I Had an amazing time walking in downtown it was very overwhelming and I really appreciate my driver despite what happened. We keep learning and getting better.

Please reimburse that kind taxi driver for the loss of his phone. This is the first video where the city is clearly not safe. The graffiti you pointed out look like gang signage to me. You need a trusted local companion when going into these neighborhoods alone also recording everything is not a good idea. Looking forward to viewing the next city. Be safe!

Its bittersweet in Mexico, so wether people go or not i dont blame them.. me personally i would NOT, maybe ill take a trip there one day and tread carefully. In Dominican Republic its similar.

Dianna Mwango, you left the United States so quickly. America is a big and interesting country to discover. There's many historical places to see. EXAMPLE. The White House, Ground Zero- the Twin Towers at 9-11, Nashville, music city, Hollywood , Los Vegas, Hawaii and Cape Kagaral launch site. The Golden Gate Bridge, that other bridge so long, it's like you are driving down into the water. You have the chance to see all interesting places in the United States. So make your own journey count, and not follow your brother's map. Safe journeys.

His time gone , his phone gone , now where does he start and he uses his phone to get clients :( very sad for the poor guy … imagine if you gave up your time from work then loose your valuable. Kenya has many professional travel vloggers - Dee Mwango, Miss Trudy, Marwa, African Tigress, Kish My World. It takes skill, confidence and being streetwise to venture into unknown territory, deciding that tomorrow you will land in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, India or Jamaica without any preparation whatsoever except buying a plane ticket and booking a hotel. Most people would be worried to death being thrust in foreign lands just like that, let alone venturing in the streets alone.

Every city has bad areas, I am sure why solo travelers keep going the hood and then giving the impression that the entire city is like that. I was in Mexico City this year and loved it. The people, the food, it’s a terrific city. The only thing I didn’t like was the traffic, it terrible. People prey on tourists in all large cities - Barcelona, Rome, Naples, Paris, pickpockets and thieves are everywhere.

Dee is care free she from the country area of Kenya she definitely stand out among people as someone that doesn’t belong there so there a lot of gangs in Mexico and they are arm so all I can say be careful and don’t let that camera be the end of you you worrying about a stolen phone that’s the least you need to worry about those gangs that’s not looking for a stolen phone
Dee, you were lucky! your purse should be tucked away under a jacket (out of public site) while your key in one pocket and your phone tucked away hidden in another deep pocket as such for actual protection (they should be separated to minimize loss if your bag is stolen). Apart from your GoPro, your phone and credit card are your bread and butter. The less time you travel around with your credit 💳 card the safer it will be for you too.
And go to Nassau Bahamas and stay at the Atlantis on pleasure island. You will love it. Take the boat over to Nassau downtown. Where all the markets are. You will love. And the food is delicious.
