Usually would have eggs in my breakfast and dinner, and I've lost hella weight to an I do just like 30min-1hr of medium intensity exercise a day. Literally, if you find any of those professional bodybuilders or trainers eggs are a large part of their regular diets.

      @@jnewgot "Period" denotes time. A menstrual period is a 'period' (a section of measured time) because the menstruation occurs "periodically". It doesn't mean "blood" or "ovum" . Ergo- a "Poultry Period " describes the 'time' in which a chicken ovulates...i.e., produces an egg, no different from a mammal, albeit, internally rather than externally....so to say that "Fowls don't have periods" , contradictorily, is subjective in itself. I know that Egg Boards and Egg Companies have websites that try to dispute this, but most of us out on the street know that marketing is predominately BS.

    I definitely support the message put forth here and the case against eggs, however I think you should stick to interviews of MDs and PhDs when trying to make a strong argument. A few of the individuals interviewed do not add weight to the scientific argument, and in fact make the video an easy target for critics. Interviews of non-licensed medical professionals definitely have their place, but IMHO; not here.

      IDC what people say I eat between 3-6 eggs a day for like the last year, I would always cook them like scrambled eggs with milk and a bit of butter after. Usually would have eggs in my breakfast and dinner, and I've lost hella weight to an I do just like 30min-1hr of medium intensity exercise a day. Literally, if you find any of those professional bodybuilders or trainers eggs are a large part of their regular diets. the studies and scientist i see all over that say this and that will happen if you eat eggs never happened to me or any of all the people i know who have eggs as the main part of their diet. After i added more eggs into my diet i've been losing so much weight and getting so much healthier, idk shit about science but i've see the results and experienced them

    This is so completely polarized and one sided it drives the majority away from learning about or considering shifting more towards a plant based diet. You can spout propaganda and solidify your base that are already sold on your message or you can be open minded and have a discussion that brings everyone closer to the truth. It is clear that these people are choosing to spout propaganda.
    Things like 6:55 show a truly emotional and illogical driving force behind some of these views.

    I just made a video of what I make for breakfast I'm 70 years old. It's on my website. I have always ate lots of eggs in my life. My mom used to cook me a dozen eggs for breakfast when I was a kid. I haven't been to a doctor in over 55 years. How come I'm not dead yet? Why am I completely healthy?

    • @jnewgot

    • @SawmillerSmith

      Xavier , I have my own chickens. Besides eggs her fairly cheap around here and United States.

    • @jnewgot
      @jnewgot 6 років тому +1

      Having your own is one thing, but still twelve a day? That's a lot of eggs to be collecting.
      Cheap usually means poor quality. I spend upwards of $6 a dozen, if I can't get pastured I don't eat eggs.

    • @SawmillerSmith
      @SawmillerSmith 6 років тому +1

      Xavier , so even at $6 a dozen X 30 days in a month comes to $180 a month for grocery bill. I I would guess most people spend more than $180 a month on your grocery bill. What do you think?

      they are high in cholesterol. two large eggs contain 370 mgs and thats before you add the butter and cheese. your daily limit of cholesterol is 300 mgs if you are fit and 200 if you are overweight. even if you have only one egg you leave yourself almost no room for the rest of day. one cup of chicken breast has 123 mgs of cholesterol. lol that TWICE what you find in 85% lean beef patty on hamburger

    it's silly how half of these people point out the cholesterol as a negative factor, meanwhile, the other half points out how inconsequential the cholesterol in the eggs are. some of them also concern themselves with the insulin response of the protein, however if any of these doctors eat carbohydrates, then they have much more to worry about when it comes to insulin.
    also, the reason you eat eggs is because of the variety of vitamins and minerals they contain. this is why you should be eating any food really

    I always found it hard to get all my recommended nutrients before going vegan. Like I didn't understand how it was even possible to get 100% all the time or even on occasion. I ate a lot of eggs to get protein and to feel fuller. But veggies and stuff just have a high ratio of nutrients to calories. So when you're just eating veggies and fruits and legumes and whole grains, you have to eat more of them to get enough food. It does seem like a lot at first, but then you're like I'm hungry and realise it's not lol. And you end up reaching all your nutrients goals easy peasy, save for maybe b12 which i had to take even before I went vegan.

    Why are they asking M.D.s and not Registered Dietitians. Half these so called medical professionals have not a clue what they are talking about. When it comes to eggs, they have a 1:1 amino ratio in which they contain EVERY SINGLE essential amino acids your body needs to create high-quality proteins in the body. Same is for the amino ratio in milk. I'm NOT saying a plant-based diet is bad, I actually follow one myself! I'm saying there is nothing wrong with eating eggs as long as you not eating 4+ per serving. They do have cholesterol - keep that in mind.

      AND FINALLY after watching the full video I can honestly say that this video is biased against all animal proteins. PLANT-BASED diets ARE THE BEST DIETS. However, you cannot let that stop you from eating a simple egg. Yes, you can compliment proteins all day to get your essential aminos. But if you are already following such a great plant-based diet, all the fiber from your previous meals will latch on to the cholesterol and saturated fat causing you to excrete it in your feces. Not to mention all the plant sterols you are getting that are already blocking the cholesterol receptors in your gut. Take it from a Registered Dietitian and not a medical provider.
