They can not hit. Not a single bat to come off the bench all season. The bullpen is filled with guys who cannot strike anyone out or throw strikes. The value of a pitcher entering a game in relief with men on base, and he pitches to contact. A ball put in play can find a way to beat you, particularly when facing hitters and teams that put bat on ball. This has been problematic for the yankees all season. I don't think a single reliever for the Yankees has enters a game inheriting runners and not allowed the runner to score the entire season.
