Geoff Castellucci is a member of Voiceplay, this is Home Free. Tim Foust is the bass here, and he does a phenomenal job, but this song really features Austin Brown. Enjoyed the reaction :D
I'm 74 years old and have been listening to, and loving, Home Free since The Sing Off. The guys are awesome, but i must admit, Austin is my favorite (4 of my favorite singers are tenors). I think he's absolutely gorgeous (great smile), i love his voice, i love the little hand movements he makes when he sings, and i love the emotions he gives us in any song he sings. Just subscribed.
Geoff Castelluci is the bass from Voiceplay. Tim Foust is the bass here in Home Free. They have actually worked together on developing deeper voices, but both can sing remarkably high as well. And sorry, Austin is actually making eyes at Amberly Hall, then his girlfriend and now his wife.
Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
While during the time of the recording, nearly everyone else was shut down (due to covid), whereas Home Free continued recording utilizing recording studios at separate locations, by pulling it together like this. Very creative by the way to pull this off. Note: they choose how they will present and who will have leads in songs based on their judgement how to best present their interpretation of this cover. In the case of this song Austin is singing to his girlfriend in the studio. The continuity of Austing singing lead where the focal point of the lyrics to an individual probably played into that decision. Home Free's interpretation for their videos for the vast array of genre they perform is sensational and very entertaining. They have videos that are serious and sincere to funny and hilarious and often catch us the audience discerning that a great amount of thought went into producing to enhance the message in the delivery. They bring an emotional aspect that is fresh and thought provoking each time. They are very intentional and deliver with excellence. They simply don't put out junk, they bring it with a very high end and are very deliberate with their message of their productions. There is a lot that goes into determining who will sing lead, how much anyone will sing lead based on the song and interpretation of how they want to evoke emotion, etc and etc........ Not just done by a whim or providing equal lead time. Nice reaction...... ❣
Austin killed this. I am sure Percy Sledge would be so very proud. The rest of the guys did such awesome job at harmonies and beat boxing. Austin was looking at his girlfriend now his wife. Love your reaction.
Try their version of "The Driver" not their most popular song but fabulous harmonies and a tribute to the common working man. For a stunning arrangement "Do you Hear what I Hear" just in time for Christmas is amazing.
Emma, the bass vocalist in Home Free is named Tim Foust. Geoff Castelucci is the bass vocalist for the a capella group Voice Play. Both are incredible and both have a 5+ octave range. 😳🤯😂✌️
Such a good song. This was during Covid so I thought the use of tvs was clever. Geoff Castelucci is with VoicePlay and not Home Free. Tim Foust (gray hair here) is the bass. He’s extremely talented. All the men of Home Free are super talented. The lead here was Austin Brown (high tenor). Three of the guys are songwriters too. They all take the lead depending on the song. They sing all genres. Good one Emma!
The bass singer for HF is Tim Foust, who has a redondulous range, and a solo doo wop album. Home Free is the country band of Acapella, Voice Play, with Geoff, are the theater kids, and Pentatonix is a little of everything, but their forte is probably Christmas music. You might want to review Country Guys try singing opera, with Austin and Rob from Home Free singing Nessun Dorma.
Austin Brown, singing lead here, has a wonderful voice. Unfortunately, he retired from touring earlier this year. Founder and beatboxer - Adam Rupp and Chance, Rob and Tim, have been joined by a new high tenor, Adam Bastien and continue to release albums and tour. I suggest “Catch Me If You Can” from Home Free. There is a live version on the Paste Magazine channel. Rob, has lead on that one. The official release music video is on the HomeFree channel b
Many female reactors have gotten weak in the knees listening to this song. I can see that you really like this song😊🙃. I heard that his girlfriend was behind the camera, so that's the reason he was flirting with the camera
we all know what this luther vandross song is and the energy of it so the fact that these fellas are able to put this much spirit into it and its natural for them the musicianship being displayed here is quite remarkable even the righteous brothers would be impressed
I can't remember if you reacted to, Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow. If not you will find a different sound to their voices that you will enjoy. Nice reaction. For some unique and amazing vocals check out Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter - Tobacco Road (Live 1970). I think the best performance you'll find is 9:20 long.
Austin has more solo videos on his channel…Austin Brown. His version of “BRING HIM HOME” from Les Miserables, is Surprising ♥️‼️ He Is one Incredibly Talented Tenor. Also on his channel, he & Rob Lundquist from Home Free (the other tenor from the group, ….the one with awesome beard & glasses)…they sing Opera 😵💫‼️….”NESSUM DORMA” ♥️‼️….”Two Country Boys sing Opera 😵💫👍🙃‼️♥️ Thank you, from Texas
Everybody's talking about Tim and Geoff and their basso profundo ranges while missing the presence of a third amazing low voice in Avi Kaplan filling in for Adam Chance during the quarantine period. And actually Chance's range isn't that far off from the other three.
Here is Home Free's official youtube playlist. There's presently 195 videos here, take your pick for listening pleasure or reactions. Most are a capella but there are a few with instruments too. ua-cam.com/play/PLfWdh4XTtIqnVcLdXTjXzvv_ahtWOC2S7.html&si=zaEoU0D2Qq02PHAC
I've always loved Percy Sledge's originals (not so much Michael Bolton's cover). This was recorded separately during the Covid lockdowns. Austin's (now wife) Amberly was in the studio (that's who he's looking at). The writer of the song had a bad break-up and wrote "I gave you everything I had"; Austin sings "I'll give you everything I've got".
So, Emma - I went to a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony yesterday (the day after the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall). I didn't know this year is the 200th anniversary of its debut. Anyway, I thought of you and again would recommend you watch the movie "Immortal Beloved," with Gary Oldman starring as Ludwig van Beethoven. I think you'd like it.
I respect Percy Sledge's version as the original; nice presentation but lacks warmth (IMHO). Michael Bolton's is the version I've had on my playlist for decades. But--Home Free's version? Austin's high notes are every bit as amazing as the others. And ALL completely acapella?!? With their harmonies and Adam's vocal percussion too?!? No solo act is ever going to best their version as far as I'm concerned. Theirs is now what plays on my regular playlist. In my opinion, Home Free OWNS this song for me now❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Home Free was such a great gift to all of us--especially their extra efforts in providing us with excellent music/videos throughout quarantine and the difficult days of isolation we all dealt with during the pandemic. Their creativity in producing the "quarantine" videos--and their commitment to continuing to provide new entertainment throughout (even though they weren't even in the same state!)--has brought along many HF converts. Got to ❤️❤️❤️ Home Free!! #HomeFree
Never mind Home free, they are all over the place. Do the original by Percy Faith!! He put this classic song on the map. I'd like to see Home Free stop doing covers and start doing their own songs.
I used to be a huge fan of Home Free, I think their cover of 'Seven Bridges Road' is the best and hasn't been surpassed yet! That however was before they began to use "pitch correction" which is simply cheating. Regarding 'When a man loves a woman' - they're not pulling it off mainly because of the lead singer Austin here. It just sounds tinny and against my better judgement, I will use the word 'soulful' here - it's got no soul. There is only one guy who does the song justice and it's also a white guy: Joe Cocker! 👍🎶🎶
Nothing is quite as much fun as watching a beautiful woman getting excited about listening to a handsome man singing his heart out! Yeah. Ha.
Geoff Castellucci is a member of Voiceplay, this is Home Free. Tim Foust is the bass here, and he does a phenomenal job, but this song really features Austin Brown.
Enjoyed the reaction :D
Hi Emma 👋. This is actually a very old song 🎵. It was written by Percy Sledge in the 1950s and has been covered by many artists since. ❤😊
Home Free is a rabbit hole you need to explore!
Great rendition even as so many of us remember Percy Sledge singing this at every Friday and Saturday night dance coast to coast for 20 years.
An absolutely classic song from a bygone era of music. Deserves a top-notch effort from any artist and Home Free delivered.
For something live, I recommend their live concert version of the Sea Shanty Medley. Absolutely outstanding.
Oh Yeah!!! You are right! My Mistake!🤣
You cannot blame huim ,Amberly is a great catch..

In America, we call that sound, "Grit" or "Growl"; that is when you know the person is singing it from their heart and soul.
Thank you for gift of who you are Beautiful Lady
Deepest Love, Prayers & Blessings
Man of Constant Sorrow is a great one from them!
She already responded to that - lusting after Tim. It was great fun.

I love every one of your Home Free Reactions. More please!
lovve your reaction emma and i agree with the sentiment of this song
This was done during Covid. They are all in different places singing this. Thank you.
When Austin looks into the camera and smiles He's actually smiling at his girlfriend she's in the same room...
Miss Emma is officially a Home Fry (nick name for Home Free fans). lol
intersting fact when percy sledge first sang this it was improvised on the spot....
Geoff is the bass singer for Voice Play, he is a friend of Home Free and did the arrangement for Home Free ft the Oak Ridge Boys. Elvira
Yeah, i already realized that!😆😆😆😆 My bad
This song was during COVID lock-downs, & so Home'rs made video via Zoom style screens! ☝️😜🤞(:Home Free'rs, too;)
Everything #homefree does is amazing.
Great reaction I see you figured out your mistake. Can’t wait to hear more Home Free reactions from you. New subscriber here.
Thanks for the sub

yeah! I see it now! Sorry! It's my mistake!
Austin Brown (the lead singer) should be a superstar ! I greatly enjoyed the non-technical parts of your enjoyment of their rendition of this song !
Austin and Amberly just announced they're working on his solo album. Check that out on his site please.
Beautiful song and performance and really enjoyedy our reaction!
Hi Emma, This is amazing. I really love watching your reactions! 😊
Homefree is awesome
Geff Castellucci is not in this group he’s in Voiceplay , Tim Foust is the bass in Home Free
They are friends though.
Austin Brown, singing lead here, has a wonderful voice.
Unfortunately, he retired from touring earlier this year.

The lead singer eventually married the lady he was flirting with in the video, and then decided to leave the group in the summer of 2024.
Time to watch man of constant sorrow by home free and then you will become a home fry
LOVE Austin singing this but I must say I am MADLY IN LOVE with Michael Bolton’s version 😂😍😍😍
Many female reactors have gotten weak in the knees listening to this song. I can see that you really like this song😊🙃. I heard that his girlfriend was behind the camera, so that's the reason he was flirting with the camera
You might like Rob and Austin singing "Nessun Dorma "...

Watching your facial expressions. This is one of those performances when a woman should be on birth control.
The low voice in Home Free is Tim Foust. Besides his typical subterranean bass he can sing extremely high as well. Shocking
You should check out Austin Brown's Bring Him Home!
How sweet it is~
Austin is a cutie 🔥🔥❤❤
They are an Acapella group.. Everything you hear is coming from their voices
Excellent reaction later beautiful.❤️😎🇺🇸
Geoff is with VOICEPLAY

If you like Acapella music, you should check out Voiceplay and Pentatonix . Since Christmas is approaching I suggest Holy night for Pentatonix.
This was done a few years ago during the quarantine period and Austin was alone in the studio singing to Amberly.
Austin has more solo videos on his channel…Austin Brown. His version of “BRING HIM HOME” from Les Miserables, is Surprising ♥️‼️ He Is one Incredibly Talented Tenor. You must do more reactions of Home Free. Consider Man of Constant Sorrow. Love your channel for some time now.
Everybody's talking about Tim and Geoff and their basso profundo ranges while missing the presence of a third amazing low voice in Avi Kaplan filling in for Adam Chance during the quarantine period. And actually Chance's range isn't that far off from the other three.
Was singing to his fiancé, standing next to the camera.
Hi Emma - you must listen to Deep Purple "Child in time" and "Lazy" from the Machine Head album. Also "Stairway To Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.
Ok)), 👍
Found her! Most beautiful girl on UA-cam! 😍😘🥰😘😍
Here is Home Free's official youtube playlist. There's presently 195 videos here, take your pick for listening pleasure or reactions. Most are a capella but there are a few with instruments too.

Emma, you should react to Journey's When You Love a Woman. Steve Perry's vocals are sublime. So much power and emotion. Emma!!! ❤️😍🥰💗

That look is for the camerwoman, whom he married later.
Please check out the original performed by Percy Sledge
Try the Persuasions, Win Your Love For Me. Acapella goodness.
Tim Foust is bass not Castelluci.
He brought his girlfriend along for inspiration and was singing and pointing to her.
So, Emma - I went to a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony yesterday (the day after the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall). I didn't know this year is the 200th anniversary of its debut. Finally, LOL, Hang on!
try stevie ray vaughn little sister suggestion

I would like to suggest The Ride or Fathers and Sons by Chris Ledoux
You need to listen to Boyz To Men Cover of End Of The Road by Home Free.....will blow your mind.
Я первый ! 😎
🤩🙋🏼♀️🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶
You are great! Try original of this song by Percy Sledge, cover by Spencer Davis Group and another cover by Leslie West.
I still insist that you should do a reaction to the song "viking" by the band 'Slaughter to Prevail'! Check this one out!😂
you don't have to be that technical , a lot of how you feel is part of it !
T Rex. Monolith.
Nope nope nope. If it’s not PERCY SLEDGE, it’s not any good.
You do realize this is an a capella group?
Of course 😜🤣✨
He is good but I still preferr Percy Sledg
Less pauses 😊
Wrong group Emma , Castelucci is not in this group.
Yes, now I see it))) 🤪
Good voices but terrible lip sync for video.
The ultimate simp song.
The title said reaction, not analysis. They are famous and don't need analyzed.
Never mind Home free, they are all over the place. Do the original by Percy Faith!! He put this classic song on the map. I'd like to see Home Free stop doing covers and start doing their own songs.
No instruments .. beat box guy does all percussion.
Try man of constant sorrow. You'll see the bass in action as well as beat box guy. Amazing vid
