The Rubik’s Brand “World’s Smallest Cube” was what got me into cubing. I was out on a school trip to Chicago, and had bought it at a candy store. After my friends watched me triumphantly open it (and didn’t bleed on the jagged plastic), I was hooked. It sat in my pocket, unsolved, for the rest of the trip. I eventually solved it a few weeks later, and I was hooked.
That is cool. I got into cubing a few years ago. I had stayed home from school because i was sick, and i went to walmart. There, i got a normal Rubiks brand, and swore that i would solve it someday. I spent the rest of the school year and the summer working hard to solve it. My first speedcube was a cheap $5 cube from 5 below lol. My second "speedcube" was the rubiks speedcube from toys r us, it was terrible XD.
Wow that’s cool for me I started this year I was sick from school and I looked up how to solved it and ever since I have been hooked and I almost know how to solve all of the wca puzzles and I stared with a Rubik’s brand too for the entire time and then I got a gan x
Thats funny how it al started with a sickness lol. I have a lot of cheap cubes, i can solve almost every wca event too. I have been working in 3x3 a lot. Before quarantine, i averaged on 1+ minutes. Now, I average about 34 seconds. I also main the Gan 256 x.
