- In the last episode we Interviewed Dino Sommese of Dystopia, Asunder and Noothgrush, and were absolutely blown away by the reception, and we thought as a thank you, we would do a follow up, and respond to some of the best comments we got, as well as do something we didn't get to do during the Dino interview...tattoo while doing a podcast.

I'm 24 , been listening the past 5 years and it's truly therapy to me , through my PTSD , suicidal thoughts constantly and just the never ending weight of living, Dystopia said everything I've ever felt .. I'm a black kid from just outside dc who grew up skateboarding and have never related to anyone as much as I have dino . Of course I want a show but more than anything I want them all to do what they want to do and makes them happy, thank you dystopia and thank you both for providing us this interview
hell yeah
I'm 17, almost 18, and I've been plagued with absolutely unbearable mental illnesses. Dystopia is the only band, ever, that has reached me so deeply and made me feel so much less alone in the sloppy mess of life. I wouldn't ever want Dino to sacrifice his own mental health and come back to such a heavy and triggering entity in his life, but if Dystopia got together, I'd cry with Dino every fucking show. I hope only the best for Crooke and Candle, and the guys who were in Dystopia. You guys are the fucking best.
Yeah please interview Mauz and Todd!!! Damn that would be interesting. I used to see Dystopia play backyard gigs and still listen to their music. And tell them to play one more reunion show damn it! 💥
I started listening to dystopia in high school and now I’m in my first year in college. Dystopia is my favorite band up with deftones, when I play their music I have all types of emotions and their lyrics are awesome. It’s rare to find people my age that listen to this type of music. What’s funny is my 2 friends in college rn I met them because they both had dystopia shirts. Dystopia means so much to me because they really opened up my music taste. I love and miss them🙃
Also when I saw your guys’ thumbnail with Dino and dystopia and when I read “interview” a spark of happiness and watching the video was just something I needed to watch thank y’all
Thank you so much for the follow up ! Wish there were more interviews of dino
William, I will be back in Oakland with Ozzy most likely in May. If everything works out the way I hope it will, we will film another interview with Dino, Mouse of Dystopia, Chio of Noothgrush, and perhaps even Dr. Hate as well. Stay tuned!!
@@jasonjennings8141 of course I'll wait THANK YOU!
I hope you guys do more interviews because I find it very enjoyable to learn more about these individuals.😺
Topcat, for sure we will be having more guests on, sharing there stories and experiences. Stay tuned!!
@@jasonjennings8141 Great interview with Dino and nice follow up.
I'm so looking forward to seeing future interviews! thanks for giving us the opportunity to learn more about these amazing folks ✌️✌️
Dystopia is one of my all time favorite bands. The interview was awesome, but a crushing to hear dino express that basically he would never do dystopia again. I got into them after they broke up, and would love the opportunity to see them live like so many other fans. I think that the amount of support for another tour would be staggering. Dystopia is legendary and should be celebrated, and rare that all members are still alive. Please consider playing live again!
At 51 my music taste is all over the place. But back in the day I was a young metalhead exclusively. I remember I had to hide my Soft Cell record in the closet so my friends didn't stumble on it in my collection.
Totally subbed now, props to y'all!
For sure, thanks for the sub! We got a lot more coming in the near future!
Guys keep doing this!!!!
I love this
Yesssirrr keep it comin
fuck to see them perform again would be a dream come true!!! ive been lucky enough to see them perform 4 times and still jam out to them and still rock mt dystopia merch!! we fuckin g love you DYSTOPIA!!!
I know Dino doesn't want to come off as a cash grabber *cough misfits cough*, but there's so many of us who could die happy if we got to see dystopia. It kills me I lived only a couple hours up the hill from the bay but was just a kid playing in the dirt when Dystopia was doing those iconic shows at Gillman. Even if they did only a couple hometown gigs I would jump on a plane straight to Oakland so fast. Leaving the bay area metal and punk scene was the hardest part of moving to Washington, but even being under the same roof they once played under makes me feel alittle closer to the band. I'm also a big fan of his involvement with the early Ghoul years, was too nervous to approach him the one time he was at a gig though haha
would of overdosed or died without dino, matt, and todds sound of empathy. They helped me realize i wasn't alone in the hell rot.
24:30 thank you for that!
Absolutely. :)
oh my god it's so funny I found you here I was literally just watching the tape you posted of the show with carcinogen, mindrot, dystopia, phobia and all those bands, just kinda happened to remember your account name
Any chance you know what happened to a band called Skaven? They were around back in the day too.
What about an interview with chiyo??!!
Patience...it's in the cards. 😁
Very cool
Dino,if you guys do at least a 6month tour in the U.S. , I'll make sure Carrie Mock goes to one of the shows. 😊 🤘 🤘 🤘. HV.
thats nice japanese art. congratulations
Nice to see Mike Tyson is a metalhead.
Lachrymose!
My hc band wants to cover backstabber and I believe that’s as close to a live dystopia set I’ll ever get.
Tell the guys in dystopia to play the next sound and fury. How fucking crazy would that be??!
Did you even watch the first interview haha they’re not coming back
They are never coming back and even if they would why the fuck would they play sound and fury? Lmao fucking hell…
