I also suffered from asthma horribly until I discovered plant-based eating at 43. If only someone would have told me prior to just cut out the meat and dairy. When I think of all the suffering and money spent on inhalers, allergy injections, ENT visits, etc., resolved a month after I made the change. That was one of my most positive outcomes among many others from cutting out the meat and dairy.

I have a vegetarian friend with life long asthma and the couple times I suggested trying to eliminate dairy to see if there is an improvement she immediately shot it down. Not even open to discussion. She literally didn't want to hear it as if she believes there is no science behind it.
She consumes a lot of dairy, mostly in the form of cheese.
I believe she'd prefer to suffer than give up dairy.
Her choice, what can I say.

After eight weeks following their respective diets, the twin siblings who ate a vegan diet had lost more weight, reduced their LDL, or "bad" cholesterol, and experienced lower insulin levels, according to the study's findings. "The findings from this trial suggest that a healthy plant-based diet offers a significant protective cardiometabolic advantage compared with a healthy omnivorous diet," the study's authors wrote. As a strict (WHOLE FOODS ONLY) vegan, I consume triple the amount of protein that my body needs. No need for soy or tofu (and if you do consume it, make sure its organic). Every single small leafy green, every fruit, every seed, ALL HAVE ALL OF THE ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS. 0% POSSIBILITY to be deficient in protein on a healthy plant-based diet. Especially vegan junk foods, have even more protein (but less vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes, trace minerals etc). Protein EXCESS is actually VERY harmful in so many ways, primarily nitrogen conversion to ammonia= excess bypassing our BBB (blood brain barrier causing hyperammonemia in the brain = brain damage, acidosis etc.). Protein is a subject we should NOT even be talking about. What's of utmost importance is to consume enough calories for our daily needs. Been studying in the biochem/molecular biology field for over 10 years, one can learn A LOT and debunk most myths and misconceptions, especially about the SCAMS of "evolution" and "climate change". Nobody talks about animal protein (specifically meat and dairy) that contain molecules (xeno-autoantigens = foreign to human physiology), triggering auto-immune and inflammatory processes as soon as entering the body, so chronic consumption of meat/dairy = chronic inflammation and all the health disasters that come along ! Even cholesterol is a scam (statin drug industry invention). It does NOT reveal inflammation or artery blockages, most fatal heart attacks had so-called "normal" cholesterol levels. CRP is the blood test (marker) to take = C-Reactive Protein = high sensitivity inflammation marker. Optimal levels between 0 and 0.8. My father reversed his aggressive cancer after following my advice to go fully plant-based, took him only 8 months and he totally reversed it. Many reversed their thyroid, liver, kidney disorders, their MS, they Crohn's disease etc etc by switching to a plant-based diet (whole foods), and many reversed their allergies, asthma etc etc. The benefits of WHOLE PLANT FOODS are enormous ! Better by natural/organic though without GMO's and PESTICIDES !

I’m curious about your daily eating habits. How do you balance your macronutrients and ensure you're meeting all your nutritional needs while consuming triple the amount of protein? Do you rely on specific plant sources, or do you have particular strategies for combining foods to optimise nutrition?

Great video. What do you think of Dr. Klaper's view that years of eating meat results in the "downregulation" of the body's natural ability to create the non-essential amino acids creatine and carnitine (present in large amounts in meat but not plants), which, when a person switches to a plant-only diet, can result in "meat cravings" and perhaps other health issues that might explain why some people seem not be able to "thrive" on a vegan diet. Though most people's physiology is able to "upregulate" this ability to create creatine and carnitine, some may take a year or more to do so, and therefore won't "thrive" on a vegan diet until they do.

the truth is there is only two ways for muscle synthesis to happen - protein intake and exercising the muscle. without the exercise the muscle won't grow - so where your protein comes from is entirely a personal decision, there is no 'right' or 'wrong' protein, the only caveat is in a calorie controlled diet, you can't get enough from plants - I can't get 134 grams a day (122-144) by plants alone without adding 1000 calories to my diet, so it's animal protein for me, simply because its more bang for the calorie.

I have had good health, no meds, no junk food/processed and boxed and factory made foods. I believe this is who vegetarians and carnivors should be against. However at 70 years old I developed inflamation in my knee joints, both stiffness and pain. So by luck I came accross Carnivor Bloggers and tried it. My goodness it worked within days. I had no idea that carbs turn to sugars in the body. A vegetarian diet is by nature carb heavy. Lots of fruit and veg, nuts, seeds, lagumes which are sugar and oxalate loaded. I knew nothing about Oxalates (see Sally Norton) the Oxalate dumping was horendous! Through my eyes and scull. It went on for many weeks. Now receeded somewhat. Do I regret 40plus years as a vegatarian? No it gave me good health. Do I regret becomming a Carnivor? Not at this moment in time(6 months in). Likewise I've seen vegan cardiologists admitting a high quality carnivore is better than the standard western diet. The ethical question is something else. The stat's (from combined flawed/limited tests) suggest a plant based diet is best for longevity - vegan or veggie. Carnivore can be great for health too. Ultra processed food is the real enemy. We just have to get the processed foods out of our diets. If you grow your own meat that's something different altogether. It's the way meets are processed in the factories now that is killing us. If we still hunted our meat down like our ancestors did, that would make a world of difference with what's happening to our bodies. I'm a vegan and even I believe that

@@aboutsupplies Just because you live a long time does not mean you live a good life. My Father lived to age 84 and was a heavy smoker and drinker for a good part of his life. But he had a heart attack at 61, several strokes starting at about 70 and diabetes. He couldn't see out of one eye, hear, or use the right side of his body for about 14 years. He also had several bouts of cancer which eventually took his life. You can live with modern medicine, but the quality is not very good. He loved his meat. If you want to live well, eat whole food plant based.

The 7th day Adventists are often studied because they are health conscious, don’t drink alcohol or smoke, and eagerly participate in studies. The ADVENTIST HEALTH STUDY 2 found the more animal products the 7th day Adventists removed from the human diet, the lower the body weight and the lower the risk of type 2 diabetes. Participants: 96,000 Adventists living in the U.S. and Canada.
