Seriously. At minimum 5000 miles, but all my vehicles I do at 3k for peace of mind. Pushing intervals to 10k on a high performance forced induction engine is wild..
The Michelins have a 30k treadwear warranty. They won't last that long. Best I can do is about 20k. Good news is if you call michelin and file a warranty claim, they'll give you a 40% off coupon for your next 4.
I checked and the warranty does not apply to the tires a car comes with brand new. If the tires cant be rotated (V3 is staggered) then the treadwear warranty is cut down half. After that they pro rate the tires based on how much tread is left. They also dont pay for labor. Theres so much fine print they will never pay much if at all.
Heard the word detuned and I immediately thought...my XTS Vsport has the same engine as the ATS-V and the new CT4 -V Blackwing. Also crazy it that some local oil change spot wanted $90 for an oil change. GM runs online discounts so I get my tires rotated and new Mobil1 for $60.
Nice man! I have an 18 CTS V Championship Edition. I never worry about gas. Smiles per gallon. Have you looked into CF side skirts? It gives it a nice touch added to the car. I just took off the cover on mine yesterday. Been sitting for 6 months. The weather in Seattle, WA sucks. I'm going to take it for a spin in a few hours.
Dope video. Always had a love for these things. How does she hook in the rain? Been on the market for a reliable daily sedan/wagon and I'm stuck between this and an e63s wagon. Now ofcourse the wagon is more costly but it makes up for it with awd/rwd options and more space overall. I'm in the northeast so a daily that can handle all weather conditions is a must for me and I'm not sure how good the V would do in wintery conditions.
If you are gonna drive in winder conditions I would go with the E63s wagon. Those cars are amazing. I have seen people drive the CTS V In snow, and I feel In the rain the car feels kinda scary if I wanted to go fast. That’s just me though…
Two oil changes in 20,000 miles is not a great thing for a high horsepower engines. In my humble opinion 3 to 5000 miles tops for every oil change ____ Because. . Oil changes are a hell of a lot cheaper than engine changes…. But anyway a great show and cool ass car dude… Keep on rockin.

Tbh, it depends on how much production they do on the blackwing V. These may continue to hold good value
Good take 👍🏽
There still holding strong
Hold on to that one 👏Might possibly be the last of the big hp Cadillacs
CT5 Blackwing is coming out later this year. Same supercharged engine making about 670hp. That will be the last supercharged engine from Gm
i want one of these so damn badly

That's a hella good price on Michelins. Paid 1500 for my DWS+ Continentals
