Wow! This whole vid just reminds me of how many unfinished models I have stored up in the vault. I often ponder if I will ever get to finish them? My mind never runs out of concepts to do, yet father time is always escaping me. I am thankful for the ones that have made the channel. Life can be like a big box of unfinished models.
I agree. I have totes and boxes full of finished, partly finished and never touched models. I get ideas then I get overwhelmed and move onto other projects
Better yet whom in your midst is going care enough to be worthy of your prized possessions enough to build and appreciate them when you are gone . Thats my dilemma but my collection is mostly old model magazines .
The front tire off the ground, is like one of those unfortunate 'accidents' that could wind up adding to the 'effect' of a Super Stock launch, as long as the wheel off the ground is the correct one for the torque of the engine. Anyway, a Tree and abit of lift over all on the car would sure make a neat diorama. I have a ton of 'incompletes' that I try to go back and inch another step to completion. Great build Luka, keep on a chooglin till you get er done.
Looks great! I have a few parts kits of that Duster. I keep using the engines and chassis for other Mopars. I might have what you are missing. Just come on by and hang out and check.
matt and dana conte! wow that's a blast from the past..I remember he had that website called "lookout model car parts" ordered a bunch of parts by mail back in the late 90s early 2000s. Is that you?
Dat car so fast its lifting the front left wheel off the ground even without an engine, haaa. But yea i do love them rims... Ya know back in the day i was running around in a 440 duster and after 2 years the floor pan around where your driveshaft hoop support is had a 16 inch rip/tear cross wise of the car. Looks like you built a nice ride there and should finish it off...
Speaking of Ford Poppy Red....that’s the color Dale Earnhardt used on his Goodwrench era NASCAR chassis. I always thought it was Chevy Engine Red/Orange but an RCR employee confirmed it was indeed Poppy Red.
Great chassis work, I find myself in the same boat . I love building chassis’s and cages , but I tend to fall off on the body paint. Maybe I need to farm out the body work or trade chassis work for body paint.
wow very nice i kanowe all about small imperfections just gets under yo skin so ta speak luvin those slicks the detail and fab workx is the signature of a pro at its best i have raided three or four kits just to make one those are the gooder mods and thats the stuff dreams are made of build it and they will come lub cha scooter d
I heard you say that they don't make metalizer paints anymore. I found a set of paints for fantasy figures by rustoleum which are lacquer paints. Were the metalizer paints you spoke of lacquer paints as well?
Rebuilds or parts box models . Even better models someone is throwing out are the best because the sky is the limit . Because you can take bigger chances with your model and not be concerned with failures . Or the loss of a kit at today's cost .

He’s sold it to a nanotech company a few years ago. I grew up in the industry thanks to him.
Great looking kit.
Awesome build. Love the engineering that went into the chassis. That's where the fun is. There's pride in that workmanship...

Rustoleum bought Testors. So that's probably the same paint. Good info.
