I recently saw a video on Facebook of a person going through 100 guitarists and classifying their style with just a single sentence. For Tom Morello, he put: "Tom Morello. He wins the 'has never played an unoriginal lick or riff in his life' award." 10000000% accurate!
I have a hypothesis about Jamel_AKA_Jamal: He didn't really pause because he had to. He didn't really pause to explain things. He paused so he had a legit excuse to roll it back so he could hear more😂
I have been a Chris Cornell fan since I was about 13 and it has been such a pleasure watching you become a fan of his as well. There will never be another Chris Cornell. I saw Chris Cornell at Hangout Music Festival ,with my son and a work friend. In Gulf Shores Alabama. In 2012. The line up was incredible. Chris Cornell was by himself. Nothing but him and an acoustic guitar. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, Alabama Shakes, Steve Winwood, Cage The Elephant,Young The Giant, Gary Clark Jr. Dave Matthews Band. Too many others to list! It was awesome. One lady was openly weeping listening to Chris Cornell. I was 52 and jamming out!
I feel fortunate that I got to see him live the 1 time and it was with these guys, Audioslave . It was a very good show, Chris and Tom were in top form, I was right at the front of the stage and got to watch them up close and personal,. It was also the first concert I took my daughter to and she fell in love with Chris.

I love a lot of music, but Cornell is the only musician I ever truly loved. The day the news broke about his death I sat and watched other musicians play covers of his songs in tribute to him.. and I cried like a baby. I still go back and watch some now and then. You truly appreciate how loved he was when you're watching other artists break down in the middle of the covers..

Tim Commerford bringing some funk with him wherever he goes. Seriously underrated bassist.
He said he evolved because of Chris. He said in RATM all he did was riffs.
With the sweetness!!

Too bad he's an anti American Commie.
Would someone tell me the definition of underrated? How is someone who was a member of two of the most famous bands ever underrated? 😂

I have to say.....there's no greater feeling than to see someone's reaction to music that shaped your youth and brought joyto your life through the years. Chris's music through the years has a power like no other. If you don't get goosebumps when you hear him sing..... something is seriously wrong! Love your channel brother and love your love for music!!!!
Don't sleep on that guitarist, Tom Morello.
