Hey Dude- Dave From Los Angeles here. Wanted to thank you so much for your videos. I am in my mid-late 30s and always wanted to make music, but that learning curve was just a little too steep. I can edit videos, but I have 0 music theory. One day I just bought a copy of FL studio, stumbled on your videos and today I've made a small EP. Your videos are so easy to follow along and it really helps to get the skeleton down to expand into something new and unique. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and keep up with the good work.
Yes, Trance has faded out of the mainstream. But Trance is a genre that's acquired its own niche withing EDM. And it is one of my favourite genres of music. By the way, that bassline Arcade made is one of the most common and simple bassline. Its been used across genres be that EDM or Britney Spears and Lady GaGa (Applause). Cheers to Arcade. You made my Sunday morning, man!!
thanks for this tutorial , but Honestly i recommend it only for beginners , because basically for uplifting trance you should use Rolling Bass line , also the melody should be arp .
bit misleading. It does say stock plugins but he used samples you pay for and a flex pack that you pay extra for (at least for producer edition). makes it very hard to follow along
Hey Arcade love the content. You thought me a lot of what I know about music production. One suggestion about the content is that you skip a lot of the best practices while making the guides (such as naming the patterns; coloring patterns & instruments, creating mixer channels and naming for different instruments etc...)
