- We've been following the Red Demon for years now, and it never ceases to amaze us EVERY time we wind up at the same race track. 4 cylinders, manually shifted, and it BLOWS the V8's out of the water every time! Guess thats what 1800hp and 85psi will get you..oh and a dedicated team + driver mod :P

I'm such a Red Demon fan. When I'm eliminated at competitions it is ok, because I can switch to spectator mode and watch Devin break records. His family is awesome. Love seeing the whole team at the track.

@@whysoserious3x Yup and as someone else in the comments has mentioned alot of the v8 cars that are in that hp range also have a ton more torque. So its really hard to put the power down.

So what do engines tuned up sacrifice for their power compared to a high displacement W16 engine for example?
Why don't popular super cars put those engines in if they're so good?

If so then is there really a replacement for displacement if you have to work on the engine all the time?

Krimson Wolf they said something on cleetus channel that the turbo was maxing out a 7 bar map which is closer to 100 psi billet blocks are no joke
The boost is almost as many pounds of my ex-girlfriend in high school.
A 7 bar reads 87ish psi
Tyler Webb 7 bar maxes out at 101psi
@@nitrousboy0311 7 bar is about 101 PSI. But you have to subtract about 14 PSI for atmospheric pressure. So a 7 bar map sensor will read up to about 87 PSI (what you would see on a boost guage).

I don't remember Eagle Talon's being reliable, this car beaten to death, pass after pass, is an achievement on it's own
Devin built this car right, billet block, most likey billet transmission case, and billet transfer case, probably a caseharden steel or some other ludicris steel input shaft/out put shaft. Most likey has about $60,000-$85,000 in custom billet driveline parts
There's dozens of things that impress me about the Demon but one thing I'm always blown away at is the little tyres. You look at the tyres on other 4WD drag cars running 7/8s they're massive.

I feel like he just needs to cut some weight, do some suspension magic, and get some aero. Leroy's engine makes around 1700hp. It runs 7's, but not consistently at all.
Every pass is so fucking wild.
So impressive that he can even get that thing down the track at all.

Biggest thing for them is going to be getting some more weight on the back tires. Needs at least a partial body too, but I'm not super hopeful on that one
Needs a proper suspension set up. Stop chasing dyno numbers and have suspension tuned.

Let's be honest if it didn't have that amazing little Mitsubishi motor it would be just another heap of shit. Colin Wilshire is knocking on the door of 5s in his 4G63 powered Eclipse now. They are one of Japan's greatest engines IMO, up there with the 2JZ.

That Red Demon is just that, a demon. It's a rocket ship off the line and the only cars that gave it a run for the money was the yelllow Mustang and white Camaro. Congrats for the win and Cleetus better up his game 100 fold to beat this guy.
