@Charles Hardawain Many people say this, I would not know for sure myself, however in the radio interview Bald did he seemed quite serious when asked about his military background when saying he can't talk about it.
Señor Bald! Es usted una leyenda. As a mexican I must say it's impressive how you manage to connect with people everywhere you go. It's also nice to see mexico from a foreigners perspective, specially a foreigner who refuses to see only the bad stuff even if everyone tells him there's only bad stuff to see. There's a saying in Mexico that Mexico's biggest enemy is other Mexicans, which is maybe why all Mexicans you came across warned you about Tepito, a well known shady part of mexico. Been a fan of you for a few years now and it's lovely to see you explore my own country. Keep up the good work, you legendary bald man!
Nah, that's a myth, we mexicans demand too much from ourselves, we compare ourselves to Somalia and always manage to end up losing, and we are also brutally honest. But Tepito is dangerous, maybe not so much in the middle of a market in broad daylight, but it's still dangerous.
I've been going to Mexico for 25 years and never a tourist are and have only had excellent times. I love Mexico and the people are always great and fun.

Thanks bab for the nice tour trough the iconic Tepito. Everywhere we go, there is good people to find. Generally working class people. They also like kindness and openness, and interest for their lifestyle. When they see you are humble and easy going they like you, meaning you are safe. Mexico is a great country.
The guy with the megaphone was shouting out the news about the shooting from the night before before you cut him off. Maybe Tepito just has its good and bad days lol good vid👍👍👍
Actually most cartel leaders are NOT from Mexico city, but from small towns (villages) in Sinaloa or Michoacan. Mexico City crime is mostly car theft and assault & robberies.
That being said if you want to get robbed then you are at the right place in Tepito but you can also rebuy your stolen goods the next day which is pretty cool
Tepito is my favorite place in the city. It just has a bad reputation and only dangerous if you're seeking for trouble, but is a very friendly place with all kinds of people gathered!
Totally agree, I second the motion.

Actually most cartel leaders are NOT from Mexico city, but from small towns (villages) in Sinaloa or Michoacan. Mexico City crime is mostly car theft and assault & robberies.
Spot on. There's a difference
Finally, someone said it
Sad that most Americans think all of Mexico is Sinaloa
