yea, well the level 3 keys have limited use cause they will become drops when you reach zanarkand. I always end up putting master thief on rikku because she has a higher agility to get more steals in.
I like putting master thief on tidus as with a first strike sword you can buy from O'aka in macalania you can steal/mug then immediately flee if you don't need the kill
@@applejackx97 Sounds like that's a normal run without using my guide. I'm getting as many return spheres as I want from the monster arena. First strike isn't so special when you can add it to a weapon whenever you want.
Hang on a minute…in order to get tornado you need to go back to Besaid before the dark aeon blocks you in order to get the Jecht sphere there…in other words you need to go back as soon as you get the first jecht sphere…otherwise the guardo won’t let you back into guadosalam
I like farming dark Yojimbo before Mt Gagazet. I got really lucky I got BDL weapon for Yuna as well as a rare drop Master sphere. Added magic booster and One Mp cost, she could immediately spam double cast Ultima in every battle which can easily sweep the entire game.

The expert grid has lvl 3-4 locks for endgame abilities like flare and holy. Check out part 3, I open with an explanation of my strategy to break the sphere grid.
My bahamut only does 31k damage instead of 61k. I’ve taken Yuna through the strength sphere grid and the buster sphere grid. She has 20 more levels I haven’t used. Did I miss a step?
I recognize and admit that the first battle with Chimerageist is always a struggle. I often give bahamut haste and protect abilities. Helps him get off more attacks for the battle. The extra strength spheres from the thunder planes that added +12 strength might have made the difference. at the 4 min mark I get +8 strength using the return spheres on Yuna to go back and break her lvl 2 lock. You gotta beat Chimerageist once. it's possible without Bahamut if you use Auron's Banishing Blade and Rikku's ultra null. then just keep topping up haste and nulls with Yuna and Tidus or whatever. That should get you going but, I made plenty of saves making this guide so I'll get back to you on exactly what might have made the difference for me vs what you're seeing.

Apparently if you fail the first attempt he gets stricter when you go back so I reset and saved right before meeting him (and after fighting Lady what's her face with Vanilla Yojimbo) and tried 125,001, 112,501, 141,751 but he would never go below 190,350. The guide I found that ended up working was a corky 175,001, 117,501, 148,051, and finally 177,825. Interesting how he's still willing to haggle with you after a nearly 60k gil drop. I think the minimum threshold for each haggling segment is the first set of numbers so as long as the player stays above the minimum each time I think it should allow you to proceed to the next frame. The only exception is the second frame of haggling which in the case where it worked for me (being eventually 177,825), was 50% + 1 gil of the asking price (117,501 out of 235,000 gil).
over 20 years of playing this game and i had no idea you could do half of this stuff before flux.......... incredible
The master thief ability is best given to Kimahri. Learn steal with Kimahra and In his solo boss fight you can steal a lot of level 3 key spheres.

some of this stuff i just couldnt do, liek the time to get tidus weapon, that time of 0 seconds i just cant complete or 200 thunder dodges
i got Tidus Sigil in less than 27 minutes on Xbox one X it's easy and im new but i used the d-pad like the game said.
i know nothing about any of these games,,yet i beat them.....wow i feel like a noob
At 6:18 you said to farm the fight. How exactly can you farm it? Can you do this fight multiple times?
Some people call it save scumming. If you don't get the drop you're looking for you load your last save.

You walk back, thunder plains and macalania are accessible by backtracking to the areas before the calm lands.
Oh i see PC uses NA Crest and Sigil names but Xbox uses International names and so does Nintendo Switch.
