Can't go wrong with xeros
I deliver packages for Amazon and I'm looking for summer shoe. I like the nice ventilation of this new model. Would you recommend the Aqua X Sport, Mesa Trail or the TerraFlex for the type of work /exercise I'm doing: up & down stairs, driveways and mild jogging to & from my deliveries? TY in advance for advice.
Any of those shoes would be fine for what you're doing. The tread on them is similar (actually, the AXS and Mesa Trail are the same). The HFS would be a good alternative, too, with a more "road-friendly" tread.
I just bought a pair online yesterday. I can't wait to try them!

Is sea water (salt water) affecting the lifespan of these shoes? Do they need cleaning with water after the beach?
While salt water shouldn't affect the lifespan of the shoes, it never hurts to give your shoes a rinse with freshwater when you get out of the ocian.

I’ve been looking for a minimalist shoe that I can use for trails, hiking, OCR, and mud runs. I think I found my shoes. Can these take the abuse of Tough Mudders and Spartan Races?

Are they good for people not used to running on thin soles?

how are these for canyoning?

@@xeroshoes looking forward to them arriving, because I've tried a bunch of "water shoes" that stink at traction on wet rocks.
These weren't any good for canyoning, because they are crap on wet rock. Contrary to the claim in this video, the Xero Aqua X Sport are not good for "swim run and obstacle course events" or trails for the same reason it sheds water so well: wide open mesh. The wide open mesh allows too much debris, pebbles, sand to get in and stay in the shoes. I wanted to like them, but having shoes filled with sand, small pebles and debris just wasn't fun, so I literally threw them in frustration...yeah, I retrieved them to put in a donation bin.
Am I supposed to wear them without socks?
Totally up to you. We make them barefoot friendly but you can wear socks if you like. I'd recommend a THIN sock if you go that way.
