No idea how comments got disabled on this video! It's fixed now.
EDIT: I just came back to them disabled again! I guess UA-cam is a little bit confused today.
I felt that pain
Make the quietest speedcube
Lol
I think it’s cuz yt presets every video on for kids
That happens to me on all of my videos all of the time!
The things he does for his channel
Fr tho, the reason why I’ve been subscribed for 3 years and he’s still remained one of my favorite youtuber of all time
@@froggman66 yeah, it's surprising how he comes up with these high-effort videos for us even after all this time. I think at this point, he could only step up his game by creating an app or something that would help his fans in learning all popular cube puzzles.
i personally found very few "comprehensive guides" on cube puzzles, and most only focus on one or two cube sizes, so it would be amazing to see a youtuber like this one go way above and beyond, and do what nobody did yet, at least to my knowledge.
Or maybe he just has fun making random stuff based on cubes
Plot Twist: He just has big hands
yup
And a big ruler
And a big ass gancube
Lol
Just comically large hands
I love how huge his hands look compared to the tiny cube
For the smallest magnetic cube possible you might be able to make it work with magnetic balls. There will probably be some issue but it could be just passable enough to qualify.
ooor he can just simply buy smaller magnets.
Do you mean ball berrings?
@@BoicuBuduAndrei No
Is harder to use ball berrings
@@gavinspeedcuber4141Actually, using a small ball bearing or other ferromagnetic material in the corner could free the edges to have much bigger magnets, letting the magnets do the heavy lifting while the iron (lets say) in the corners just does what it does best.
And, in that way, small ball bearings would be ideal for the corners, since even if the bearings were to become magnetized themselves (i.e. doing an R1000 for no reason), they could rotate to help attract the magnets.
I am going to use this as reference for my 57mm cube that I've had for a decade and decided to glue magnets into after watching a couple of videos showing the angle snapping of more modern speedcubes.
Great to see people doing stuff by hands
Could you have used the slightly smaller magnets you showed at 2:03, in place of the larger ones just in the edge pieces at 5:03? Might they have fit without having to do any cutting?
And where do you get your magnets? And what size magnets did you use?
I thought the same
I just made this after watching this video. Took me about 2 and a half hours total. I, honestly, can't tell much of a difference. Maybe Z3 is trying to upsell the video, which is totally fine, that's youtube, but I don't agree on the end result. is it noticeable? Yes. If YOU ARE the one who did the modification and have paid super close attention. I gave the pre-mod to my woman and let her turn it, then I let her turn it after the mod and even she said she couldn't feel much of a difference. After a few solves, I agree. It's TECHNICALLY noticeable, but not THAT noticeable... Either way, it was a fun experience. Hopefully others try this :)
So did I, and I agree the affect is not a very strong magnetic feeling. I bought 2mm by 2mm magnets for the build, so I wonder whether that was the reason, as the 4mm by 1-2mm magnets used in many speedcubes are multiple times stronger. Did you use smaller magnets like I did, or full size magnets with the cut-down edge piece insides?
Still a fun challenge, and I can feel the difference enough to not regret trying it, I just wonder if I'd have benefitted from bigger magnets.
I think its not worth the time. Specially after reading your, and the sub comment. But im left with the doubt, is the strength of the magnet the problem? Maybe you didnt use strong enough magnets.
@@majortom4543Reddit bring you here as well?
The magnets are too tightly packed to have much of an effect on the specific one it's trying to magnetise to. I think it was mostly just making it seem like it was worth the time for the content and because of all that lube and it being worn in.
i personally can't try it out because of several limitations (money, time, skill, etc) but in his defense he _did_ say that it was only a moderate effect that had a soft magnetic snap
POV: Shaq using a Rubik’s cube
Shaq probably owns an upsized cube.
I did something similar to this a couple of years ago. I took a 30mm MF3S keychain cube and put 1x2 magnets in it
Of course Z3 would do something as cool as this
You know damn well we enjoyed this video! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Magnets are potentially useful for keeping really complex puzzles from flying apart.
Cant wait for the tiny force cube video
hey thanks for inspiring me to do the same mod! i drimmeled the plastic a bit thin on the edges for slightly stronger magnets, and loosened the tensions a quarter turn (which is a ton for this tiny cube haha) and it is dead silent and turns like a dream
3:28 Omg that is genius!!!
It's just another cube puzzle :)
Wow I love this pun.
@@TechSupportDave huh
Next video: making world's first invisible Rubik's cube.
He could just get a green cube and then cut it away..
@@sosyl wow really cool idea.
Next video after that:
making 1,000 invisible cubes and selling them in CUBICLE. SMOKE CUBE.
the emperor's new cube
this actually looks really fun. if i ever get a gan 330 (which i plan to do) then i'll definitely consider this if i could.
Hello there.
@@IDFB2When yo
The next Gan release- THE GAN 330 M!
I would buy it
Hey guy, welcome back to Z3 cubing! Magnets... o_o
HAVE COMPLETEL-
I want to see a magnetic 1x1 now
Just got into cubing started with a 2x2 that got here like 3 days ago and I’m under 10 seconds not impressed compared to other people but I just ordered a moyu rs3 M 2020 hoping I can solve it under a minute
ok
gunna be hard at first, 2x2 are like the edges of a 3x3, and it is impressive you just starting and getting under 10 seconds, but with a 3x3 a little advice, do ALOT of muscle memory lol, for example solve the first layer, and instead of moving to the second ( like a lot of people do) scramble the cube again and work on the first layer for like 30 minutes, youll become wayy more fluent way faster, then do the same for the rest of the layers :
@@twizyclapz4713 *corners
@@twizyclapz4713 u mean corners
I bet within a few week to like 2 months u can be sub 40
wow good job
i love your videos
Now.... Add CORE MAGNETS!!!!!
i love your videos and you got me into cubing just about a year ago
Yiheng needs this cube!😂
This video should get 100% like retio👌👌.very hard working 💪.

Next video: Worlds smallest magnetic MAGLEV speed cube (put maglev in this cube)
i used your discount code and i love the little sticker ❤️
This is cool
"Ok, i think that is good enough for scrambling"
-Z3Cubing when an entire block already built on
When he brought out the normal size 3 x 3 it looked like a giant 3 x 3
now make magnets small enough so you can do it with the $50 tiny cube
This was TOO COOL! I love it!!!!!
Im so dumb. I would have never tjought to buy another cube to replace the gan 330 corner with holes lmao
That cube is way above average 👁👄👁
Just magnetized my 1x1 it is really good now
Hi I love your vids
7:44 why does that normal speedcube suddenly look 1 million ft big
AmaZing
the sequel: making the mini speed cube m a g l e v
Would you consider doing a video on finger tricks? Specifically b moves… I have not really learned that trick…
If they created smaller versions of cubes, are there smaller megaminxs and pyraminxs yet?
There are 2x2 versions of megaminx and pyraminx
@@caveboy5677 I think he means the normal sized cubes just downsized
there is a keychain pyraminx to my knowledge there is no keychain megaminx
I actually did this lol
Took a while but was totally worth it :)
Thx
Like the intro
what size magnets were used? yes i want to have my own of these.
Its 4am and im trynna sleep but i saw this vid
Man at a comp the scrambler would be so confused.
Impressive
The gan 330 will be my firsT cube
Guess what Z3Cubing, I made a smaller magnetic speed cube. A magnetic 1x1
Lol
He made a magnetic 1x1 years ago.
I just made a magnetic 0x0
I dare you to use that cube in competition
Why were the comments off ?
I honestly have no idea, but it's fixed now.
Will order some magnet to mod my 35mm moyu keychain cube. Its as fast as the gan cube. I cant wait cause i love smaller cube so i can play in the office unnoticed by my boss.
Awesome. Really like everyting. What about now "The strongest magnetic 3x3"? A normal sized 3x3 with the biggest and strongest magnets that can be fit in it. Will it turn at all? XD Amazing job ass always. You're awesome!
You can bring this cube to competition since it's wca legal
Yay this is posted on my birthday
happy birthday
:) good video
Try building a big 3x3 using other 3x3s :P
now add some core magnets!
Bring it to a competition
7:54 Why don't you use this fingertrick for J perms when you know it?!
Hmm, I guess I just had the regrip version so ingrained in muscle memory that I thought to change it. I guess I will now!
@@Z3Cubing Yay! Cuz I kinda hate the regrip version because it looks nooby (at least for me). The same goes for T and Y perms, although I saw that in your previous video you used this exact pro fingertrick.
@@talentedcuber yes cuz it looks nooby means u are bad at cubing and should just give up because you are using a "nooby" fingertrick
@@thatrick643 haha very ,,funny". I just think that some advanced cubers like J perm will be laughing at him
@@talentedcuber ok
now make the worlds biggest cube magnetic
I think Gan got inspired for the Gan 12 by your cube
get gan to mass produce this lol
I want mags in my 330… honestly can’t say I want to do it myself tho, lol
Like how you make a lot of mods
You should try and magnitize the qiyi qimeng plus
This cube is better than my cube smh.
You should remove the gan logo and add an angstrom logo since you use the lubes that is for setting up the angstrom cubes.
You should put giant magnets inside of giant Rubik’s cube.
Giant*

Make magnetic 1x1
What if u used the mini valk
It’s 4.7 cm
Simple maths
3cm
You could do that. The Valk is a great cube, a magnetic mini Valk would have flagship performance
do a 2022 rubiks collection
Next video making a core magnetic tiny cube
*gan 330 intensifies*
Can I use 2 plus kits (rs3m)for the mini. Also what magnets did you use.
I *think* the disc magnets I used were 3mm by 1.5mm, which seems to be the same size that TheCubicle are selling for that upgrade kit. If you're willing to wait for shipping though, you can usually find them really cheap on eBay.
cool
I just did the same but with the limited addition one and it took like 3 hours😂
could you add maglev and core magnets to it?
What size magnets are those I’m thinking of doing it
I just went to play with my 4by4 for my first time, when I went back to my 3by3 it felt like I just got a rip off of the world’s smallest cube
New main?
same I tryed it and it felt so big when I went back to my main
Cool
You too?😂😂
What???
Next video: test to make a stabler lego rubies cube
what about a link in the description for the lube
And thank you for them 🙏🏽
Jperm should be happy because test turns are jperm
You should make it maglev
Make maglev gan 330 fully magnetic as in maglev and have magnets
you should have used 7x7 magnets so it would fit better.
I made that to
Do you do post production voice sound? It seems that way to me.
He does
