Vernon was the one who dealt with the city about Elvis being buried in Graceland. The rule was if you had a grave there it had to be open to the public. Vernon worked all that out and the Colonel (who managed Elvis) still knew how to manage Elvis. Vernon was ill. When he died 3 yrs. after Elvis I believe, there was no one else to turn things over to besides Priscilla as he worried about Lisa. The Colonel was still taking care of Elvis business. Um, it's her LEGAL name. Just because you get divorced, doesn't mean you revert to your maiden name. Not unless you formally request it in the divorce papers. When a woman gets married her name LEGALLY changes to that of her husband, unless otherwise specified. Your Social Security number reflects the change. I agree with the decision to deny this request. If she had not divorced Elvis, I believe it would have been appropriate for her to be buried somewhere on Graceland but definitely not to move the bodies of his family around under any circumstance. When a woman gets married her name LEGALLY changes to that of her husband, unless otherwise specified. Your Social Security number reflects the change. If she had not divorced Elvis, I believe it would have been appropriate for her to be buried somewhere on Graceland but definitely not to move the bodies of his family around under any circumstance. She knew nothing about business. Only money to keep taking. She lost two large investments one of 50M of Lisa's money. Lisa was entitled to live her life the way she wanted. And cilla was always jealous of her. She tormented that lady as a child to total misery. And sent her off to scientology to bring her up. She can go eat sand next to Mike Stone and the other men she paraded around Hollywood with, while Elvis was struggling to pay 100+ employees, the Col. And pri$cilla. She and her father forced him into marriage. And everyone knows it.

The Colonel was still promoting Elvis for 5 yrs after his death. so giving Priscilla all the credit is ridiculous. I'm sure she started the legacy that she was the one who made it all happen.
