This is great. I love to see great players working in the studio. Robben’s recent instagram posts from working on ‘Pure’ are another great example. We are so lucky to be living in an age when the internet has made all of this available to the world. And thank you to Robben and Daniel for letting us in.
I always get crazy everytime I watch this video! I mean, did you guys notice that these both great players played the very same guitar through the very same amp, hitting some of the very same notes in the very same song and they both sounded entirely different!??! That's why I love guitar: it is the most expressive instrument ever made!
Sweet solos Daniel! Cool to have an inside look at this album project. And man, that Les Paul.....gorgeous, creamy thick tone for days. Robben has the magic touch. I love it!
Good on Daniel for doing this, not easy making these things happen and especially with someone like Robben, pretty nerve racking, make those dreams happen, no one else will do it for you :-)
In the perfect world of protools it has to be really tough to be a producer working with real players - the music is alive and if you hold it too tightly you can kill it - Robben knows how to let it breathe. Great to see these vids🖖

That was some tasty playing there. Isolated, it seemed like a lot, but in the mix it was so good!

That guitar has an earthing problem! This is pointless with hearing the changes they are playing through.......
