What a beautiful place to be beached. As long as the no-se-eums didn't come out and chew on you. Hopefully I'll visit that same beach some time when we build our own cruising trimaran.
Highlands beach will do that! Be thankful the skeeters and no see ums didn’t drive you crazy! Whitewater Bay actually has plenty of deep water, might be worth another visit.
Hope you get free and sail back, if you stay overnight you might see great contellations and stars at night since probably where you are at there is no light pollution.
@@tomaskryan It is wonderful that we live in this beautiful world and see the beauty of nature and space. I am building my own boat and hope soon to take on the seas and travel through the caribean and at night looking forward to do star hazing as well.
Yeah, they are great for sailing, stretchy and dry quickly. I highly recommend. I got the thin version. I go one size up from what I normally wear. www.amazon.com/dp/B082FG6VGT
you've inspired me to pick up an F27, and have been getting it ready for a few weeks now. (one on the last hulls). how heavy an anchor do you recommend? thanks, Craig
Great sense of humor there. That is the beauty of trimarans. Get into places a mono huller would never even think about doing.
Exactly!!

I guess I got lucky with the no-se-eums. I do not remember seing any. Probably time of the year and wind.
Have fun building your trimaran!
Nice boat, great sense of humor!
Thanks!

Cool. I did not mind too much. Such an incredible place to be stuck. Haha.
Will try that next time. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! Nice boat!
I have tide charts on my phone.. Shows when high & lows happen, heights too.
I have that too! I just have to learn how to use it properly. Lol!
What's the name of your Knife?. Nice episode and lovely island
Not sure. I do not have it with me now. I got it at Walmart in the fishing section.
Thanks!

Exactly. The night sky was wonderful. No light polution, and all alone in this vast open space.

You got the right plan. Connect with nature and look at the stars. I wish you the best and sail the boat you built to incredible places.
What kind of pants are you wearing? They look great.

Did you see any skeletons of other multihull sailors there?_you might be in for the long haul
🫣😜
Are there gators in that water? 😳
Maybe... I was on the lookout for sure. Actually, there are saltwater crocodiles in the Everglades.

That’s great!
Don’t even remember exactly, about 20 pounds. I carry two anchors: bruce and fluke.
Have fun!
Yes. Highland Beach has them…the shallow water extends out a couple of miles off from land. Much worse than gators are the mosquitoes….the State bird.
