- The Reebok FloatZig 1 is a new daily trainer from Reebok that uses the Floatride Energy foam from the Reebok Floatride Energy line in a Zig shape. It’s certainly a looker, and the FloatZig will have appeal as a running/lifestyle crossover shoe, but does it stand up to the best daily trainers on the market? Nick gives his verdict here.

I have Reebok, Adidas, NB, and Puma running shoes. I rotate these 4 through the year, and I like the floatride energy foam the best. My next shoe to try is Nike Pegasus, I heard the foam is pretty good for that too.
I just bought them in Russia for a hundred dollars, and I’m so happy😊
How was it
@@jspicecue1463 it’s the mud season in Russia, so I’m waiting for the weather to get better😂
I think I had Reebok pumps in a similar colorway 30 years ago 😮
please review the new balance hierro v8, i think they just came out. pleeeeaaaase
I find the comments funny the moment you tell a person that you feel Reebok running shoes are better than Nike shoes they tell you oh, it all depends on the person’s foot. I understand these UA-camrs have been making these videos for a living. I get it but until you actually put the shoe on your foot your foot not theirs, you can’t just go and say oh, what they’re saying is true. The shoes aren’t available for the public that’s you and I so I won’t bash them as my leg has been broken twice and the most comfortable shoe for me is a Reebok for training and running. And that’s coming from wearing Nikes and hating Reebok.
I would like to compliment you on the sincerity of your review. I'm a big Reebok fan and enjoyed both the Floatride Energy 4 and 5. These zig 1s are ugly and heavy too. I don't think I'll buy them yet. That said, do you think that it will be discontinued the Floatride Energy series? so no floatride energy 6? thank u
Thanks, not sure on the Floatride Energy line but I hope they continue it!
Had mine for a few weeks now. Love the chunky Ultraboost style mid sole look.
Unfortunately if you roll your ankle inwards (pronation), these shoes do not provide enough support. I've had to get arch support inner soles to avoid my ankle rolling
An Ultraboost knitted style upper would be far better. The upper and ankle collar are the issue. Not strong enough.
Also the symmetros 1&2 are probably better at the same price as a “step above” the normal Floatride energy’s. I have 3 pair of the symmetros 1’s and still run in them everyday. They fit my feet like a glove and the ride is smooth
That's right, the Sym 1 didn't work for me but the 2.5 a huge YES. Love the 4's, 5's improves on looks mainly but Sym 2.5 absolutely 5/5.
@@ihussain1011 what was different about the 2.5? Was it just an upper update?
I don't remember, think it's the same shoe with slight visual differences. Anyways it's excellent. @@Jordanllam
Nike pegasus 40 vs Floatzig 1 which one is better
So it's a case of "take off every 'Zig"?
I had ankle iritation and had to sent them back unfortunetlly. I will try next iteration for sure😊
How come you never give the price in euros?
usually it's the same as in USD
A lifestyle running shoe, a clear jab at the Ultra boost Light.
It’s the same brand
@@huhSHUA not to consumer making purchases from Reebok sites
@@huhSHUA no one is disputing that. I am sure you didn't understand that FloatzIg 1 directly competes against Boost light.

Always miss original zic-tec
Shoe looks a bit 90s.
I can't ever see Reebok being a serious player in the running shoe Market. The Floatride Energy 4 was okay in way, but really didn't have enough stack height and I always found myself picking other shoes t use instead.
This shoe will work best for lifestyle, not serious running.
Those vertical cutouts near the outsole are going to be problematic, small stones might get stuck in them..
true, but the NB SC trainer still sold hot.
Seems like a better shoe to wear to work than everyday running. Bummer Reebok has kinda gone downhill and are more of a Walmart brand now
Syrange shoe. Reebok has a brand image of being more budget nowadays and to give it a gimmicky name like floatzig is just a branding mistake for sure. Definitely appears more of a lifestyle shoe which might be unfair but either reebok never intended it to be taken seriously or they just have abreally poor team leadong this. Shame as they have a great sporting legacy
bit overbuilt
