They can suddenly stop performing, stop running, start missing open goals unexplainable, knowing that Ruud is looming to take over and let them “express themselves” for a month - read, put in less effort for the same money.
Also, it's not like van Nistelrooy has proven anything as a manager. Was alright with PSV for one year and then coached United to 9 goals in 10 games, while looking as clueless as ten Hag.
Dead right mate. Your experience at carrington watching these players hasn’t gone unnoticed. My pal has a fifa pro clubs that’s missing a manager you want in?
Good point! We've seen that these players down tools at the drop of a hat knowing they'll never be held accountable. The Ruud "out" for them is a genuine concern.
My God, it is like groundhog dog. STOP TALKING ABOUT MAN UNITED. Might as well be Sky United Football. Neville can't talk about anything else. Given up on The Overlap too, it was so painful
If man united had been regularly at/near the top last few years, this and The Overlap would get nowhere near as many views. We're here to gloat over the doom and gloom. 😂
We are only waiting for Liverpool to come up against any of the top teams. Oh wait.... It really pains him to see what Arne Slot are doing with Liverpool. They are better than ever and playing without Jota and arguably the best keeper in the world. It will be a fight but Liverpool are looking alright.
Don't worry liverpool players do this every year they start of strong then halfway they give up then at the end they start winning by then other teams can capatilze on it
At the end of the day, up to where we are now, at this moment in time, during this process of the philosophy, Gary Neville is consistently performing at a world class level of Neville!! This is arguably one of his best performances!!
He is harsher on United than everyone else. Youd swear United got hammered today, had the better chances and could have one but neville and Keane have butchered them.
@Foldy435 he doesn't work for United and never has. If you could get past your immature bias and actually listen to what he says you'd realise that he's unreasonable in his criticism of United a lot of the time. Obviously that does not suit your agenda.
Neville: United still finish higher than Liverpool..... He say this as an ""expert"" and still got the job. THATS SOMETHING !!! WOAW ! What a genius...
Player for player, it is better. Fernandes is a better creative option than Liverpool have. Mainoo will probably peak higher than Gravenberch or Mac Alistair. Casemiro was formerly great though not so much anymore. Ugarte looks like a good Mascherano type player. It's just that United don't know how to organise a team like Liverpool. If the United midfield played for Klopp they would do very well for example.
I'm a Liverpool fan and Brighton have a better midfield than us , with the ball and without it for years now, they give us headaches in every game...But ours is levels beyond United's no doubt about it
Ruben plays 3 at the back. High wing backs with inside forwards. This system will be exposed. What Ruben will see that players he is going to managed won't have what it takes. He will get a few wins that will get the hype going but soon it will be back to normal. He will be sacked within two years.
@@relax9674I can’t believe how bad De Ligt and Martinez both are yet I’m constantly being told how good they both are it’s crazy. But say nothing don’t spoil it 👌
Why will the system be exposed? Whats wrong with 3 at the back? Conte won the premier league with that system, Tuchel the Champions League, Atalanta the europa league, Bayer leverkusen went unbeaten in a one horse league.
I’ve no idea where people get this confidence in Arsenal from, never won anything and have been very poor this season. They’ve now got to make up 7 points on a mightily impressive Liverpool side and 5 on the best side England has seen. What are we doing here.
Probably because after next weekend Arsenal would’ve played 8 of the top ten teams and only two of them at home. Whereas Liverpool have played 5 of the top ten teams and 4 of them at home. Let’s see what the league says after the half way game has been played
@liberalslayer7220 you may have played these teams and you’ve come out of it with a poor points tally. You’ve also looked poor visually in many of these games, nothing makes me even think you’d finish above Liverpool without the 7 point gap, never mind with. Thats not even mentioning making 5 points on city who are a far better team anyway. No chance.
@ I’m not an Arsenal fan but I can see the difference between the teams in general this season. Not one of the 3 teams has been playing anywhere near the top level this season. Liverpool have been lucky in the games against Chelsea wolves Arsenal and Brighton. Arsenal have been not convincing in the games against Brighton Leicester Southampton and looked very poor in the games they lost. Manchester City have been lucky in the games against Arsenal wolves Fulham Newcastle. I think they could all struggle this season and I think Chelsea is a top team that has the squad to deal with potential injuries and the way Nottingham Forest have been playing maybe they have a slight chance of doing a Leicester
@@JsbsbJnshayah you might laugh but they’ve only had a goal more scored against them than Liverpool and have played Liverpool Chelsea Brighton away from home and not lost a game. It’s a joke to right them off so flippantly when they have a lot less games to play and are not letting in goals. I think there’s a lot of tougher games against the mid table teams that seem to have improved to higher standards than the top teams have. The likes of Brighton Bournemouth Fulham and forest have been taking points from the teams that finished in the top 8 last year.

Youd think United and Chelsea were the only game this weekend. One of the most drama filled weekends of the premier league so far and 66% of the way in he's still on about United.
Gary Neville's prediction was deemed laughable as he asserted that Manchester United would secure a top four finish. Many found it ironic considering their poor performance. Critics suggest Neville should temper his confidence.
Why’s everyone on about arsenals injuries? There’s only odegaard that’s a starter. The others are squad players and they’re defenders. Liverpools best 4 (salah, VVD, alisson & trent) missed 28 games last season and we only fell away from the tittle race the last 4/5 games.. arsenals best 4 (saliba, saka, rice & odegaard) missed 6 games… yet we lost less games than arsenal. It was the draws that hurt us.
I could be wrong Mr.Neville but I don’t know of any other teams that wanted Anthony,Zirkzee,De Ligt,Mount, Malacia,Reguilón,Weghorst, Casemiro,Sabitzer,Ugarte,Yoro, Onana, Martínez etc and if they did I’m sure they wouldn’t have cost €620mil to do so
Gary talking about Ruud interviews but completely passing by Ralfs... Ralfs press conferences were the modern sir alex for us. He said it how it is, wasnt scared of saying anything... even going against the glazers
I don't think any United fan could care about what Garnacho and Rashford do on the ball. The whole world knows that. They'll eat up 10 chances and score once per game. Good teams won't give them any chances. They need to do a lot off the ball to warrant their place in the team.
Gary is right, Liverpool were top last season for most of the season then fell away around march/April and arsenal and City went to last game of season. 10 games is nothing very early days. The top 3 will be City, arsenal and Liverpool but unsure on the order.
Nop it's a blatant lie. You can see im a Liverpool fan but i watch a lot of Gary Neville's show. He's been roasting him for ManU and England quite often
Not sure if he saw the game. We had quite a few chances - we simply can't convert them. So attack attack attack is happening - just not score score score.
@em_si nah just sick of hearing "were Manchester United" for years now. Get over it. You are a mid table team at best. When and if you win games it's not impressive or dominant. It's boring football week in and week out. And it's an embarrassment for the money spent and history you once had.
Of course they look like they've never played together. Ten Hag, ever since he took charge, never started the same 11 for more than 3 consecutive matches. There were 11 different pairings in the united back line, 6 different midfield selections, sometimes Garnacho would start, other times Rashford would, other times Antony, many times you didn't know who played on what wing. And never started the sane striker for more than 2 matches. The only two people that have been constants, having to deal with all the changes around them have been Bruno and Onana, and Bruno too was constantly switched around. We can say all we want about the players but truth is, that team were denied of any stability and permanence. They do not know what kind of balls to play into whom, do not know who gets to mark whom when tracking back, do not know how to play into one another's strengths. I hope the new head coach fixes that. Every other team in the league has a favored starting 11. United doesn't know what its starting 11 are.
He rarely, if ever, had the chance to use the same starting 11 for more than 3 matches due to injuries or behavioural problems with Sancho, Ronaldo etc.
The notion that manchester united are still some sort of 'entitled' giant is becoming more and more unrealistic with the passing of each and every week/month/year. If I were a united supporter (and I'm most definitely not) I would consign myself to at least three years of complete rebuild and reassessment of the club's expectations and aspirations.
They still have it in their heads that someone is gonna get them back to the Fergie era when in reality that was and will be the best era in the clubs history never to be repeated. They’re just one of the pack now, and fairly low in the pack if we’re honest.
Everyone associated with Manchester United are still living in the past. Gary talking about there's a style of play you need to adhere to when playing for United, yes, in the past. The football world has changed dramatically post Fergie, it is almost a completely different game now being played at a completely different level. Man U have been lost in the transition of change since Ferguson left, same thing happened with Forest & Leeds in the early 2000s. Manchester United aren't the global power or brand they were once were and the club and everyone associated need to start accepting that reality. Man United are a mid table club now at best. The way the club is ran from top to bottom is dated, the way the club sources its players is dated, the way the club handles its transfers is dated. How you even still talking about Fergie 12 years since he was last there? It's astounding. The club needs to completely restructure from the inside out.
@@ollierivera96 bitter and jealous mate, Still united has the highest revenue of any english club the 3rd highest in the world, they are still a big brand, All it takes is one good coach to change things, Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona are prime example of that

Whole generation of kids growing up around the recent successes of Man City, Liverpool and Real Madrid. Man United have been poor for over a decade and as each season passes United seem to fall further behind. Your problems are deeper routed than just a lack of style of play. The difference with the teams you have named is that structurally those clubs weren't broken from the inside hence why the transition into new managers has come with ease. Manchester United are broken from within which won't be solved with the incoming of any manager which many of your former players have agreed with.

@ behave lad Jesus🤣🤣
@@JsbsbJnshayah you might laugh but they’ve only had a goal more scored against them than Liverpool and have played Liverpool Chelsea Brighton away from home and not lost a game. It’s a joke to right them off so flippantly when they have a lot less games to play and are not letting in goals. I think there’s a lot of tougher games against the mid table teams that seem to have improved to higher standards than the top teams have. I don't think any United fan could care about what Garnacho and Rashford do on the ball. The whole world knows that. They'll eat up 10 chances and score once per game. Good teams won't give them any chances. They need to do a lot off the ball to warrant their place in the team.

@@THazebomb And mid table teams can still have 70 thousand people showing up to watch them. Get over it.
Gary Neville has had two years to say they look like they’ve never trained together. It’s been blindingly obvious!
We skipping the Gary Neville podcast this week because he sounds like Marlon Brando in the GodFather?
The notion that manchester united are still some sort of 'entitled' giant is becoming more and more unrealistic with the passing of each and every week/month/year.

They still have it in their heads that someone is gonna get them back to the Fergie era when in reality that was and will be the best era in the clubs history never to be repeated. They’re just one of the pack now, and fairly low in the pack if we’re honest.
@@QTC1688 Totally agree
@@ollierivera96 bitter and jealous mate, Still united has the highest revenue of any english club the 3rd highest in the world, they are still a big brand, All it takes is one good coach to change things, Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona are prime example of that
@@1905binny Nothing to do with bitterness and jealousy. I'd call for a fact check on those numbers because I can categorically tell you that United aren't the global brand they once were.
