Have you used the Ball leak- proof (dark gray) lids for storage and what is your opinion on them? Do you reuse the metal lids after canning for storage or only new ones?
I have flour in freezer and want to transfer to jars. Do I need to bring to room temp so as no condensation? What is best way? Love your channel. Thank you for your wisdom.
I tried your wash/dry/jar method on spinach, carrots, strawberries and more. My jars have condensation inside while in the refrigerator, is this Ok? The spinach looks wilted from being dried, does it come back at some point in the glass container or if I run water over it in the sink before using?
The spinach should be fine, when it is in the fridge it should look better again, I don't put water on it again after washing. Thanks for watching and commenting! I have a whole video here too if that helps: ua-cam.com/video/SN8pN5Tlcr0/v-deo.html
Hi, Amy! I have left everything to dry for hours, they feel dry when I put them into the jars, and the jars still develop condensation on the inside. I put a fresh paper towel on the bottom of the jars as well. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi, if you wash and dried according to the instructions and still getting some condensation it is ok, you can take the lid off in the fridge for a couple of hours. I talk more about this in the strawberries video that is pinned to the top of our channel
This was helpful. Can you share what jar you would use to store cereal? My kids love cereal they stick to Kashi which a family size is 21 oz. Or even 32oz of oatmeal. Thanks!
I normally use 1/2 gallon or gallon size jars for cereal/granola. The gallon size fit a full cup measuring cup easier. We have both listed on our Amazon storefront www.thecrosslegacy.com/starthere
Pint and 1/2 have become my favorite!!
I love them
Walmart prices on Mount Olive pickles: 1 gal jar = 7.97
128 oz jar = 5.47
Isn't that crazy it is up 60% I had checked on it after I was talking about it in the video

Does your trick for removing the smell from pickle jar lids work for spaghetti sauce lids too?
