    Dear friends
This is a little concerning, of late my viewership has been dropping. I don’t know what’s the cause of it, I can only presume you guys are getting bored with me. Even though I put in the same amount of effort into each and every episode, the returns aren’t very encouraging. Just when my last episode on Ipoh Road was getting better viewership, there was a copyright dispute with UA-cam resulting in no monetization. There must be a better way to make a living. Thanks to those who followed my channel, here’s hoping you will continue to give your full support. Have a nice day.

A great introduction to Chow Kit Road history enriching the viewers a summary that sums up Chow Kit's path until today. The food introduced in this episode is superbly appetizing and classical ( old school ) flavors that's how it should be. Yatt Lau 👏. Can't agree more that the "Yau Char Kwai" stall located very near to the porridge stall is truly " Chooi Kai Pak Torng" indeed and compliment each other perfectly. This is a very good episode ( I felt) to taste good and tasty (old school flavors ) of all classical street food. With the high numbers of "approved stickers" from Elmo and (Danny) - surely it meets the mark . Thanks again to Elmo and Danny for being such an adventurous pair and showing us where great and "hidden" good food stalls can be found at Chow Kit Road area. Yatt Lau !!! Mou Tak Deng !!! 👌👌👌

You can take out the mask while speaking. Don't worry too much about Covid while you are alone. I grew up at General Hospital staff quatres in the 60s and 70s near Chow Kit. I remember the Chow Kit market. Use to buy Hokien mee and Lok Lok somewhere there.

I stayed in Chow Kit before school in the 60's and regularly went to the pasar in the early 80's during my college time. That area that time not that bad not like what you said. There's one good stall selling fish head noodles and bak kut teh in Tiong Nam, the back of Chow Kit, you should try.

I remember chow kit back in 1990s, it was so much different then. Most I remember was the smells, the Durian, rokok kertek, marijuana and joss stick smell (if you were to go for a "massage"), like me :)

I think the only place i missed out is actually the chow kit market " food court " . I will surely make a trip there. Most of the places i have eaten since my college days from the pan mee back then it was only RM 3.50 per bowl plus it comes with a drama to entertain us during the makan . The drama was the mother & son arguement every time there were lots of customers and the father being the referee .. ha ha ha ! Kudu nasi kandar is infact the closest to old penang taste as far as i can remember . Infact at night behind chowkit road ... there are a few good nasi lemak stalls that only opens at night . But nasi lemak antarabangsa is an overated stall in my humble opinion . Thanks again for sharing these places Elmo !

I seldom venture into Chow Kit because of crime. The lure of food that brought me to Chow Kit. My favourite stop is the branch from CT Garden nasi lemak, near to Balai Bomba, it was then 50sen per pack. CT Garden nasi lemak is not as good as in the past, less customer too now. Kin Kin pan mee is my another favourite stop.
The one memory that I cannot forget is the infamous shooting spree of Prebet Adam, all because of the dispute on a golf club.

Mr lee ... I believe you the best person to describe Malaysian Chinese food... you are not like Mikey Chen, Mark Wiens, Best Ever Food Review. you are straight to point if you think the food is not good you speak you soul out. which is good...but the only problem with Malaysian Chinese food is ...they are way expensive 22Ringgit for noodles is too much... Back here in UK London, it only cost us £3.00 which is 15riinggit, I am sure that’s a riff off...but please on your next video create a video where you can get value for ££££ Chinese food. so that the western lads would value the food and increase tourism in Malaysia...Regards Raymond Chan

That kin kin chili pan meen quality has eroded a lot since the days the See Tau Poh cooked every bow personally. Though their chili is still as it was, that's the only thing that sets the stage for their pan meen. Their meen are now made by machine. Far inferior to their original stuff. Price is also been horrendous for the longest since they became well known.

@@malaysiafood328 What I meant was that they hasvealways been very pricey after they become well known. Even before Covid, they were already crazy pricey. But their Pan Meen were absolutely fantastic during the days they were selling under a tree in a parking lot nearby. Priced nicely too.
