  • How to replace a water heater? Bradford White 75 gal water heater replacement installation. This video is a step by step tutorial on how to change-out an existing 75 gal water heater due to a leaking tank. The procedures are the same for 30, 40 or 50 gal water heaters. Some of the steps shown might not apply in your case, and you may skip them. The installation tutorial is also universal across all water heater manufacturers. Rheem, Bradford White, AO Smith, Ruud.

    I'm amazed at the way you stand at the top of your foot stool. It looks very sketchy and In your sneakers too, ouch, birds feet. Lol.

    Nice job Dennis. Question for you. Is it ok to install a 75 gal tank with 3/4" NPT if your water inlet is 1"?

      Yes, it is fine.

      The only down side is the water volume transported is decreased. When you open all hot water tabs in the house you may notice slightly lower water flew than if you had 1” connector.

    Has anybody complained about the WD-40 smell or taste after you spray the supply line rubber washers with it?

    We have a Bradford White. It lasted 4 years and blew out. This sucks. Would never buy one again.
