670hp Ford Cobra Mustang vs Ferrari-Swapped Scion Frankenstein! // THIS vs THAT
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 чер 2024
- The only way Matt could could improve his stock “Terminator” Cobra Mustang engine was slapping a 3 liter Whipple supercharger on it! He also ported some fancy airflow tricks he picked up competing in time attack. Meanwhile Cory took his Scion FR-S and dropped in a Ferrari engine out of a Maserati Quattroporte, and that was just the start. This Frankenstein has parts from a Chevy Camaro, an Audi, GM… plus a dry sump system, all done in-house. But who’ll get down the strip faster? And more importantly, who does better donuts??

"I'll blow this thing up man". Mad respect for a dude who builds his own cars and races with that attitude 🤣
Then following through! Haha
Someone with more money in the bank than most of us.
@@bambammartin1556 A man of his word.
Shit I do that sometimes when I’m in the mood and just want that W really bad unfortunately for me I got no sponsors or help so that dumb decision costs me thousands 😂
Nah I wanted him to hit limiter for those donuts 🤣
That’s badass that the Cobra owner is still running the stock 4.6. I still get excited when I see a terminator out on the streets.
Same here man I drive a 2019 Camaro SS but I still get excited when I see a badass mustang or mopar out in the road especially a terminator such a badass looking car

That thing was nasty. Man it sounded beautiful when je did those donuts. He was sandbagging & still won easy.
I've been a mustang guy for my whole life but that Scion build is sick. You have to give that guy props for the ingenuity that went into that car. It's the definition of built not bought.
Listening to the builld of that Scion actually blew my mind. So cool how hes just an average guy trying out what fits and what works! Seemed like he really enjoyed building it!
Yeah respect
Waste of money.
@@dontrustwhiteyevery1 All cars can be considered a waste of money as 99% of cars are depreciating assets. If you’re looking for advice on money you came to the wrong channel friend. 😂
Yeah. I was all for the Cobra when I first saw it. But, then once the other guys started talking I forgot about the Cobra.

His smile 😃
"I broke it." With a smile on his face. Mad respect dude!
I respect the FRS build, that F136 doesn't make a ton of power and doesn't have very much aftermarket support, but it was a solid engine for its day and it sounds like the world is ending. Really cool swap.
Pretty much the coolest Mustang I've ever seen. And, mad props to FR-S dude's "makin' it happen" attitude. That's fantastic.
Cobra sandbagged that first race so hard. Cool cars, and Cory seemed like such a cool ass dude and had one of the more interesting builds on the series to date.
Cobra could of gave 10 cars and won
I watch Cory and his friend I forgot his name but they both have matching cases just that Cory has the better looking car and they are both hilarious I watch them both in tik tok
Matt6berries is his friend. He has a viper swapped z34
Honestly he probably knew how bad he would beat the scion so he sandbagged round 1 hoping the guy would negotiate a good race. Unfortunately the scion owner didn’t seem to catch on and should’ve went for more lengths
🤔 Corey should have asked for shorter distance. (500ft instead of 1000) would have had a better chance
One of the strangest Terminator builds I've seen but it's still really cool to see a Terminator on this channel. Definitely my favorite car of all time.
Its weird the Terminator gets so slept on these days. They were the Hellcat before the Hellcat, more than that from the factory they had their power ratings INSANELY under reported. In stock form with just a pulley swap they were going 390whp to 500whp.
@@brendanfitzpatrick3653 Yeah, I was surprised to see how much they didn't really know about the Terminator. These cars were revolutionary, without the Terminator we probably wouldn't have all these factory supercharged Mustangs, Camaros, and Challengers/Chargers running around. The Terminator was the first ever factory supercharged Mustang and it was extremely over built just to top it all off. The engine along with the T-56, the styling, the sound, the story of these cars...they're amazing. Definitely a slept on car, so many people really don't know anything about them.
Agreed there wouldn’t be no hellcat or zl1 without the mustang the mustang was the building block for all these muscle cars
Thanks! Its been a long evolution but widebody time attack is where its at!
@@CaliberCustoms There he is! I'll make sure to subscribe to you.
I love the DOHC 4.6 litre engine too. I’ve had a low miles one I blew up and an older high mileage that wouldn’t die.
It’s that Wednesday motor phenomenon
That Ford 4.6 is arguably the best sounding V8 ever.
And by extension other Ford motors with the same firing order like the 5.4 V8 from Ford GT.
The *Ford Lighting also had a 5.4L v8. My dad had one with an aftermarket exhaust and it was sick!

It felt like the kid in the FR-S hasn’t had a lot of seat time…
I think he knows how to drift. Don't forget that car is super light and short, it was designed to be thrown around with 200hp. He's got more than double, he can baby the gas and still drift for days.
Worked with a Vietnam vet at autozone who was that guy who bought a terminator in 01’ and kept it all stock, he had the thing repainted and the interior redone all back better than factory, when I worked with him, she was a beautiful cobra, nicest one I’ve seen to date, and Jim was a dope ass dude dude to work with, love that old school knowledge

That has to be the best Mustangs I have ever heard.. you could actually hear the raw power it has, im no Mustang fan but I really want a terminator now!
Look up snakebite cobra on UA-cam lol
I'm not much of a Ford guy, either (I don't really believe in brand loyalty...except for Toyota, I guess, but that's mostly for boring, daily-driving, reliability stuff), but the SVT Cobra (not even strictly the Terminator) holds a special place in my heart. The sounds the 4.6 can make...unrivaled.

Love the 4.6 4v, my favorite sounding v8
Can there be a this vs that burnout competition after the drags if the drivers agree? 🤙🤙
The ending had me in tears the way he just says... I broke it 😂
When someone says "I've never drag raced in my life" and they're this balls deep into the car culture I gotta call shenanigans. If they consider going to the track and going off a tree drag racing then maybe I'll believe them. But everyone, even your grandma, has lined up at a light and gone foot to the floor on someone. And when you're at the point of building Frankenstein cars like this, you've most definitely "drag raced."
Mustang guy forgot to show the bags of sand in his back seat. Good shit though. Both cool, well done builds and most importantly good fun! Great presenting by Micah, Cory and Gary and editing as well, shreditos!
Two great builds, can never go wrong with a Terminator though.
Makes me happy to see those body style mustangs are still relevant in 2022 and kicking ass. Definitely an insane build, shows what you can do with that car.
12:00 Exactly my first thought. The terminator has been my favorite car since 2003. Bought a 2001 Lightning way back in 2005 and the roots style supercharger whine is addictive to say the least.
you've helped me out like 5 times bro, keep up the good work
Please use Dragy in the cars from now on so we can get some idea of the speeds. Would be great if you also keep a living scoreboard to show everyones times (bonus points if you keep it in the description with the "this vs that" specific video linked out to the right of each car). I think these ideas would add new levels of audience engagement. Hope you guys get this message and thanks for the upload.
Drag racers don't do numbers well. Unless it's on a tree'd dragstrip, it's win or lose. Besides, most drag racers who run for stakes don't want people to know what they run on a quartermile anyway. The Mustang was clearly sandbagging either way.
@@the_frankc That Mustang was definitely a 9 second car 😅
Gary remains the star of the show regardless of the whips, full time that man!!!

That is one well setup Mustang. There have been high HP Mustangs on here before, and they have always kind of been meh. And the FRS is super cool, all it needs is a flat plane crank.
