch together. I call her my Right-hand Man! She don't mind at all. Blessings.
I had a 1959 Edsel Ranger six cylinder 3 on the tree sold it about a year ago one of the nicest riding cars I ever rode in and I'm not even a Ford person
Hey COOL, a 6cyl stick shift Edsel, very unusual! I enjoy watching you and your Dad working on old iron together. How is your Dad doing since his heart issue? Take good care of him!! the Lord bless you all.
Again Mr. Revstoration you can always use the start trigger i sent you for a power feed to coil. It'll help 2 ways. One can't leave coil power on and burn up coil or as a power cut off. Work on electric fuel pump too. Great video though you two are the best
Glad to see you got the old edsel running and moving under it's own power. Great work getting an old classic to run. Been a week in ICU I had a sepsis infection of the blood and arterial heart problem aggravated by my bad immune system because of cell lymphoma I have to start chemo therapy next month.
As a Florida man I have to say Go Gators, but we love North Georgia and love seeing some good ole southerners bringing life back to Ford's. Y'all ain't too far from where them Duke boys were tearing up the dirt roads too!!
I love the father & son duo, you can see the love and passion that they share of working on these amazing older vehicles. These old cars are rolling art and needs all the love and attention they deserve, keep up the good work!!!
!lways love seeing you work on the Edsel, they seemed like cool cars to me, too bad they didn't catch on back then, so they could have made more of them!
I have a 59 Edsel station wagon, my parents bought it new and its never been restored and in very good original condition. I drive it about 500 miles each summer, as I live in MI it's put away sleeping for the winter. I also enjoyed your courier show as well because I owned one of them as well. Merry Christmas God Bless
I think this car can go a long way, the interior is really good, its solid. And you sure don't see em much anymore. It would make a good series for you guys. Love the show!
In Ohio here and love Fords Heard the old man worked at Snapper equipment. McDonough is it? I have been restoring snapper walk behinds for fun. Really the only brand worth messing with.
Glad Rev. You had success with Edsel. It’s going to be a project for awhile. But it’s a runner. Congratulations job well done. Happy Holidays! And Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Love it! That speedo cable noise has happened to us every time we get an old rig back on the road. I ruined a real nice 53 Roadmaster speedometer cause I was having too much fun to stop and unhook it!
Hey Rev, I am really liking the new beginning of you video!! But hey what a great job on the Edsel.I was smiling a bit because I remember capping off a brake wheel cylinder on my 54 Plymouth to drive home. Hey your video look very clear now just wondering if it is a new go pro? Take care!!
I gad you and the old man are back. I like the show last night it was a good one. You and the old man make a good team together. You and the old man make the best team on UA-cam together . I hope 🤞 you stay together as a team. God bless you and the old man , and the family. From Jim R.
Great video Rev! At the end where you say the 59 Edsel is a good looking car, I think you convinced me. I always preferred the 60 and the 58, but I now see the 59 has a lot of style, too. 59's are more common where I live. One is featured in the comedy movie "Used Cars." Just one thing. I notice you talk about whether an engine will "crank." But when you use the term, you mean "start." Crank simply means the starter turns the motor and has no implication of if it fires and runs.
I've always loved the 58 and the 59 Ford Edsel without horse collar grill, the wide option list the colors that you can get on them these are some beautiful cars
First thing is to see if you've got fluid leakage, then two things to maybe try, one is clean and rebuild old master, second use new master and drill into firewall for upper bolts after bolting bottom bolts in and see if it works
Also Dave :) & Ole Man :) that Speedometer cable take squealing sound take off cluster on dash and use pump can of Oil to squirt in 12 squirt of 10w30 not got buy new cable too also installed one on transmission to Speedometer cluster too! Think carb adjustment in choke flap screw & jet adjustment to also low and high idles screw ! Water Pump belt need tight up or need water pump replacement too ! Also doing lots Pop can fix up exhaust before too you lots times ! Ole Man love Edsel car design too !
Hi, Rev I love this segment. You and the Ole Man had me laughing. I hope you do more rides with the Edsel. I wish to you and the entire family a Happy Christmas season. I'll try to find you some parts for the car.
As always great video here Rev, man it just gets better and better, and you all have so much fun =) Apologies I haven’t commented in a while, but still enjoy the whole gang. =)
I know that you have heard this a thousand times before.Man you are so lucky to still have your father to work with. I lost both of my parents way back in 1995. I lost my Mom to cancer ♋️ and about three months later I lost my Dad to Parkinson. I love ❤️ and miss them every day. I have also lost five bothers to different causes. I love ❤️ and miss each and everyone of them every day. 14:13
Excellent video Intro Rev :) also got one for have you & Ole Man say we have surprises for you and go to mom bear she says what now and please be safe my 2 fabulous men in my and Nikki T says as long they eat and drink fluids come for mealtime to plus ask your 2 kids what think work with My Ole Man today let them say car and truck or anything! Then get to video too watch it surprises is !
And its not smoking either!!! No brakes??? that's,,,,,,,,,,fine....... Let me see if I got this right, Rev's Dad works on the go pedal stuff. Rev works on the whoa!! pedal stuff!!

@@RevStorationhey Rev wouldn't it be smart to drill new holes for the break resivore
Henry Ford would be proud to see that the Edsel is still going strong with you guys.
He is with us and the Ole Man loves it.

Love the new opening! ("Butts County, the tail-end of the world... 🤣 )
It is so refreshing to see the connection between both of you! I miss working with my Dad.
Fact of the matter is we love yall too. Why this channel doesnt have at least a 100000 subscribers is beyond me.
We enjoy everyone that watches and are extremely proud to have 40k... thanks for watching friend.

Nice to see you guys again. I actually like this Edsel and it's nice to see it getting some love
That old 223 six sounds pretty good.
I had a 1959 Edsel Ranger six cylinder 3 on the tree sold it about a year ago one of the nicest riding cars I ever rode in and I'm not even a Ford person

I've got the same Husky tool box as a supplement to my tools. My wife bought it for me for my birthday.

I like The unique look of the Edsel 👌

Had to stop after the intro. I really love this new intro David I really do. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better well you just topped it. ❤️.
The Edsel deserves to be restored. A rare car. A rare beautiful car. That never got the respect it deserved.
Love the intro, reminds me of them, Duke boys
I missed out on a 59 Edsel Corsair 2 door here in Idaho. 100% complete with a title. Non runner but engine wasn't stuck. It sold for 1500 I believe.
I would have bought it.. fun stuff.
@@RevStoration It sold quick!

I’ve always been told not to trust concrete blocks , solid or not. I get it , I’ve done it also but figured I’d gripe before someone else’s does. Lol
