Thanks for checking out the video! Daniel is amazing. For a list of gear that Daniel used in this interview check the links in the youtube description!
I not only love Daniels playing but his ability to communicate with passion, clarity and a voluminous vocabulary. So many players unfortunately are incapable of lucidity.
I have studied many online guitar teachers and I just want to say that Daniel is a very effective communicator, so often information is given partially. It's so cool he shares how he thinks about what he is doing. Self Awareness. The old Zen saying. " when the student is ready" I would love to hear Daniel's thoughts on approaches singer-songwriters can improve or approach playing lead with rhythm while performing without a band.
I’m just starting to get into country at age 47. This gentleman caught my attention with his more psychedelic approach. But to see his enthusiasm and knowledge just makes me want to pick up my guitar and play. Even though I’m horrible at it. He inspires. Wonderful interview
Thank You - Thank You So far one of my favorite live lessons. Brings my double stops to be more "countryish" And a special TY to all the live viewers. I'm proud to be a part of this community.
String instruments particular guitars have a spirit that connect you to other guitar players. that same spirit make a guitarist to know instantly with no doubt that a guitar is hanging somewhere in any environment even without seeing guitar. Only guitarist know when the guitar calls!!
I just came across Daniel Donato recently and was really happy to see this video. Learned quite a few things, thank you for sharing this! I've subscribed to your channel as well and look forward to seeing more of your videos.
BTW Daniel's Masters of the Telecaster comes with a DVD with him basically showing you all the lessons in the book.. its well worth the cost.. FYI Great Vid!
God save this young man of money thirsty jackals...and for you Daniel my personal message: do not go so fast in anything, calm down otherwise people will burn you in no time and spit you on the street. There is much more about life than the guitar, do not forget this!!
just had this vision of Daniel Donato with a Les Paul, was i dreaming or did anyone else see it ? Playing great as ever but with a Les Paul, strange.......
Valley Arts Brent Mason signature tele, modeled after his primer 63' tele that he bought for 400$ back in the late 70's after someone tried to repaint it and they just traded it in and Brent left it and had a Seymour pu put in the middle position, and an Gibson LP humbucker in the neck, in the 80's Brent put a Kahler trem but he said it sucked the life right out of it. He had the original bridge put back on. In the late 90's to mid 00's valley arts sold a close replica for $3-4K and Daniel's is an amazing 60's CS in seafoam green
He had to scuff that guitar up intentionally!! Or he has a blind drunk for a guitar tech. Love his playing and passion for music. Check him out on instagram too he is always posting cool stuff.

Well said. He seems a combination of philosopher and artist. It's so rare to hear a 25 year-old clearly communicating in complete sentences.
Yes.
I love this young mans energy! He’s such an amazing talent and his passion is contagious. 🙏
Definitely!

What kind of guitar cable is that?
I believe it is an Analysis Plus cable. He talked about it around 12:30. Analysis Plus puts out great cables.
What are some funky hybrid picking country artists I should listen to?
Which Supro amps did you and Daniel use?
Reminds me of James Burton

That was the guitar he picked out to play!
I love to know what model telecaster it is.

Yes, Daniel's a brilliant player and a great guy!
I love your channel. You always have the best guitarists on here. Daniel is definitely one of them!
That is all playing no relic action. When you play almost 500 gigs 4 hrs ea gig that will put some wear on a guitar.
you guys are not "there" right?
This was a previous live lesson from a while back. We have live guitar lessons most Tuesday nights at 7pm Central on this channel.
Ya me too.. he played so well
This kid looks like a Jack White but with way more Talent and less pretentiousness
