The suit was designed by people who are in fact not racists, and was also constructed by people who are not Warden and Gavin. That is their masterpiece and their spider-man magnum opus and it was tainted by the horrible people that were the lead actor and director.

It’s really a shame that with everything that’s happened, this gorgeous beautiful suit will probably be forever tied with the controversy, and it’s design will be overlooked
Looking at the behind the scenes, there was alot of effort and care in making this suit. There was like professional equipment used in making this suit. And regarding the lens, I don't know too much about resin but you can likely find a very effective gluing method if you search long enough. (But fr tho no offence but imagine being able to tell people that you broke a film ready Spidey suit)
Kinda, he made general concept art with indications and approval of Gavin, I designed it (with creative inputs coming also from Gavin and Alessio my coworker). In order of creative input I'd say the design is by: Gavin (indications, reference supply, and approval +logo he and his friends draw on paper), me (all the corrections and convertion to real life design of the general concept + detail, texture and materials, 3d details and webshooters), Datrinti for the general concept art based on Gavin's ideas, and Alessio my coworker for suggestions on the suit details.
In fact is too complex in movies (and this is just a fan movie) to refer the design to just one person. You end up calling it like the movie or by the director who gives the general tone inputs and eventually reference+ approves design decisions .
People, please just recognize this suit as a work done by Spider-Lab, not the image of pretentious and ignorant fans. Please, this design deserves so much more.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the design; I'm super picky about classic suits and how I want them to look, but I have nothing but respect to the costume designers and creators. I visited Kai the other day and saw the suit in person. Wonderful, wonderful suit.

I remember watching this when it came out and I ADORED THIS video. I actually got in touch with the stunt actor for Lotus and reviewed the actual stunt suit. In my video. I got to wear the suit and do some cool stunts. As suit reviewers we gotta shed light to whatever darkness occurred before.

This reminds me of the time when I bought a Raimi face shell and broke one of the lenses day one. I was trying to practice taking them on and off, and one of ‘em broke. And the worst part was that the shipping to get it replaced was $50.

In some aspects it is better than the No Way Home suit. The overall suit is still more practical and realistic than the No Way Home suit(Especially the webbing)

In some aspects it is better than the No Way Home suit.
The overall suit is still more practical and realistic than the No Way Home suit(Especially the webbing)
