Amazing, would love to see more videos like this from you in the future.
Compressor was/is also the hardest part for me to understand. It was important for me to learn that there are different types of compressors with different tasks.

Haha yes! Compression is usually the harder one for most of us producers, but its a game changer once we understand how it functions :D

Hey! Such a great informative video :) , I've always wanted to get into music production, I have an Arturia key lab 88 and I live in Melbourne too! I just get so overwhelmed with all the sounds and remembering names of kicks, also to just committing to picking a DAW, Can I ask what are your go to trance synths you use? I also play trance covers on piano. Love the videos keep up to good work! :)

Thank you thank you! Glad to hear from another Melbournian Trance lover! :D
Sussed out your videos, your ATB Ecstasy one is really nice! As are all the others!
Arturia Keylab 88 is solid! Production can get super overwhelming, I know what you mean
My main trance synth is Reveal Sound's Spire honestly, I've found that it has the best trance presets. The other good ones are Sylenth1 and Nexus, they're both great too. For a DAW, honestly just go for Ableton and stick to it, there's so many great tutorials on youtube too, and I'm most definitely going to make a lot of tutorials on them soon too!
Thank you for the love and support! 😊❤️
