- Heading to a small town in Alaska, that checks a box on our bucket list.
We are the Retherford's and we live in a 12x16, (with a loft) 375 sq.ft, dry cabin in Alaska. We live a simple and minimal lifestyle. We believe that experiences and relationships are more important than things.
We enjoy the simple, yet hard work involved in living this way.
We are on-grid and do have electricity, but use it minimally. We have no indoor water, bath, or toilet. We have wood stove heat only.
We are only on this earth for a short time and everything here is temporal. We are on a journey to our promised land in heaven, where all things are eternal. With that in mind, we are not working for temporal things but for the eternal. We are living life as God leads and not allowing ourselves to become comfortable or settled but continue to grow and move through this journey.
We have a lot of different content on our channel, just real life stuff for us. Cabin life, our simple ways, Christian content, adventures, hikes, & simple meals & snacks on occasion.
Our Channel is a smorgasbord of life lived.
Our goal is to become financially free, and able to pack our bags and go wherever and whenever God leads us.

Wow, when you said you're going camping I'm thinking secluded Bush lol . There's a lot of people back there. Beautiful area, love it ❤. I'm from Grandview Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦 lol. 1100 people in the town that I live in , plenty big enough for me lol
