Malaysia people very friendly ❤❤...
18:11 Janda Menunggu means THE WIDOW IS WAITING FOR YOU haha
Hi Chris, to add:
That lady who sold you water - she said she came from SARAWAK.
Sarawak fyi is a state of Malaysia but on Borneo Island. The other state is SABAH. I heard you say you plan to visit the Borneo states. That's where I am too. Welcome to Sarawak in the future & might look you up then.
And the lady are not being honest to tourist like Chris 🙄
The water only cost for RM1.00 or 1.50 per bottle but she charged Chris about RM3.50 and never give him the balance 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ although the amount aren't too big but the honesty portraits our country... shame 😓
@@leyanazulee4897 maybe Chris asked her to keep the change. I saw 1 of his video in Jalan TAR where Chris asked a vendor selling Milo drink to just keep the change.
@@ardentblue7493 yeah, but this time Christ got scammed by the lady...she's not honest
@@leyanazulee4897
That's bad. However, i wouldn't call it "scammed" but "cheated". Scamming is more elaborate than simply being dishonest.
Everywhere in the world, there are cheaters and scammers.
@@ninjaturtle6106 😄😄 nowadays people take the situation when being cheated it's called scammed 😆😆
When you return, you should explore the East Coast states like Kelantan & Terengganu. The traditional part of Malaysia and the village life.
I love that Market! They have every fruit I can think of 🥭🍌🍊 Nice video Chris!
Come on man eat nasi ganja..Chris love it..hehe...
😊😊😊😊😊
@@salahudin1160 nasi ganja is weed rice
The name Nasi Ganja is because you will addicted after you try it 😂😂😅😅
Stay save wherever you go Chris ❤🇲🇾
Its some sort of nasi kandar.ur damn right wat ur thoughts were bro just that its like sayin that the food is addictive like u know what rite?
@@zulmahatzul9737 nasi ganja is weed rice
Your timing these vid releases perfect for me Chris!! Thanks mate I’m loving Malaysia, it might be one of my favourite destinations that your been too!
For your next trip to Malaysia, do come to Kelantan. The local name for watermelon is tembikai. Sepang is where KLIA is located
Malaysia 🇲🇾 is definitely amazing Bro glad you loving it 😊
It’s great seeing different cultures when you travel Chris ❤👏👏👏👏
Yes absolutely! That is my favorite part also! ❤️🙏🏻
Watermelon = tembikai
Guava = Jambu
Dragon fruit = buah naga
(Just to name a few fruits in Bahasa😊)
The largest fruits farm is in Rawang, Selangor (northwest of KL). Some of it from cameron highland, Pahang (east coast Malaysia). U shld visit these places when u come back again.😊
Be safe wherever u are.
And also in the video u’ve mistaken lokal for watermelon, lokal actually means local. The vendors were trying to tell u the watermelon is produced here in malaysia
@@jacksonlow5154actually the vendors are not local..the Indonesian..many of them don't speak n understand English..
Thanks for the great video Chris! Sad to see you leaving to Sri Lanka😭. We Malaysians really enjoy your videos. I almost cried when you gave the tips to the man selling sugar cane and coconut drink. In towns near the sea and river estuaries, you can actually see the fishermen returning from the sea super early in the morning and loading all the fishes and seafoods to be distributed to the wet markets in their states. My town in Johor has one such market as we're very closed to the sea, so people come as early as 4am to get the freshest of fishes and seafoods to cook for the breakfast and lunches. When I used to live in Kuantan, there used to be small shops opens at 12am selling cheap meals especially Nasi Dagang specifically for the fishermen that returning to the shores.
Wet market in Kuala lumpur look very nice place a lot fruit there
Thanks for sharing my friend
Great footage,as always bro👍
Please come back here again Chris, to visit other states in Malaysia!
Watching from Sri Lanka. I am planning to come to Malaysia. While I was watching your video when I heard the name Sri Lanka, I almost jump from my place where I was sitting. So happy to hear the name of my mother land. Hope you had a wonderful journey in Sri Lanka.❤❤ Love from Sri Lanka ❤
This series has been awesome but from what I’ve seen on your IG stories Sri Lanka looks like a blast!
When they cannot answer you in english. They reluctantly want to answer your question.
The video help me a lot too I have neverbeen to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur).Thank you Chris
The Ganja part had me bustin up!! 😂😂. Heard the sticky icky is great in Malaysia due to heat and moisture. 🤔. Keep ‘em coming brother. Slainte
Hi Chris, great video. I hope Gladys is doing well. Thanks for sharing. This is one place I won’t go to. I can’t handle heat and humidity. 🙁 The respect you give each person is awesome. Good to see. And no fn dramatic crap. Your energy is so much better than a lot of people I watch. Keep it up Chris, look forward to the next one. As always have a good one e!😁🇨🇦
Terimah Kasi! That is the best word to use

Loving the videos, cheers
Love your videos mate, helped us a lot to plan what we’ll be doing when we visit Malaysia with our kids in a couple of months 🤟🏼
So happy to hear that! You're going to have such a good timeb
22:08 The dude that comes out of the store and starts walking behind you looked shady Chris. The way his eyes locked on your camera make me doubt his intentions. He quickly changes his demeanor and decides to abort mission as soon as you start talking to the vendor. Just be careful out there my friend I know you know what's up. Im from Los Angeles too and I'm Chapin as well. 🇬🇹
He really wasn't doing anything besides walking. You've never been to Malaysia, it's super safe. Nothing like the US or the Americas in general. He was probably Indian-Malaysian and they sometimes look like that, they're harmless though
Hi Chris. So happy to see you visited Malaysia. Welcome and hope you enjoy. Please come again and bring Glandy with you so that ur not alone.
This is a nice place and malaysian people very friendly.
Another great video. Have fun Stay Safe 🎉
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
Have a safe trip Chris..tc and God bless
Safe journey to you chris!
correction on that 'apricot' fruits that you mentioned at 4:42
actually it's called #Kundang 😅
Hi Chris, great video mate 👍 take care.
Thanks a lot bro!
Welcome to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. Hope you will have great time in there..
Hi im been watching you for a month on Facebook when you had problems with your room in Jamaica and I started watching My dad's from Jamaica Kingston
One of the best market to buy fruits and at cheap price 👍
Waiting for you explore my Sarawak....very different vibes
Chris take care. Hope to see you in your new video with Gladys soon.
Hi Chris. I'm Jamaican and I love your videos as you travel the world. Just wanted to say that sorry you had that experience re not getting back your change...most Jamaican are honest people and wouldn't do that to you.❤
Yes, so true.. I felt so ashamed as a Malaysian, when the lady showed the bad attitude to portrait our country 😣😣
Thanks. Way to go, man
Big up keep up the good work bro 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
It is our morning wet market where we get our chickens, beef, pork and sea foods for cooking.
It is white pomfret.
You are really into seeing the way of life of local Malaysian. people.
Very nice market Christ. I have been there twice located in Chow kit area. Actually most locals buy their groceries there. It’s not a tourist area but time to time you can see some tourists too. The dragon fruit actually the red colour flesh is more sweet than the white ones and contain more vitamins. Anyway I hope you have enjoy your 3 weeks in KL. I hope to see your Sri Lanka videos soon. Take care bro and stay safe. God bless!
1. Check out Genting Highlands, if you haven't been, you'll be pleasantly surprised
2. Check out the night markets outside KL
3. Go up to Penang
Let me go get my coffee. It's about to be a great day watching videos ❤
Malaysia was the first South East Asian country I have ever been to and it is still my favorite😍even though the other South East Asian countries are also absolutely amazing
Yes!!! I can't wait to be back!
There are 2 type of jackfruit... Nangka is jackfruit where can be eaten rawly..Another one is cempedak where people normally fry the fruits and eat rawly.. both look similar, cempedak looks smaller. .ohh you'll be leaving to Sri Lanka soon... safe journey bro.... and welcome back again.. 😎✌️
Sepang is a place outside of KL. Where there is a Sepang International Circuit for F1 racing.
Jambu is guava
Save journey bro. Please do come back to malaysia. For other amazing videos
Bye2 bro c u again..may god bless u..💚💚💚💚💚
The sellers use opium seeds (kaskas) in their cooking to give it a 'kick'. The use of the word 'ganja' here implies that people are addicted to the food.
2 years back police raided a place I've been to many times (not in KL) because they felt 'weird' & sleepy after they had lunch. They found that the staff had some cooking 'herbs' but nothing illegal 😂
Fruit look so fresh bro
If you love underwater and beautiful sceneries, try Pulau Redang or Tioman Island in the East Coast, Malaysia.
Sure Malaysian will mis alot of your content man. Your are nice guy. Cool
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻🙌🏻
@@Travelwithchris 😀
10:12 He was smoking, that’s why he quickly threw it to the ground once you filmed him. It’s against the law to smoke in public places in Malaysia, he would’ve been fined rm10k (more than usd2k) 😅 I guess that’s why he was reluctant to chit chat after that 😆
Honestly I think he was just shy to converse in English
You should visit galle, Anuradhapura, definitely Kandy, some local market in Colombo and even Jaffna 🇱🇰
come to borneo kuching sarawak bro, such a calm city and peaceful ❤️
Amazing bro.chow kit market.always busy. SEPANG INTERNATIONAL SIRCUIT F1 in SEPANG TOWN👍😁😁❤️
Malaysia people very friendly❤
Jambu jandau mau...hahaha..Chris oh Chris...
Hi Chris! Love your videos!!! Do you use your Sony A7 IV for shooting videos or gopro 11?
The reason they call 'nasi ganja' is to indicate that their rice is very deliceous and can be very addictive. The term I think originate in Ipoh, a city about 3 hrs driving north of KL.
Fresh seafood mostly from the state of Terengganu. Located from the east part of Malaysia.
It is Cool and I am surprised it is not smelly there.
There are many jetties in Malaysia where fish traders buy fish to bring to fresh markets like this, jetty banting, port dickson, malacca, linggi etc etc. but if its from different states you need a permit to bring the fish interstates or else you wouldn’t be able to sell
u should visits Langkawi,Penang or pulau Pinang that located in the north of malaysia, sabah also is a good places to visit where u can go hiking at mount kinabalu, many more..
Hope we’ll meet in Kuala Lumpur. I’ll be there in the first week of May. Hope to bump into you and Gladys
Chris, you should come back for Lima Langkawi, on 23rd May.
Hello Chris....for your info, Sarawak is the largest state in Malaysia n the capital city is Kuching. It is near Brunei n Kalimantan Indonesia.
Hi Chris lovely videos as usual one question Kuala Lumpur is cheap too?
Try Kuantan Pahang. It is really nice there it is like LA to Vegas kind of trip…
Chris, those are not Jackfruit but Cempedak
Jackfruit are much larger
2:47 Lady selling drinks said she's from Sarawak.
Chris ..watermelon is called Tembikai in Malay
I use to watch your video vlog.Since you like fruit so much..For next trip you should visit Agriculture farm in Malaysia..
Leaving my cold country the Netherlands for KL tomorrow. Last time I was there was a few weeks before the outbreak of Covid😅 I missed Msia a lot. You should visit the Netherlands once. The food is bad 😂 But the vibe is great 😊
This area used to be the most popular in the 70's and is still visited by people even today even though it is a bit outdated
That is White Pomfret or Ikan Bawal Putih. The ethnic Chinese love them served steamed with ginger.
The coolest man ever with the wing's on your back and the wind on your face you're fan kory manning sarnia Ontario Canada in jesus name I love all your videos on UA-cam you're a ANGEL on earth today
Good luck ❤
friendly locals
The old woman where you buy mineral water at the beginning of the video says she is from Sarawak. Sarawak borders Sabah and Brunei, part of Borneo.
Water melon in Malay wee call it Tembikai. Sepang is the district located in the southern part of the State of Selangor.
Nasi Ganja was first introduced in Ipoh, Perak. Basically it is Nasi Kandar as found in Muslim Indian restaurants. Named Nasi Ganja, supposedly you will be addicted to eating more. It is a title deliberately created by the seller because most people know what cannabis is but in Malaysia many people do not know its advantages in medicine. Ganja has been mentioned in the ancient Malay historical text "Sulalatus Salatin, which tells the life of the Sultan, magnates and people of Malacca which is believed to have been written in the 15th century. Among the things written, "You already know that ganja is intoxicating, why do you eat it too,"
Yes bro !!!
malaysia people Many are Kind❤
